dont look at their rank, it's a mostly arbitrary border. it means nothing until you've played a ton of games if that bronze 1 dude was in a game with golds then he was on a winstreak and he probrably will be earning 33+ lp and catching up but i do find it funny that he loses once and the first thing you thought was that he must be lucky and got boosted. i tried finding the game in your op.gg, but it isn't there. very annoying.

: Zhonyas hourglass, Dashing, shielding, janna R, poppy r, Tristana R, Xin R, Poppy E, Lee R, QIyana R, Vayne E, Taliyah w, Thresh E, azir R, ziggs w, (theres more but I'm too lazy to list) flash, exhaust or any displacement that pushes diana away or keeps her in place. Those are all counterplay compared to her smashing RWQ passive into her keyboard. You have a full second to react to it, before, you had no time. There is way more counterplay. Diana was AOEing teams with higher damage way before now (unless you somehow pull 3 or more people on the enemy team). Not to mention on a lower effective cooldown. (18 seconds vs 80 seconds) Play like her like you would against malphite, neeko, amumu, mf. Don't clump. If the above examples I've listed are not counterplay, tell me how?
most of those don't work, the damage lands way before some of those animations go through, thats the point. being forced to buy a specific item to counter something is not counterplay, especially since some can't even buy it, who buys mercurial scimitar as a mage, and who buys zhonyas without having ap ratios? you can ask mordekaiser about this, and the other thing is diana gets to reposition the second part of her R. i saw the highlights on youtube, some you listed never had the chance to respond after the first part of her ult. and malphite,neeko amumu and mf are all skillshots or require another ability of theirs to land which is also a skillshot, diana is point and click. malphite got nerfed for it too we don't count flash, same reason we don't count flash for malphite, he wouldn't be nerfed if that was acceptable.
Moon Mom (NA)
: 1. Diana has had her single target damage gutted. (passive and E damage halved) 2. It's only higher than her live damage if she pulls 3 or more people. 3. The uptime on this damage is severely lowered compared to live. She fits closer to a mage's paradigm in terms of cooldowns now (based on her being gated by ult for big engages / damage). 4. To compensate for earlier access to mobility, her shield uptime was nerfed, opening more windows early game. If she opts to max w, she has no waveclear through q. This iteration of Diana is miles balanced than her old version of 'stat check any enemy champion from the fog of war every 20 seconds with RWQ passive.
she has a zero counterplay ultimate now, you cannot dodge the 2nd part of her R or the first part. she went from oneshotting 1 person to oneshotting a team, and riot calls that a successfull mini-rework. let alone the fact she's supposed to be an ap bruiser. idk about early game, but i don't want a diana on the enemy team in late game. i dont want my team to have to deal with that bullshit. i just so happen to play one of the few champions that can ignore her ulti.

: Position 100% does matter if they have a champion that can oneshot you. If you understand their "range of effect" they can never hurt you. A good example is darius, if you get into E range of a darius it's a free kill for him. If you never get in his E range he can never kill you. An 0/12 singed doesnt win games, he gets carried to wins. He just helps by being the lightest he possibly can in the carry effort.

it's all circumstancial man. you're not wrong but different things apply to different champions and matchups and mmr. you're always going to chase if the gold is more important to you than them and / or if it's guaranteed kill (shutdown gold). positioning doesn't matter if there's a oneshotter on the enemy team, they'll get you in your fountain if they really want to. team mates are less reliable in lower elo, so anything you do that's based off your team mates reacting weighs differently for champions and mmr. not drawing pressure by not extending makes it free for the enemy to ignore your lane and help another lane stomp. in this day and age even having the audacity to place a ward and gain vision for your protection could get you deleted if they just so happened to be nearby. you could lose lane and go 0/2, but make a play and win you basically make up so much of the difference in gold right then and there. not taking any risks or trying anything also makes your skill stagnant. if you don't try anything you'll never get better and even if you climb this way you'll ultimately be the reason you lose later down the line, because you couldn't keep up yasuo 0/12 powerspike is a meme, but singed 0/12 wins games is real shit. does any of this make sense? idk anymore i need sleep

well, if you have no ranged attack it means you will always take damage even trying to get rid of his turret, he gets movement speed around those turrets aswell, he has cc, he has insane range with his W if he builds seekers armguard, it upgrades into best item in the game whilst gaining stats with stacks. if you buy the ad equivalent hexdrinker you are buying the component of the worst item that doesn't even stack. ap items are cheaper than the items top laners would build. magic resist itemization is garbage and magic pen is too strong, if you upgrade oblivion orb you get grievous wounds. which is always usefull range has an innate advantage over melee. with turrets up its 1v4 potentially. he will autopush with turrets though, making him a bit easier to gank, but he can still easily oneshot a jungler that isn't tanky if you enter his zone without dodging his E. a bunch of reasons. to be honest it's just the age old range vs melee. except now it's mostly ap range top lane that's just unbearable. ad range like jayce and gnar aren't that big of a deal.

