: But then the champion with said ability becomes far too binary, and even the vision part is enough to make them pickban in competitive
However he is not a regular pick in Heroes, even against stealth based heroes like Nova and Zeratul

: Dont jump on the hate bandwagon just yet. Remember, theyre changing how stealth works in the assasin update. Wait and see what they do
Riot will love assassins and #LCSBIGPLAYS... like they always do.

Suprised nobody has mentioned {{item:3116}} on {{champion:74}}. Its just horrifically oppressive, more then Zyra or Azir could ever hope to be.

: It's both. He is a support champion that is played in the jungle.
: The fact that idiotic threads like these get 80 upvotes says a lot about the boards.
Or it just indicates that a lot of people are tired of Riot playing favourites with champions. We all want a level playing field for our champion but there are just some that Riot go out of their way to protect for reasons that have nothing to do with actual gameplay.

: People are still stuck with PTSD from when he was in his prime and dominating. Which is long gone.
Well explain to me why Riot seem to buff him every chance they get. The last buff was for totally no reason, especially when there are other priorities at the moment. The game has been a lot of fresher recently because of the decline of "favourites" like {{champion:64}}.

: Because one example comparing two different champions is enough to prove that, right? How about this; AP champions have higher utility than AD champions. Almost every mage has some form of hard CC/root, a lot of them being AoE, while only a few AD champs have a good amount of utility. A lot of mages have CC on par with some tanks, including but not limited to {{champion:34}} {{champion:127}} {{champion:61}} . I'd continue to argue that pretty much every support and almost every tank does primarily magic damage, but you seem to be more focused on mages, so I'll leave it there.
{{champion:41}} has a slow, {{champion:39}} has a stun and thats just two off the top of my head. So AD has just as much utility.

: Best Dragons
The best dragon is undoubtedly {{champion:136}} He'll tell you himself XD
: There's no shame in admitting you got outplayed
There is getting "outplayed" and there is getting killed by somebody who spams more mobility then what you are playing. That is not getting "outplayed" at all, that is actually having the decency and honour to NOT play something that is broken. "outplays" are based around champs that are BALANCED to begin with, not an {{champion:245}} killing a {{champion:161}} for example. {{champion:245}} clearly has more options and better mobility so its not an outplay. An "outplay" is when one is in an INFERIOR position but still manages to win. I'll use an example from my last game. {{champion:238}} gets greedy and tries to kill me {{champion:26}} with his completely broken mobility. I stun bomb him under the tower and then exhaust him and sidestep his skillshot while the tower slowly kills him. THAT is an outplay because I was in the inferior position. Assassins cannot really make outplays because they have better stats and mobility then most other champions. That is like a Sovereign Class Starship in Star Trek, destroying a Miranda Class. Its absolutely no big deal because the Sovereign is superior in pretty much every way to the Miranda. If the Miranda beat the Sovereign, that would be an "outplay."

: What champions tilt you personally?
{{champion:53}} - HATE him because even if I play safe, my ADC will ALWAYS get caught by him and give up kills. Plus his laugh is even more annoying then {{champion:99}} and just makes me angry.

: What Do You Want Changed in Preseason 7?
1. Stronger Towers - I do miss longer games with multiple turning points. At the moment, too much of the game is decided by early. Removing that awful "First Blood Turret" gold. I really would like towers to be stronger so that they become major threats, with stacking HP% damage so that tanks cannot dive under them without consequences. 2. Better AP itemisation - At the moment, I feel that AD itemisation is a lot smoother then AP. Too many AP items give cooldown reduction. 3. Lower damage/more time to react - I want to see League because less about reaction time and more about strategy. I am looking forward to seeing Riot's assassin rework as that will go a long way towards addressing this problem. Reworking champs like Katarina so that their burst is longer and has more counterplay. 4. An AD based support - I would love to see a support that is based around AD. I do like self-sufficient supports like {{champion:26}} and {{champion:43}}. So an AD based support would be awesome to take advantage of some of the more powerful AD items. 5. Dealing with tank assassins - I was actually playing Ekko as a tank support when he originally came out so it was no surprise when he became a problem. His kit is so safe and versatile and Riot need to think of a way to stop assassins building tank items. I have no idea as I'm not a game designer. 6. A "Solo Q" ranked and normal, added to the game.
: Tanks! I kinda feel like tanks are in a great spot when it comes to balance right now and most of them are super easy for new players to pick up. The real problem with tanks is that they are not as exiting to play for most players unlike flashy champions like Yasuo, Zed, Ekko etc. Take Malphite as an example; all he does is press R once every few minutes and then just stand there and take the hits while using his enhanced autos. And while this is exactly what he is supposed to do it gets really boring really fast. Maybe it could help if almost all tanks didn't have their power budget in their ultimate. Like a tank who just had a bunch of crowd control abilities, where some were skill shots. Maybe even a dash like Kleds where he would stun the first person he hit for a short duration and then be able to jump back and do it again, or maybe jump to another person to stun them and if it hits he could just keep going. Sorta like a chain-cc ability, but where he has to use his own body as a skill shot. So yea, more exciting gameplay for tanks is what I would like to see the most :3
They could redesign him to give a "rock shield" to all nearby players like Tyreal does in Heroes of the Storm since their ultimate are pretty much identical. Also, they could allow him to "create" rock terrain to block skillshots so that {{champion:157}} is not the only champion with that power while lowering his current AP ratios so that he does very little actual damage and is more about zone control, CC and Disruption. Just an idea.

