I made frustrated post? Nah, After 2 weeks I still feel the same and I can repeat this post many times, calmly. :) Funny how you always try to guess my feelings but miss it, just like the point of this thread. <3

: you have no clue of how games get made do you?
Funny because I work in game development actually.
: > and then this mode is full of bugs but instead of fixing them you make even more champions and other non-related-to-fixing stuff ignoring the fact how unplayable it is. TFT is unplayable? Never had a single bug Must be you
Sure, me and bunch of people reporting them on boards for weeks. And all people flaming Riot on TFT games when I play.

: except for pro players (But a lot are also included, yes that includes streamers) most people play mobas as an unintentional outlet for their anger. Mobas are fun absolutely.....to start. But it doesnt take that long before people are playing the game out of defiance rather than enjoyment. OP is a fine example of a person who actually doesnt enjoy the game, but actually enjoys the things the game can provide. Outlets. Outlets of control, anger, whatever. At its core moba games arent ever going to be something joyously fun unless youre actually...well you know, not playing the game. Those fun ass games with your friends where youre doing nothing but going against the grain of what the game wants you to do. Those are great right? Well thats mostly because of your friends. When all is said and done. Riot is doing the absolute right thing when it comes to the moba side. Why would you ever improve or fix something people inherently don't even like? That's the dumbest thing ever, instead use that as an engine to appease them just enough so that they remain blinded juuuuuuuuuust so they can't see the game they're "Trying to enjoy" was never really enjoyable for them after the first month or so. Then profit. Its genius really because its so simple. When it comes to TFT its essentially the same concept. Only now the game itself satisfies a gambling urge. Hitting that 3 star unit or 6 noble comp or whatever really gives you the orgasms you desperately crave and then you just fall into the game and forgive it while complaining about it simultaneously. TLDR: Duh. The games suck at their core. But they lure you into making your own fun. Once you realize that you'll hate the game less and like it less too.

I left SMITE long ago when they started to make horrible skins and even more horrible art related to it. SMITE in 2019 is just disgusting and pathetic. :/ Yeah, that's pretty much a sign of a dead genre if you ask me. Similar to how every MMORPG after WoW tried to copy it or marketed themselves as the "WoW Killer", there's genuinely nothing new being introduced into the genre. Even the ones that are trying to introduce new things feel super gimmicky or they're just some free2play p2w garbage.
It is not a sign of death genre, just a sign that until now everyone were lazy and not creative. Just because we have no interesting new titles in this genre for now doesn't mean the genre itself is ruined.

Also there are plenty of games coming out that will fill the competitive itch and sense of community riot has forsaken stellaris, Halo, bordelands 3 all come to mind for things im looking forward to or enjoying currently. Games where the developers dont detest you for not always lathering their poor choices in praise.
I'm waiting so much for Borderlands 3!! :) I love this game. And Cyberpunk of course. But Smite... well I tried so many times to go back to this (I was playing it at the very beginning) but it's not the same game anymore. The concept was cool but they ruined it with all that extra stuff without any good idea or design. The atmosphere in Smite is dead. And gameplay is much worse than it was at the beginning. On one hand it's complicated with all that skills, builds and 3d map but on the other hand it's not as interesting itself for me to enjoy it more than LoL match. The quality of this game didn't change much over years, they focus mostly on the shop. Even Riot makes more fixes and changes than Hi-Rez ;_;

: If you're looking for alternatives, unfortunately, there are only really three: Dota 2, Smite and Heroes of the Storm. If you don't like Dota 2, it's just the other two. Heroes of the Storm has faster games, but Smite is more like League. So....take your pick, because League and Dota have basically made it impossible for new mobas to emerge and do well.
Also I am aware that right now LoL and Dota are just the main "dishes" out there but I personally don't think that MOBA genre will be all that and nothing more. There are still people here who wait for something new with similar gameplay style. I know personally a lot of people who want to play MOBA but they are so over LoL and hate this game not because of genre but because of Riot's behavior. Let's just hope that Cyberpunk and Borderlands are not the only hot titles that are coming and that actually some new multiplayer titles will go out too. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}

I know all of the 3 and sadly, it's hard to call them "alternatives". DOTA2 is totally not in my style, I tried it once and I just can't get the atmosphere. :( Smite is a big joke. I have a history with Hi-Rez, they were very cool at the very beginning, they supported people who promoted the game and really tried to make something new. Sadly something went wrong - they started to copy LoL and other games, even illustrators copied other people's work, they started to make awful skins and just make a bunch of trash for sell as often as possible. I was so disgusted with this that I left. HOTS was cool for a while but it's easly to get bored. Gameplay is much simpler and the game itself is very flat. It looks like Blizzard just said "oh let's make our MOBA since people seem to like it". But since Overwatch is more interesting then they just left HOTS and focused on other things.
: They had Little Legends all set up before players got to touch the game mode. That speaks for itself.
You know I can understand that they want to make money - it's a company and it needs money to work but come on, in past 2 years all they do is making useless things and almost 0 to improve the actual game. I'm actually happy with TFT idea and that's why I am totally crushed that they don't even test it properly and fix before making ranked games. Does Riot have testers? I don't think so, because every time something new is coming it's bugged somehow. They just don't care... And since we don't have any alternative for now, we just follow blindly and accept the state of the game, that has nothing in common with balance or fairness.
: it really does look like riot is trying to create as much frustrating things as possible to have their players leave. i just cant explain it otherwise. noone can.
ikr? I reported so many bugs in those few months - more than in my whole LoL career (7-8 years?). And after 2-3 patches most of the bugs are still here. :( And surprise! New champions, new maps and new legend's skins. ;_; Same with TFT missions - the old one dissapeared and I lost all my points, and I was so close to get the new map color. Ehhh..
: New moba? The genre is pretty dead only lol and dota 2 remain, smite is on life support and the greed of activision fucked hots.

