: You Know What I Hate The Most About Jungling?
I play prefer to play Support to Jungle right now, because it's more enjoyable to play as Zyra or Brand than to suffer through all the punishments Season 10 decided to bring upon the role.
: The biggest problem with League of Legends is you.
I don't even have the willpower to disagree with your offensive language, because I've lost so many games to leavers over the last few years. Because of Riot's lack of action I can only get more and more hateful to the people who leave every third game or so. Today there was a Swain who was actually astonished that we couldn't understand the importance of the IRL thing that suddenly happened to him and will go all the way and report him. There were no leavers in S2/S3. Maybe some ragequitters, but first, every leave was recorded on your profile as a badge of shame for life and second I think that Riot weren't so lenient with the bans back then. You can say that it's bad because people don't even ragequit now most of the time - they simply decide to leave or not play after game start(but prevent us from remaking still).

: Why is Poro King now random champions?
Because Riot listens to the community. Last year the community complained about the same picks so riot made it AR. Next year they will revert it because of this year's complaints. This is the definition of listening to the community.
: from all my heart. riots balance team is extremly extremly bad at their job.
To be fair, sometimes I prefer them releasing just new champions with the kit they want to push, instead of deleting an existing one to replace it. Not only there are people who actually enjoy to play the old kit, but it often happens that the new kit is overbearing, leading to countless nerfs after which you're stuck with a kit that's both not viable and you don't really like playing.

: I just...I just don't know how to win at league anymore...
The random nature of matchmaking definitely peaked this year, as someone who has went for Gold in all but two seasons(one of which I didn't have a single game in), I just don't feel like grinding the X number of games needed for luck to balance itself out, so I can get Gold IV which at best is a recognition that you have basic understanding of this game's mechanics. It was bad last three seasons, but at this point I just feel like I'm throwing my time away to get a simple sticker of recognition. Why? I'm not having fun being matched into games where either the enemy team, or my own, lacks understanding of even the concept of pushing for towers let alone anything more. At this point I'm not playing League, this is something else... it's not comparable even to Season 1 when nobody had a clue about the game and everyone were just fighting for up to a hour(this is why those games were so long by the way) - everyone who were better got kicked off to higher Elo/MMR in no time. You can say the matchmaking system is not really trying to match players in a close MMR range(Faker). You can say that it's harder to carry alone in the present state of the game. You can say that Riot is rigging the matchmaking. But the true reason doesn't really matter - what's important is that you can't chase **rank** or **fun **in games at this point in time.

Wait, are we seriously going against one of the only viable defensive options in the game? The thing is, these days that's the level of defence you need to make such an option viable.

Inb4 some awful purple mess called Dark Star Skarner/Xerath.
: Is Riot trying to change the support role ?
Hopefully. Hopefully also one day the meta will really be allowed to transition into different comps with different positions than what we've been using for the last 8-9 years. I think that Riot are working on this, but the only way to do it without forcing a big playerbase exodus is a slow and painful change.

: Because she historically barely used the ability defensively? Most of the times it was used to stack her Passive and surprise opponents with Ult Stun (or Buff Tibbers). Its defensive part could help sometimes, but it was barely used in that scope. And you can't tell me you don't see how a boost of movement speed can be helpful on a champion such as Annie, who engages almost every fight for her team. Moreover, take into account that she maxes her E last, meaning that she gets 8% less Damage reduction for 50% decaying Bonus Movement Speed for most of the game. The CD increase will slow her Passive stacking while barely affecting her Teamfight potential (unless you really want to rush max CDR on her). Any major boost in her engage potential is dangerous and Riot is apparently aware of that with these changes. Considering they also removed the Enrage on Ult Engage, they also nerfed her damage quite a bit, not only her defensive power. Besides, that movement speed boost may help more in dodging skills than absorbing them.

If that's going to be the standard, for accepting someone doing that shit to you from your own team, then no one has the right to complain in those matches about you feeding or other similar things. Well, depending on how broken the champion is in a given patch, I can see why they do it. Sometimes the situation is, you've lost several games in a row against a known broken pick or ban champ, but your last pick teammate is really hoping that nobody will lock it before him. And if that champion is picked by the enemy team you have at least two losers - your teammate still can not play his own champ, but now you are also about to go on a tilt because things happened exactly like you predicted. If you lose that game it could possibly ruin your whole day. In cases like this I think that it's balance to blame, and not toxicity.

