At the VERY MOST, they are bi, but both of them are currently interested in another female character in the game. Vi isn't angry, it's more like she was or something. Vi is just a punkish lady who likes punching people (and apparently between her and Caitylnn, she's actually the "good cop" since she's the one with compassion and empathy in the duo) who may or may not be gay. .......... If any appearance of gay or any of the LGBT+ character is automatically a tokenism, yeah I can see why one can believe tokenism is everywhere. However tokenism while a thing that definitely exist, it's not so bad with LGBT+ portrayals these days since people actually try to get around distancing away from the older tokenist portrayals at least attempt to. And no matter what anyone does, any efforts would be nefariously attacked and branded as """""SJW""""" anyway; it's a complete lost cause with the audience who simultaneously demand change and then prosecute you when you do. If you want to see some real tokenism, try Asian characters in western movies. Much like that hilarious ramble in Suicide Squad that began with some dude introducing an Asian lady to the crew (and I specify that because she almost never spoke in the entire movie, an overused and frankly harmful trope of Asian women in western films for the keen-eyed viewers) with "THIS IS KATANA!! I am aware that {{champion:110}} as the darkin entity is not gay but his original character in the comic was, for no real reason other then tokenism. Taric fits the 80's perception of homosexuals as he was based off "He-man" which was a cartoon in the 80's and He-Man was very macho but sensitive, the same as Taric is. Raken and Ezreal are both closet gays, their whole mannerisms and voice lines are so over the top, you can be forgiven for thinking that they were. My argument is simply that representation for the POINT of representation is not needed. There is no need to state that a character is gay or not because nobody actually cares and people that do are not taken seriously in the first place. The majority of people do not want LGBT shoved in their face with the force of a sledgehammer where-ever they go.

I don't want to bring it up but it is still true. Since Riot became all "inclusive" (I.E. Removing Graves Cigar, Declaring Varus was gay etc) they have become negligent of the quality of their game. As a gay man myself, I do not need token representation in every bloody video game for me to play it. I am not that shallow.

In fact I'm more excited for them than I am for any new skin. It makes sense to be monetized too as explained in the blog post and hopefully since it is a paid perk it will be launched sooner than later. You want game improvements? Someone has to pay those developers and for a free game this is a great way to bring in the revenue. On that note the time it took to develop eternals couldn't necessarily have been used on other game improvements.

Assassins are Riot's way of making bad players feel like they are insanely good by performing some play with dozens of dashes and looking flashy with a high KDA so they can talk about how "OP they are." Thus, we have Pyke. Hand-crafted for certain pro team's styles and Riot's refusal to fix him despite being adamant about him only being a support for a long time. Assassins could be really fun. LeBlanc was mentioned. However, she is punishable. Pyke is almost impossible to punish if he is good enough and has no real weakness to note but will not be nerfed because he helps Riot tell the narrative that "anyone can win!!!" so less skilled players and regions can be at the top. While pro play is not a good indication of solo queue in the past, it is quickly becoming the same thing in modern day as pro play is being deconstructed for Call of Duty style twitch-reflex matchups rather than tactical play. The more this happens, the more solo queue becomes a fiesta as well. On a side note: Saying Elise is not an assassin is baffling.... Literally, that is what she does.
{{champion:60}}, {{champion:28}} etc are assassins, just assassins of a different type.

Brusiers have the same problem as assassins. Way too mobile. Personally, I kinda counter bruisers/fighters are just more tanky assassins.
: Assassins thrive off of misplays. The only world they are good in is when their opponent doesny respect them or when their opponet respects them too much. Thats why noone likes assassins because they cant admit they fucked up. If an assassin doesnt get ahead then they are pratically useless. Unlike mages that can play from behind being safes with massive aoe damage. Take a look at vladimir a mage that doesnt need an escape because he can just 1 shot the entire backline with healing. Going into a pool. And then hourglassing
Assassins thrive off anything... that is the problem. I don't know any other champion that can miss everything, Ignite + R and STILL get a kill. (I.E. {{champion:238}} )
: You are 100% wrong. If anything riot should make more changes based around pro play. Pros are the best players in the world and the game should be a balanced around them and not the iron bronze silver and gold players that think they are unstoppable gods at the game.

Agreed, some assassins have insane mobility but thats not fair to other champions in the game because it essentially means that you have no weakness outside of the usual "CC" which is a weakness of all champions and because Riot removed most of the guaranteed "point and click" CC from the game, its made CC that much harder to land, making the game even easier for assassins

Compensation simply is not needed though and defeats the point of a buff/nerf. Its just basically a power shift to disguise the problem and keep the champions popularity high so Riot can continue to milk it for money.

: Lissandra plays very similarly to tanks in that her job (theoretically) is to go in and slow/root/stun targets to get the team-fight going. Swain and Kennen also have the job of going balls-deep into the enemy and using defensive tools to keep themselves alive while doing it. Having items that make you tanky doesn't inherently disqualify you from using a keystone that does the same- that's a silly argument to make and I don't know why you brought it up. Imo a better idea would be to put a range limit on Aftershock- as in the CC'd enemy must be within X range of you in order to proc the benefit similar to Courage of the Colossus or alternatively reduce the values Aftershock gives based on how close the enemy is to you. Tanks won't care because their CC is practically point-blank. "Abusers" like Lux on the other hand will either have to let the enemy get way closer to them if they want the proc or blow their shot early and potentially miss out on it.
If that was true, Lissandra would have a reset on her E, which most assassins have, mobility resets. Without it, she cannot get out of a fight and it makes her death almost completely certain.

: Why is it your team feeding, rather than their team doing well? And why is it you doing well and not their team feeding? Maybe the entire problem is people need a mentality shift. Instead of looking at it as "My team sucks and I'm the only one doing well", try "I did well but the enemy team did better". It's a healthier mentality to have, since it drives you to be better, rather than blaming your team.
But an enemy team is rarely better because of all the busted champions and items or runes in League. That is the problem.

That still doesn't change my point. Why is her shield, the only one in the game that scales off AD and not the usual AP?

Yeah it's still a shield, but if it were just a flat ap ratio, it would be beyond trash because Riven doesn't have the capability to build AP or any items that give AP.

If you unbind the E key and you don't have conqueror you'll probably be dealing like 80 damage a hit, since most people just stack attack speed and let true damage do its job.
Then Riot could just simply buff him, an uncounterable stat should not exist just to allow people to play Yi way past the learning stages of the game. He's a low tier champion to be accessible to players but should not get players as far in ranked as he does.

I do not really see why, his extra damage would simply become AD damage which could be built against by an observant player and give the defending player a chance to react from his attacks. Besides, if you are Silver, you really should consider moving on from Yi to another champ anyway.

They were because they have always been Riot's "special child", with perhaps the most entitled playerbase in the game. We were finally seeing some mages getting used in bot that got pushed out of midlane due to assassins mobility and power and Riot had to buff all the ADC's just to keep the entitled people playing them feeling special. Oh and its not like positioning means much anymore with all the mobility available now. It was nice to see {{champion:115}}, {{champion:101}} and {{champion:161}} finally have a place again in the game.
