I keep asking for an open match-making algorithm...... if we could SEE that it is not rigged, no one would complain about it. if we could see some clear flaw, we could at least point to them and ask for a change. I stopped ranked this season, after being platinum every season since s4, because match-making is absurdly bad now. I think personal performance use to decide 80% of games, now it decides 20%. 80% are free win / free loss, in 20% you can make a difference. It's hard to keep try harding 100% of the time in that situation. And even if you do, you need HUNDREDS of games to climb, little by little..... it's terribly frustrating.

Jax also takes 25% reduced damage from all champion area of effect abilities. After 1 second, Jax can reactivate to end it immediately. with some CDR, the cooldown is 4 seconds, that is, only 2 seconds off since it lasts 2 seconds. he is 2 sec on E, 2 sec off, 2 sec on, etc. Not only you can't aa him, but also he takes 25% reduce damage from AOE, and he stuns + damage you at the end. So I guess in theory, to counter him, you need to 1. not be a aa reliant champion and 2. not do AOE spell, but single target spell. Also, I guess you need to have some range + an escape in case he jump+stun you. Which champion is spell reliant, from decent range, and got some escape? I guess {{champion:8}} can use Q + sanguine pool if being dived. if you're looking for a support... maybe {{champion:12}} ? he can Q, W, E, and R to tank for a while if needed {{champion:117}} can turn him into an inoffensive rabbit {{champion:78}} can R him, or push him away, or stop his jump {{champion:40}} can R, or bump him, or slow him {{champion:9}} can instant fear I agree Jax is OP.

Typical jungle life!!! Well put. It used to be somewhat okay in previous seasons, because jungle exp and gold was much higher, if laners struggled like that you could still be a carry. But this season, if you don't steal lane cs, jungle is 3 level behind and 3000 gold behind, similar to a support, and can't do much. You're entirely reliant on laners. That's why I stopped ranked this season. I mained jungle since season 4. Match-making joke + jungle nerf got me

: Just play a lock down support like blitz, naut, thresh, ect, or just learn to dodge his hooks since it's usually a Q+E combo that'll screw you. He's not too hard to counter if you just play smart and don't try to pick nami or soraka into him. Also pyke is a "I go in and if I don't kill, I'll wait to do it again" champ, kinda like riven, yas, and jax, except he doesn't go conqueror. As for the "dash in without a care in the world" that's a pretty false statement, any pyke knows never to dash into anyone unless they're near execute range, plus people actually asked for something other than tanks and healers in bot. People wanted bot to be more dangerous and make you realize your error when it happens, pyke doesn't have to lose anything, you just gotta learn to adapt or buy a grevious wounds item since it "reduces health regeneration" meaning it applies the reduction to the dark health, so instead of 25% to 70%, it becomes 25% to 40% (give or take level)
if you grab him, he can just dash + invisibility + stun you, and even if you somehow managed to damage him for 90% of his health during the grab CC, he will be back to full life 2 sec later

Yeah it's worse than ever. I've been platinum since season 4 on OCE, EUW and NA, and servers were similar... I had the feeling that whether I played good or bad would influence 80% of the games (with 20% being decided regardless of my performance). This season, I feel like I can influence 10% of games, and 90% are decided by the 9 other players, regardless of what I do I win or lose. It's just too awful, especially when you invest 1 our 2 hours a day in league, having to work or do other stuff the rest of the time. You want your daily 1 or 2 games to be good. But when they are repeatedly awful because of match-making........ it's just not worth the time investment. I just play ARAM now. Where I don't care of match-making. I gave up on rank.

