DR.Mundo VGU Concept: The Madman of Zaun

**Brief Lore and Interview:** Mundo represents the crazy guy who takes so much steroids, then he became the madman physically and act very dumb too. He has a funny and unique characteristic and that's why we like Mundo. Alright, let's take a look at a part of his old Lore! Mundo will let you know upfront: this probably hurt very much." - Dr. Mundo Utterly insane, unrepentantly homicidal, and horrifyingly purple, Dr. Mundo is what keeps many of Zaun's citizens indoors on particularly dark nights. This monosyllabic monstrosity seems to want nothing more than pain - both the giving of it, and the receiving of it. Wielding his massive meat cleaver as if it were weightless, Mundo is infamous for capturing and torturing dozens of Zaun's citizens for his nefarious 'operations', which seem to have no overall point or goal. He is brutal. He is unpredictable. He goes where he pleases. He is also not, technically, a doctor. Dr. Mundo was supposedly a doctor from the Zaun, and he has interactions with Viktor and Singed because they were all humans who transformed in Zaun and from all the chemicals. Mundo became a madman from all of the steriods and chemicals he has gotten in Zaun. Therefore, It would make sense if he is going to act crazy, dumb but in fact because he was a "doctor" he could still have some intelligence. I believe that Mundo should be punching people more than a cleaver throwing bot + R. Overall, Mundo could benefit very easily from any visual improvement because in all honesty, he looks too cartoonish now. Look, we all want mundo to look funny, fun and crazy, but his original theme right now is negative. Mundo needs to be slightly bigger, his cleaver needs to be bigger too, his head needs to be wider and he should have some sort of chemicals on his body. --- **Gameplay Design:** Role: Top Class: Juggernaunt Base Stats: Health: 580 - 2100 Health Regan: 8 – 21 Range: 150 Attack damage: 62 – 122 Attack Speed: 0.625 (+ 0 – 47.6%) (+ 0.096) Armor: 32 – 92 Magic Resist: 32 – 54 Movement Speed: 340 Mundo should play mainly top lane and build a juggernaunt build. Ap and AD shouldn't benefit him much because he is suppose to be stacking HP as a basic juggernaunt. Mundo should remain having such powerful regenerating body, a crazy brain allowing him to go in the rights mindless and cleave the enemies. He should play as a madman indeed. Although, I believe that he should be easy to play, so the new players of League can try him out and enjoy learning the game with him. Mundo can have some sort of projectile, there is nothing wrong with that, an aura around him is not a bad idea. However, I do believe that he should be more of a puncher/melee fighter who uses his cleaver too over a ranged juggernaunt. **Sion level Rework required** --- **Abilities:** **Passive: Chemical Infection: ** Mundo's bassic attacks infects the target with toxin, increases the damage dealt to them from all sources from Dr. Mundo's by 3% for 5 seconds ( can stack up to 5 times ). --- **Q: [ Bruising Cleaver ]:** Dr. Mundo can either cast Bruising Cleaver in a melee combat or charges the Cleaver to throw it in a ranged combat Melee Strike: Dr. Mundo hits the enemies in front of him with his cleaver, dealing physical damage equal to his **Base attack damage + [5% of his maximum health]** and reducing their armor by 12%/14%/16%/18%/20% for 3 seconds. Ranged Strike: Dr. Mundo can hold his cleaver and charges to throw it after 0.5 - 1.5 seconds. Channeling at maximum duration will only increase the range. Upon hitting the first enemy unit with the thrown cleaver, dealing damage equal to his **Base attack damage +[5% of his maximum health] **slows the target by 12%/14%/16%/18%/20% seconds. Cooldown: 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 seconds Range for melee strike: 200 Range for ranged projectile: 300 minimum - 500 maximum Cost: 10/20/30/40/50 HP ----- **W: [ Adrenaline Rush ]: ** Passive: Dr. Mundo receives a bonus 50%/100%/150%/200%/250% health regeneration. Active: Dr. Mundo reduces the incoming damage by 30% for 2 seconds, then after the duration ends, a chemical explosion will spread from his body in a medium radius around him, slowing nearby enemies by 30% per second. The chemical will remain on ground for 3 seconds** ( Adds a stack of Chemical Infection when the enemy steps on it ).** Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds Cost: 10/20/30/40/50 HP --- **E: [ Wallop ]:** Dr. Mundo punches a single target with his other hand, dealing bonus physical damage equal to **[6%/7%/8%/9%/10% of his total HP]** and pushing them back. Cooldown: 10 seconds at all ranks Cost: 10/20/30/40/50 HP Range: Melee --- **R: [ Masochism ]:** Dr. Mundo's brain will be chemically infected, doubles the effect of Chemical Infection and Adrenaline Rush's passives and gains a bonus 30% Tenacity for 10 seconds. Also, restores 5% of his missing health everytime he is hit by an ability power or auto attack. **( Restoring missing Hp works 50% when hit by Minions or Monsters )** Cooldown 120/100/80 Cost: 100 HP --- **Overall Conclusion:** Dr. Mundo will be a heavy juggernaunt who relies on building and stacking HP in combat. However, his theme of having the regenerating source will remain in his theme and shouldn't be sent away. Let's have a look at the Pros and Cons! **Pros:** 1) Very solid in teamfights 2) Can deal a strong amount of melee Dps by stacking HP 3) Have Slows and a good form of a crowd control in his Gallop ability 4) He can still throw a ranged cleaver 5) A gameplay that empowers his regeneration theme and forces him to get into teamfights in late game **Cons:** 1) Doesn't have any mobility 2) Grevious wounds will counter most of his gameplay 3) If not being attacked much after casting an ultimate, he won't heal as much 4) Avoidable when being chased by him, can be outplayed easily 5) Outplayable once he misses the hit from his cleaver In conclusion, With the change of his other spells and how his ultimate is changed now, DR. Mundo will be played as his madman role in Top lane and his late game will allow him to be pretty solid in teamfights, especailly with the new CC added. He will be able to play more defensive and interesting.