: I cant stand how negative we all are towards each other
: Zilean needs some love
I would love to see Zilean changed a little bit but I doubt he will be. He's not popular enough and doesn't sell enough skins for Riot to consider doing anything to him and I say that as a {{champion:26}} main. He is nowhere near as powerful or impactful as he used to be before his rework. "Point and click bombs are toxic" - "But hey, lets give {{champion:18}} one because she's an ADC and we like ADC's more"
Ralanr (NA)
: Oh agreed. He's one of those old champions that still has high ratios on their skills (Malphite with 100% AP scaling ult for example). I don't disagree that he needs some changes, I'm disagreeing that he's inherently toxic because of having a silence burst combo like the assassins used to have.
Yeah, so maybe if he loses some of his excess damage that he doesn't need. He will seem a lot more balanced and not be as rewarded for landing his Q as he is currently.
Ralanr (NA)
: Because assassins had the unhealthy combo of silencing you and then bursting you, preventing you from doing anything in response. Blitzcrank's silence comes with his burst, so if it doesn't kill you, it'll silence you for a really short duration. It's the only thing that allows him to be useful if he fails to catch you. Could he use a rework? Sure, but he's not exactly only played by trolls. I'd imagine they'd only give him a new W and change his mana shield passive though.
Blitzcranks ult actually does a fair bit of damage and has a rather good AP ratio on it. Its surprising how much damage it does, for a essentially a "tank" support.
: I play both blitz and naut, still trying to get thresh down....the only thing blitz has going for him is the full body to body pull unlike naut which is a half and half, and thresh is just a drag. The negative side is blits doesn't have the defence naut has. He has his knock up yes, but with naut you say he puts himself in harms way...well yes but his W scales with health and if played right that shield is more ,"toxic" than blitz hook imo. If your ADC is dumb enough to not position themselves behind their minions (most vayne players) then they deserve the hook. The best counter to blitz is your minion wall. I'll tell you now I've had some really great blitz games and some horrible, the horrible ones are where the enemy stays behind their minions the while time. Also remember that hook has a rather large hit box so if your playing correctly it will hit a minion if you bait it, early game it has a high cool down. Hope some of this helps, but IMO naut is worse to deal with than blitz.
However {{champion:111}} pulls himself to the enemy, thus putting himself in danger. Blitz on the other hand, pulls enemies away from their allies which is by definition, safer then Naut.
Meep Man (NA)
: Riot can never change Blitzcrank Q to not be what it is today because it is what defines him as a champion. Same goes for Teemo R and the like. Try telling a Blitzcrank main that their Q is going to be removed or nerfed heavily. They might just slap you.
I'm not saying it should be changed, I am saying that there should be more to it then just "pull enemy" and knock up and then silence. You are already pulling the enemy away from their allies and in range of your ADC. That seems like a pretty massive benefit for one skillshot. Maybe change his knock up to a "bear hug" where he holds the enemy there but has counterplay because there is a mechanic that allows you to break free or something? Taking the silence off his ultimate would help. {{champion:91}} lost his, so why does Blitz still have it after Riot said that "Silence is toxic and lacks counterplay"?

: malzahar's passive is stupid broken and keeps him underpowered for what it gives.
I think its weird that it doesn't synergize with his kit... AT ALL. It feels like a "Tacked on" ability and doesn't compliment Malpz

: Twitch Q Nerf
This I do not agree with Riot at all. Twitch should not be nerfed... he has very specific counterplay. Normally, against Twitch, I play {{champion:26}} and then its just a case of if I can double bomb stun him as he comes out of stealth to use his ultimate. If I'm successful, he gets destroyed, if I miss or fudge it up, I die and a few others on my team do and I have nobody to blame but myself. Twitch is absolutely fine because he is such a risky pick, even {{champion:127}} destroys him if he appears near her. Ult and then bye bye. How exactly is he overpowered?
: Learn to dodge skillshots
Well that is true, of course but the problem is, that even if you dodge everything, your ADC will usually get caught and die.
Ralanr (NA)
: Hitbox issues are actually very big for a lot of champions.
I know, I am just using these as the most annoying example because if they bug and land on you... you WILL die.

: I haven't changed mains since I started playing this game {{champion:103}} #AhriFancultBanner
Because favouritism protects her from any real changes. That's hardly something to be proud of.
BIackfox (NA)
: Has anyone here forced to change their main after a Shitty Riot rework?
I used to play {{champion:26}}, {{champion:16}} and {{champion:44}} until Riot "reworked" them all and now I absolutely HATE them. Both {{champion:44}} and {{champion:26}} had point and click abilities removed because they "lack counterplay" but most assassins get to keep their point and click blinks/dashes... {{champion:245}}, {{champion:55}}, {{champion:7}}, {{champion:91}} and {{champion:238}}. The WORST insult though was {{champion:18}}, who got a point and click bomb in her rework but {{champion:26}}'s were called totally toxic and removed in his rework, ONE PATCH BEFORE! It just seemed to be total favouritism by Riot. It just seems completely hypocritical. I moved on to playing {{champion:43}} who became popular (annoyingly) and then got her R+E nerfed to the point where the MS Boost is practically useless now. She just is not as fun to play.
: why does my ADC ban my support pick...
I never preview what I'm going to play for this reason. Most ADC's start complaining because they want to play some obnoxious carry like {{champion:67}} and expect you to die for them.
Frikgeek (EUNE)
: Warmog's isn't even good on soraka, the fuck are you smoking?
Personally, I prefer {{item:3092}} and {{item:3065}} on Soraka, especially against heavy AP teams. I just feel that {{item:3069}} is a little overrated but I think thats because of personal preference (I main {{champion:26}} and {{champion:43}})