The introvert loves being alone because he can enjoy being in his mind more easily. Introvert can enjoy social activities as it gives more material for reflection, but too much can be exhausting as it can force to shut down imagination (in order to be more reactive to the environment). Extrovert usually enjoy social activities because it means they can just be all out, and can interact with an active environment. Extrovert can be asocial, but then I figure they need to do something, like say, an active extreme sport where you constantly have to react (like going down a hilly woody mountain in ski)

Honestly I think the only way to enjoy competitive (ranked) league of legends is to play as 5 premade, period. You can't trust match-making. You'll be able to make a change 10% of games, in 90% you can't help it, your team or enemy team will snowball and win regardless of what you do. To climb, you need to make a difference in those 10% games that matters. And it takes times, it's frustrating and most of the time unfair. find 4 mates to play with you, or go play some ARAM............ I am sorry, but that's just how it is

Here how I am feeling about this issue: I feel like if OP gets a permaban, almost 50% of playerbase should get a permaban. What I am reading as the definition of "soft inting" here, dying a lot basically without trying hard, but not literally running it down mid, I see it all the time. And yes, it kills most of my ranked games and I hate it. But it would be unfair to ban OP without banning so so many others. I actually stopped ranked this season, after being platinum for 4 seasons, because I can't deal with it anymore. I am fed up with that "soft inting" that I see every other game, whether on my team or enemy team, on both cases it makes the game boring, one sided and uninteresting. I want my 30-60 min long game to be worth it. I don't want to have a 0/20/0 player in my team or in the enemy team, it feels like a waste of time. And on top of that, it's annoying to try hard when 70% of the games, you're a non-factor since someone in your team or enemy team decides to soft int and decides the game for a side. Once every 10 games or so, I actually have a great game where everybody plays seriously, and where if I play great I can make a difference and win, or if I play bad I make a difference and lose. And it that situation, climbing takes AGES. Moreover, say you're winning 30 LP for a win and losing 10 LP for a loss (because you're in a lower elo than your own, like after placements), well you'll climb fast for a while toward your elo.......... until you get that 10 loss streak due to pure back luck. then you'll be stuck at winning 17 LP, losing 22 LP for the rest of the season. Just because of some randomness. It SUCKS.

I wish we could see the hitbox of spell on wiki. Nidalee q hitbox is ridiculous, the spear can literally go through you. In the meantime, Fizz R, for example, can be waaay away and still touch you. Many skillshot hitbox are actually broken too wide, Nidalee is quite low. Is there a website where we can see hitbox? It says this on wiki "COLLISION RADIUS: 20", but I don't see that for Zoe q for example

She also can cancel Warwick ult with her E. I wonder how it works: Warwick can't be interrupted while jumping, and Ahri can't cast E while suppressed. I have heard that there is somehow a slight delay, and if she presses E just before Ww R touches her, it is still going to touch ww after ww suppresses her. However, on wiki, it is said nowhere that there is a small delay. So all in all, I am not sure if it is a mechanic of Ahri allowing her to outplay opponents or a bug. But regardless, it does make her stronger (and ww weaker). There are a bunch of stuff like that, that can cancel ww R in a weird way (and it can be game changer)

You have to travel to enemy location, so in most situations mid late you can't use it as you will be instantly one shotted by enemy team as you go to their position. What is a shield for in that situation? I would actually understand your complain when the shield was in E1 which was a free dash, but in a dangerous gap closer as E2? Your claim is ridiculous. No wonder why he is getting buffed next patch. (BTW Malphite ult does way more damage than Sylas E2 and is an AOE hard CC, therefore it has 1000 range as it is more impactful. Amumu has a 1100 range, indeed, but his stun last longer, therefore he has less range as his stun is more impactful. Unable yet to understand the pattern?) So once again, he is not hypermobile as his mobility is restricted. He is not tanky as his whole defensive tool is extremely situational. You want more numbers? 42% WR in mid lane 40% WR in top lane I am not even going to bother mentioning other lanes. He is only decent in LCS because of his R cd and how it can be exploited in professional team play (not because of his kit as you wrongly claim) which is only 0.01% of the playerbase. So, in any case, he needs buffs and he will get them next patch and next one regardless of wether you enjoy them or not.
Look man, I understand that from your (awkward but I respect) perspective, he is immobile and squishy. I'm sorry but he probably won't get many buffs because he is OP in pro play, but you seem to love the champion and I wish you success on him =)