Before League was remotely popular, way before it became really popular** due to Pro Play**, I had only three champs in my account and I already knew that Zilean didn't require much mechanical play to do his job(back then his Q was point-click champion targeting), but if I wanted to succeed at Ezreal I had to get my **** together and, well, git gud. This philosophy has been part of League before Pro play was even a thing, so such a compromise has no basis to stand on.

I really don't think that we can reasonably expect chromas to be free if the fighting game is F2P.
: "We won't make video about rework champion " What you mean is we YOU are too lazy to actually work.
To be fair, at this point I find it almost pointless to do spotlights, as sometimes they're irrelevant just one year after their release because of how common mini-reworks are(sometimes even for new champions or straight reworked ones). It's pretty annoying actually.

You can't do it, because in Solo Queue's toxic environment allied honor would not be given in at least half the games. And really, can you blame players? So often you are forced to choose between honoring an inter, a really bad player, a flamer and a passive aggressive one if you want to progress in the Honor system.

: If they do decide to keep this map, they make a lot of players happy. Even people that don't play twisted treeline, they will just be happy that Riot is at least listening to us and making changes to make even their smaller fanbase happy. If it is about money then still, there are plenty of people that spend hundreds to thousands on this game that only play twisted treeline so if they removed the map, they also remove income from those people. Heck, I already held off on buying all the new project skins I was preparing for because there would be no point if I only get to use them for a couple of months. They don't even need to update the map, just let us continue playing on it like normal and everything will be fine. I hope they reconsider removing twisted treeline just like they did for the legacy cursor. I personally didn't care about it at all but it was nice to see them change it back in because people wanted it.
It's actually sad that they are removing it simply because they see it as an eyesore to the company's image, because of its lack of success. Financially it doesn't cost them nearly anything to keep the mode running.

: Hard Reset Ranked preferable? Solo Queue actually solo?
I think that in over 9 years of matchmaking experience Riot has enough data working in the interest of Duo Queue. Probably enough people playing solely with friends that Riot would lose more revenue by getting rid of them, compared to getting rid of the solo players who can't accept the Duo presence. Also matchmaking times.
: I don't think you understand the concept of "this champ gets 2 skins 6 months apart from each other while this one's going on 4 years". Popularity isn't the problem, it's them spaming popular champs as hard as they do. When does the money and time spend on popular champs trickle down to the unpopular ones? : For a brief moment, I was excited for PROJECT: Syndra
I wonder how many of the "forgotten champions" mains are ready to pay a way higher price for a new skin for their champs - after all Riot needs to make their money out of the investment. But I bet that this would actually outrage the mains more than ever before. Riot can afford to release two Lux skins a year, because there's enough Lux player to buy them. But when a fraction of their number plays, say, Skarner, they need to give a (much)bigger window between releases, to make sure enough of his old mains are ready to shell out money again and there's enough new players to buy their first Skarner skin. You think _"Hey there's 22,000 people playing Skarner in the world"_(110,000 games for current patch, let's give 5 games a patch to any potential skin buyer), but statistically 1% of a champion's player base is responsible for 99% of the skin purchases. That makes for about 220 potential skin buyers. If the skin costs 1350, that makes for about $2750 revenue(actual profit is even lower after taxes) and this assumes that no one would wait for skin discounts. Of course this doesn't consider people like Nightblue3, who buy skins for champions they play once a year. But he's also not on the forums complaining for lack of Skarner skins. My example figure tries to picture how much would Riot make if they did listen to these requests, and while it does make a lot of assumptions, you can even feel implications of potential losses. People seem to forget that **Riot profits off of skins for the most part** and that they should play smart their main revenue stream. There's 37 Lux mains for each Skarner main. I wonder what players would do if the livelihood of the world's biggest game weighed on their shoulders. Lower down quality of unpopular champions skins to lower production costs? Increase RP price?

Imagine the implications for a potential queue time in case you have to wait to get your role then. If you can't get into a game for over 40 minutes, would you feel like playing more than you do now? I would say that's a tricky question.

: Rewards For Doing Badly > Rewards For Doing Well
From my experience people who are in the top spots are usually those who have full 2-star Champions in early rounds and early 3-star Champions. And how **hard** do they really try? It's more along the lines of getting those pair and triplet Champion rolls than betting all on a few key re-rolls that make or break your game. While there are the close games where nobody's 90+ HP and crits decide the winners, I don't really think that people who are already winning in a natural manner need any more help. Yes, it feels **** to wait and watch as every remotely good Item/Champion is being picked away, but let's face it - does it really feel any better to see how the top players pick Draven/Swain or Recurves and you know that you might as well afk and do something actually productive?