I don't like DOTA2. I prefer to wait and see if something new is coming. With fresh view and ideas.

: stop giving me first/2nd pick
I suggest in that case to pick something that is not obviously top. I'm doing it when I play mid. :P
: As someone who plays a fair amount of Yuumi, she should not exist
I would say her early is very bad... If adc dies, she dies with him because people don't pick flashes and she has no escape if there is no one around. I'm always picking ap supports and am very agressive. She is unable to poke because adc is afraid to come close to farm. The pressure in early kills this support and make him useless in mid game. Yuumi becomes stronger only in late when she is able to attach to a tank or fed assasin.

: Trollers
I wrote under another post that I regulary report with tickets people who int and they claim they are doing it on the chats, same goes with AFKers. None of them was punished. At least not with game bans (chat bans are pretty stupid if someone is punished for trolling not for verbal abuse). It makes me sad and annoyed because I myself was perma baned 1,5 year ago for "using 3rd party softwares" (no, I did not use any programs, I never ever ever cheated in ANY game in my life, but it doesn't matter now) - Riot had no proof, they didn't tell me which software it is, I was maining a freaking healer support and my scores were not THAT good, there was totally no logical thing about all of this but they still perma banned me without at least 1 warning and refused to talk to me about it. But when you give them UNDER THEIR FACES a proof that someone is intentionally losing ranked games they do nothing about it. On EUNE I got once chat restriction on few games because I told my trolling jungler (also he admitted that he trolls) that he is f**ing stupid and he ruined game for us. But hey, Riot says "be positive", "teamwork matters" and all that rainbow stuff. I know the right place for it.
: I'm Disappointed Over the New Battle Boss Skins
Vel'koz and a nice, cool skin? NO WAY. (Still waits for a vel'koz skin that actually is worth any money)
: If you're not willing to build vs the problem, don't complain about it.
Same goes with picks in lobby. If you are 4-5th pick and you choose to pick another paper champion, seeing enemy is full of tanks and assasins don't complain that our teamfights sucks. :P I saw it too many times lately in silver.

: Maybe you should re-read....... Situation 1: in short AFK player looses the max LP no matter what. Situation 2: You still lose LP for losing but that amount differs depending on how you were graded in that match. (Rewarded for at least playing well) {{sticker:zombie-brand-clap}} You should read more than the title. If you have any suggestions to improve this aspect of the game in solo queue and make it an even greater experience then lets hear it.
Telling me to learn to read while himself can't read. Funny.
Pyrosan (NA)
: The argument Riot's made against this kind of thing is that all everyone would have to do is pressure and be toxic to one individual to go AFK, since they believe they're going to lose anyway they might aswell get their own loss deducted, it's too inconsistent of a system to be implicated so I support Riot on not adding it unless they can counter-act that aspect
This argument is so stupid xD Where is the logic here? So team will make one person go AFK by flame (risking being banned for flame) to lose less LP than normally? I want to know the name of the genius who said that. {{sticker:zombie-brand-facepalm}} This kind of situation maybe will happen like once on 100 games or less. And still team with AFK deserves less LP for lose because the afking person could just mute everyone and play.
: Matchmaking is so bad that I could probably int and it would look normal
I used to play only support on soloQ because it's my fav role. I had to learn to play mid/jgl because I was unable to do anything in mid/late game even after I won bot. Also when you play with random adc you can get an amazing player like I got today: Meet "everything is stupid" Tristana: I took Yuumi, I was sure it's going to be a cool combo. Tristana died very fast (jumping on enemy Draven into enemy minions). Aaaand it started: "useless yuumi", "why you took so stupid champ", "gg we lost". She died again, I'm sure this time she wanted to kill me while I was inside so I stopped to jump into her. She kept jumping in and dying until she had 6 deaths. I decided to go with my fed jungler to help him out. Sadly we lost because they had fed Draven who pushed like a madman and really good team. :/ So I decided to never took Yuumi in soloQ, because I can't do anything with a bad or trolling adc. I am picking more offensive champs or Soraka because of a good silence and ult for team. And it goes better. :)
: In all my years of frusteration and enduring aids in the top lane, NOTHING compares to Tahm Kench.
It reminded me my last ARAM game with Tahm... 5 people (including 2 adc and 1 ap) were hitting him and he was destroying our inhibitor. He was able to survive 5 PEOPLE attacking him. We were hitting him whole day until he finally died. Like wtf. Even if someone is very fed I can understand that 2 people can't kill someone, or even 3. But whole team? And yes we had armor pene. I played lots of tanks and even with great stats and good build I coudn't survive SOLO 5 people hitting me, no matter what. It's just so sad...
Tiamek (NA)
: Turrets are useless
I don't mind that someone has bigger range. I mind that some people can tank tower at level 4-5 for 3 hits and still survive it... I understand that in late you can dive etc. But it's stupid that people can dive you on 3rd lvl and kill easly AND survive and run away...