The so called double dash is a short dash for E1 and E2 is a gapcloser that requires you to travel to enemy location, so go ahead and spam your so said mobility, see how you die nonstop. The heal requires him to be really low HP to work, if not it is almost nonexistent. Given that is a heal and not a shield, Sylas can be oneshotted by most assasins. Even when he get the heal, he can't be tanky because of his poor def/mag def stats which somehow you recall good. So, yeah what a strong champion. Hypermobile and Tanky. Wonder why he keeps less than 43% WinRate in all positions.
Look, I gave you actual numbers.... the actual talk to me is pointless, anyone could argue anything with empty (no numbers) words. What I could do eventually is comparing his numbers to other numbers (like, for example, his base HP is 20th out of 144 champion, which is pretty good, right?) His heal + shield can give him about 1000 extra HP at level 18 with some AP. Malphite shield is 10% max health, that's 300 with 3000 HP, etc. Nautilus shield is 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 (+ 9 / 10 / 11 / 12 / 13% maximum health). Warwick would heal about 400 HP with his q late game. About the dash or gapcloser, call it whatever you want, I gave you the range, 1200. 1200 is a lot. Malphite ult is 1000. Amumu q is 1100. I don't know why you argue he doesn't have built-in mobility and tankiness, he does have it in his kit on top of good base stats. EDIT: You're right that he is 43% winrate is soloqueue, which could mean that he is hard to play, or played by noobs. In competitive though, he had a 98% presence in patch 9.11 in NA and EU LCS, LCK, LPL and LMS, for a 63% winrate. Nop. personal experience: Been platinum since season 4 (low to high plat) This season, I transferred from OCE to EUW. I got my rank reset to Bronze, but I climbed back to plat in ~ 200 games. Then I transferred to NA for a month, climbed to plat on NA. Then I transferred back to EUW, and it put me Bronze again......... I started climbing very quickly, skipping promo series and jumping 2 divisions at a time. But then, however, like you I had a loss streak, in gold 2, and I went from winning +32 LP, losing 10 LP, to winning 17 LP losing 20 LP. Moreover, I feel like I get a weird match-making. I've been hard stuck mid gold for a while and these days I just gave up those troll matchmaking ranked and play ARAM instead =D If they fix the matchmaking, I'll come back to rank.

I've been platinum since season 4 each season on OCE, EUW and NA. Yet with transfer I get put in Bronze and have to climb back each time. When I'm in Bronze, am I a bronze elo player? A platinum elo player? Honestly I don't care about that naming, what am I looking at is how game goes and do they seem to be even, especially laning 1v1 or 2v2. Do player have fair lanes. And losing a lane doesn't mean being 0/15 100 cs behind, that's getting reckt by someone way too strong for you. Losing lane is being 0/1 or 0/2, maybe 0/3 and 20 cs behind. I totally get your point from a toplaner perspective. But the problem as a team perspective is that early gank top often means losing dragon control. Another thing is that, botlane snowball is more punishing than toplane snowball. Often, a toplaner behind early can still be helpful mid/late, and his early deficit won't impact the rest of the map too much. A botlane behind means that 2 teammates are behind, and 2 enemy are ahead. Enemy botlane ahead mean they have priority on dragon. Also, botlane can quickly take first tower and rotate. I'm not saying jungle should avoid top, but as a jungler, I'd say we can certainly do our first gank top, but after the 1st back it's often better to stay around mid and botlane. When I see enemy jungler ganking top, I know I can get a free drake, and if lucky also 1st tower botlane with a good gank. Once this is done, I can get rift herald and get a second tower with the help of bot rotating, etc... Meta is snowbally, and snowball just works better from bot currently.

: MATCH MAKING IS SO ABSURD!
Soon you'll be one of the 43-50% winrate you're talking about ;) and your teammate will complain being matched with you, a low winrate player. I say that, but I feel you. Last season I was platinum, as in season 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. I transferred to EUW and got placed bronze. I climbed all the way to plat. I transferred to NA, and transferred hack to EUW a month later.... and it put me in bronze once again. All in all I was plat, next game I was bronze, I climb to plat, and next game I am bronze again. Now I am stuck in gold ahaha