thats what happens when a ranged adc gets their own CC(knockback + stun if into wall) + the ability to run a melee down with passive and a low cd dash, and invisibility to top it all off. tristana can do similar things with her W reset mechanic and her ulti which tells you to fk off backwards half a lane kalista in theory can do similar things with her jumping every attack. actually this way it kinda sounds like the ranged adc have more going for them than the melee ones (trynd, yasuo, udyr, trundle) shit thats the only 4 i could think of, and only 1 of them has a single ranged attack
: Not to the same extent. Shaco isn't like Kha, Eve, or Rengar. He has the ability to do this pre-6. Even then, Shaco has less counterplay in his ganks. Rengar warns an area, Eve drops a charm on your head, and Kha's invisibility often doesn't last long enough for him to go unseen by both you and the ward. It's also much harder to detect Shaco in comparison to Lee, Jarvan, and even Kayn who reveals himself on walls. You won't see Shaco until Shaco is literally atop of you. Out of every jungler, I feel that Zac and Twitch are the only two that can compare to his ability to go undetected.
shaco indeed isn't like the other assassins, since shaco doesn't pop in, pop you and then fuck off all in a matter of 2 seconds, unless you're in his E kill range. if he's so determined to kill you there's a 50/50 chance he'll die doing it (Ulti) and then another chance because he's stuck in whatever position until his Q's back off cd can't really say the same for the others you listed, their warning is more just a ''99% chance of death incoming". except for kha'zix, but let's just say that if shaco still needs nerfs, then kha'zix still needs gutted and then cooked, given some hope and then crush that until finally after a couple months/years/eternity he evolves into a different kind of bug :)

so what it comes down to is you don't want shaco to be a champion? tell your support to take early oracles if it's support shaco, as long as you don't get pushed in all day long he wont be using his boxes much. there shaco isn't a champion anymore. when i play shaco support and i see the enemy come back to lane lvl 3 with oracle lens i already start hating life, even more so if it's range support. later in the game randomly coughing in a direction will blow up any visible boxes, like they have lower health than the spammable heimerdinger turrets. the difference between surviving a shaco and qiyana for example is that you can use your brain against shaco, but for qiyana you basically pray that she is garbage at the champion, much like riven and akali too. well whatever happens, once all the sweaty meta sheep stop playing him he can exist as he is currently. only support seems to be AP too, in the jungle it's AD. but that makes sense pickign anything other than (cheap) ap or tank items in support is trolling, unless you're pyke i guess. shaco is the only champ in the game i can think of off the top of my head who has 1 or 2 abilities pretty much hard countered by free item and 75g, which are all accessible at the start of the game. he really shouldn't be as much of a problem as people make him seem. shaco is about on the middle of my list as champions i'm concerned about dealing with, far below other assassins and mages

Dark harvest works fine as an off-meta keystone for many champions. i believe op.gg only shows statistics for korea ranked, it's not a good source for data.

Someone said "guaranteed crit" and all hell broke loose. you also remember when every rework/new release was basically instantly pick/ban in proplay or soloqueue or anywhere for the past year or 2? don't blame people for being skeptical about it, it's not like riot actually knows how to nerf a champion thats clearly broken on release, they pussyfoot around it for a while, so everyone still has to deal with it. it's only when they're weak that they get buffed instantly. or when the champ hasn't been properly tested yet. yuumi is a good example akali is still walking circles around so many champs and she's been nerfed like 5 times and had probrably 5 different things stripped from her kit. imagine what she was like on release if the players were as good on her back then as they are now. senna has to begin that process soon, and i can't wait for the roller coaster. i hope she turns out OK and doesn't require much, since i kinda want to play this champion.

