: How the carousels can ruin the game ? It's funny, the warriors picnic meet :)

: No they're not. Drafting is fine, and later in the game, it benefits players who are lagging behind.

Drafting is fine, and later in the game, it benefits players who are lagging behind. Wrong. Players that are behind will pick up because the game is RNG. Manually helping players with the carousel is just wrong. Does the losing team in Summoners Rift get a free Baron Buff or free items? No of course not.

: Comeback mechanic, not just winning based on snowballing. Losing health in exchange for 1st carousel placement is a high risk high reward strategy that you can use as well. If you can't win because the last place guy just for a 2☆ jinx and you couldn'tget that 2☆ jinx anymore, then you need to rethink your strategy.

You are so wrong in so many ways. Helping a player with a comeback is totally wrong because that same player can have super rerolls later in the game as well. So first they give him an advantage and then he might have had his comeback from RNG. And is his comeback does not come from RNG then maybe THE LOSING PLAYER should rethink HIS strategy. There is no tactic that will ever outplay blind luck. So the mechanic of helping losing players with a comeback that could occour anyway because of RNG is just plain wrong.

: TFT new skill reliant mechanic ?
So pay to win. Buy a good Little Legend and get better items,... Not a good idea imho.

So if you'll notice 2 stars unit at you opponent then you'll build something else ? There are 2 reasons to check your opponents build and this is all "big TACTICS" for this game: 1. To know their level and comp to see if is better to level up. 2. To see if they have Blitz, Zephyr, hextech, assasins to know how to position you units. Even so there are so few positioning ways: tight or split. Don't tell me you build something to combat your opponents comps because would be a big lie. > [{quoted}](name=DuskDaUmbreon,realm=NA,application-id=RaE1aOE7,discussion-id=v2ZA5Ac2,comment-id=0000,timestamp=2019-10-21T04:15:35.258+0000) > > 1) Yes, you can, early on when that decision has to be made. Are you a robot ? Because this makes me laugh. So you are looking at your opponents and choose what to build ? :)))))) Maybe RIOT wanted that idea, but the result proved us that this game has 10% tactics, the rest is RNG.

: 1) Yes, you can, early on when that decision has to be made. Around 2-1 or 2-2, when you're starting to solidify your comp, you need to figure out if you need to swap for any reason. 2) True, but counterbuilding isn't that important. Positioning does more for that. 3) Ok? Do what you want. But since Riot can only go one way, they're going to go for the one that doesn't ultimately suck. 4) Not true. It's also influenced by level. And the reason not to build what they are is because you have lower odds. If 3 people are using builds that involve Nidalee, that means I have much lower odds of getting Nidalee because so many people are using her.
> [{quoted}](name=DuskDaUmbreon,realm=NA,application-id=RaE1aOE7,discussion-id=v2ZA5Ac2,comment-id=000000010000,timestamp=2019-10-21T10:29:12.705+0000) > > If 3 people are using builds that involve Nidalee, that means I have much lower odds of getting Nidalee because so many people are using her. The odds for you and all the opponants is always the same at the same player level. In general the odds go down because there is less Nidalee in the shared pool, but the (indeed lower) chance of getting her is the same for all players and therefor you can still get your Nidalee althouh others are building her too.
: Swain so OP...
Any 5 gold unit at lvl2 is OP with the right items. Ever seen Karthus almost insta kill a whole team? It can be done.
: An AFK Problem in Teamfight Tactics
Like you already said, play ranked. The problem is with the Beta Pass Points. People go AFK because of the Orb. You need to "play" 5 games for extra points from the Orb. So a lot of people enter a game and leave because the game still counts.

: Randomness is too big a factor
True,... but,... If it would not be RNG then everybody would be building the same comps at the same pace and where is the fun in that? The game needs to be random, but unfortunately that means somethimes you just get delt a really bad hand. My main concern is the extreme punishment from RIOT for this. 1 bad game and all your LP is gone.

: So what's the point of the Yordle buff?
It really all depends on the enemy you face. Yordle can only dodge **BASIC** attacks. All other damage like spells and AoE goes through. If you get your Yordle team in shape and have an extra damage dealer then usually you can kill some enemies before they have a full mana bar and do spell damage to you. But if the enemy does a lot of spell damage from the start then Yordle is not that good.

I think its a bug though. Somethimes overtimes works and they fight it out. Somethimes overtime does not work and at the sound of the first buzzer you both get damage.
: Targeting
Camile and Blitz force champions to attack a single target. WW jumps to low health targets. Somethimes that works in your favour, sometimes not. I understand the frustration though. Its 1 vs 2 enemies, my champ is attacking the full health enemy instead of the low health enemey and meanwhile the low health enemy kills my champ. I guess "while attacking" a champion should not switch targets. But when moving on to the next champion it would make sense to prioritize low health enemies first.
: So....how is it more RNG because you didn't pay attention to what other people were building?
> [{quoted}](name=DuskDaUmbreon,realm=NA,application-id=RaE1aOE7,discussion-id=v2ZA5Ac2,comment-id=0000,timestamp=2019-10-21T04:15:35.258+0000) > > pay attention to what other people were building? Thats a BS argument for so many reasons: 1) You can not switch comp mid game based on what your opponants have. 2) You can not decide to build counter if you dont get the champions for it 3) I am not a sheep, I do not follow based on what others build, I lead the game and other can follow if they want. 4) The chance for any player getting a single champion is the same at any given moment. So for me to get my first Draven is the same chance for an other player getting his third Draven, assuming we have the same player level. So there is no reason not to build what others are building, untill you hit the gold 5 units of course because they are very limited. But even then, the chance of getting such a unit is the same.
: Make TFT Fixed Ratio of Champs instead of this RNG
I dont like the shared pool either. Not sure what would be better though. Maybe give everybody their own equal pool with X champions in it, and with Y chance of getting a certain champion. Then you still need to depend on what the game gives you, but at least you have a chance of getting what you need. Riot could try stuff while the game is in beta anyway,... At this moment a lot of my games get dominated by the first player getting a lvl2 Jinx or Draven. Which in itself is fine, but it makes no sense that other players then have less chance of building those champions. Expecially in ranked games the luck factor (RNG) is decisively. Everybody knows what items and comps to build, its just a matter of who gets lucky first.

: Information and the Carousel Phases
Items and champions can be learned, but extra information is of course even better. I am more worried about the POV of the carousel. The view and path of your little legend gets distorted on the top left and top right of the carousel, meaning you can aim for a certain champion but end up with the champion next to it because for some reason the legens touched it? It seems like when you touch Mordekaiser instead of the circle beneath him then you end up with mordekaiser. This is especially difficult whn you try to get a smal champion (Veigar) whi is nect to a big champion (Mordekaiser).

: PLEASE JUST PLEASE REMOVE FOF FROM CAROUSEL
What is fof ? Do you mean Force of Nature? Anyway,... the game always favours the losing player with every carousel round. They end up with better champions and items. Especially in the carousel round where the gold 5 units pop up. A losing player can become a winning player with just a Pantheon or Swain completing his dragon or imerial buff. I also wonder why the losing players get rewarded with favouritism. It would be like playing SR, and then the losing team gets a free Baron Buff because they are losing and need extra help to win. It makes no sense. I understand the randomness of the carousel is part of the game. But just make every carousel like the first carousel round, everybody go for it at the same time.