: That's the problem with Garen's rework: he still has his 30% Move speed buff on Q, is building move speed from Inspiration, and is building a lot of the same items as those adcs/yasuo now. In other words, he has more move speed than they do, on top of silencing and dps increases from attack speed. It's no longer a rule of "don't get near him." It's nor a rule of "ban him because he WILL get near you." It's easy to claim the distance/poke still exists, but all he has to do in a poke lane atm, is to turret until he has his first couple half items, and save his Flash for an all in. This is why he's currently performing 54% mid lane now. Just wait for the right time to Flash > Silence and instant kill. If we were talking about pre-rework, I'd agree with you. yes but garen was just mini reworked. he's the exception to the rule now. also that combo has a 5 minute timer with flash, i assume that you can put in some work during that. just gotta have some extra respect for the garen. my elo is low enough to not have it be too much of an issue, but ranged top are still annoying to deal with
: You do realize it works the other way too? Garen/Urgot gets ganks, and THEY put a hole in top lane. They also often are able to 1v2 the opposing jungle ganks. Jayce on the other hand requires the ganks to even have a chance.
they do it by hugging your body to death because that's where they function best. jayce and other ranged champs do it from distance. melee's are the ones that require a gank to have a chance, you know for being at a disadvantage from the start. you never walked up to a minion lose half your health and wonder what you could have done to trade damage with him?

: His mains were not reaching 51% WR's. I remember checking and many of his highest elo players(all who had played him 100+ games and this was early in the ranked season) had 80% WRs on him. The fucker did *not* need buffs. nah, melee champions feel pretty fair with it. since they don't buld spooky ghosts that procs glacial half a map away and hextech glp the 2nd longest range active item in the game right after spooky ghosts. they have to use things like righteous glory or cutlass(botrk) if you're blessed to be an auto attack champion, ah and gunblade for all the ad/ap champions that have multiple scalings but really just ap building champions. above all they would also sacrifice damage or defenses for a 40% slow on an auto attack, so they'll have a huge disadvantage in lane without having the safety of range or convenient items to build

Are you 100% sure about that? i mean i know this too, but what the system considers valid or invalid nobody knows. i think it learns as it does it's job too, so things can go wrong aswell. perhaps, but you know what i meant. what is toxic to you, might not be that toxic to me. i've seen things i don't consider toxic being banned, and consequently in their reform ticket game 1/2/3. he went something ridiculous like 0/18 or something. basically vs riven challenger riven main smurfing in diamond, whilst being hardcamped. basically the enemy team tried very hard to get him killed. and obviously he picked a champion first time, doesn't really know how to go about it after getting destroyed so hard. ultimately even though he was tilted as hell, he still tried to win. banned for 2 weeks anyway. i'm pretty sure that was a ban for feeding. at the time it was a controversial topic. you can look it up, the threads are an interesting read if you have nothing to do.

hah i very much doubt that, try to keep that going for a while. i don't want to know howmany people have reported me for picking offmeta, for feeding, for being abandoned by the team, for not teamfighting as a tryndamere, etcetc. list goes on and on. also there's this new thing called soft-inting apparently, because there is also a way to not really int, but still kinda int. r%%%%%ed shit like that will eventually get you banned. all you need is enough reports. now imagine being piss poor dogshit, this means you always lose lane probrably and then have insane x/xx/x scores almost everygame. or god forbid you write something that Buddha might barely find toxic and you'd be at risk already. or replying to actually toxic people... never tell those to fuck off idk if this system dumps your reports after a long time as reports from 2-3 years ago should never be valid anymore, but once the number get high enough i dont doubt for a second it would eventually flag you for a ban. the game would just have to be bad enough. look at that hashinshin's victor game. dude obviously wasn't inting, yet got 2 week banned anyway. that video alone should just be proof that having a really bad game even while tryharding can get you banned very easily

don't see the problem? can be annoying lvl 1 in the jungle, otherwise nothing changed. you sidestep his hook in the first place so what's the difference? extra range only really matters in pvp if you are the kind of person who dodges skillshots by running out of their max range instead of just sidestepping. also 10/10 good job posting data from less than 48 hours after a patch. super big brain and completely utterly 100% accurate ofcourse, paint a perfect picture too. edit: i took a look at u.gg, turns out in platinum and below he's 53-54% winrate, but in diamond and higher he is under 49%. turns out by having the ability to sidestep he loses more than he wins, who would have thought.

Veigar skews this a good bit because it essentially boosts his passive a lot more. i'm pretty sure most actual front liners pick tenacity rune over mercs so they can take tabi's for best of both world. frontliners aren't just tanks either they come in all forms and as i've said before nobody builds mercs just for veigar i'd rather take the tenacity rune with tabi's so my top lane partner, jungle partner or enemy adc doesn't murder me hard. the day knock ups or displacements are affected by tenacity is the day all frontliners rush merc threads. and the core mistake you mentioned is running into the cagewall in the first place, asmuch as veigar's cage is complete bullshit you can avoid damage and cc by running around in the middle. if you're actually somewhat decent you avoid the CC in the first place so buying merc threads for veigar is the mistake. i'll trust you on the dcap > void thing. it's all situational anyway.
