I’m saying that you’re never going to get better than 170-180. There’s a lot of factors that you seem to ignore other than Riot themselves still, but keep trying to blame them.

If my ping to a german dota server is 180 but my ping to a german lol server is 220 then it should be a problem with the lol client or riots servers.

: The most likely cable for your connection would be one of the west coast african cables, which are around 14000 or so km in length. This is over twice as long as the average transatlantic cable - which has a maximum theoretical ping based on current amplification technology (which may improve in the future) and the speed of light (which will never change) of about 60 ms. As such, the maximum **theoretical** ping if your computer was connected on the west coast of ZA connected directly to the cable, and the EU server was connected directly to the cable on the west coast of the UK, would be 130-140 ms. However, you must also include the ping time for the *land* connection from your computer to the undersea cable, as well as from the cable connection to the UK to the server in Germany. That will result in an increase of 10-30 ms ping on each side in a best case scenario, so you're looking at a maximum theoretical ping of 150-180 depending on your distance and network traffic. Keep in mind that you getting "fiber" simply means that you have a fiber connection from your home to the "network node" that connects you to the wider network. It does not mean that you have a direct fiber optic cable from your computer to the riot server. Network prioritization and traffic will slow your video game connection down and there's nothing you can do about it.

: Riot did announce, that they are working on opening a server in africa.
I'm sorry i must have missed this. Last time i heard they indirectly said "fuck you" to us in 2015. Are they actually ganna set up a server after 10 years. Do not get me wrong i would be thrilled for actual good ping but riot does not have the best track record when it comes to listening to their players. if they actually bring out a server on africa i might start giving them money again.

: The more servers they put out, the more they split up the player base. So you'd have lower ping, but also a lot less people on the server, meaning matchmaking is much harder/slower/worse. There's always a tradeoff.
Well dota has a wait time of around 5 - 10 min and has a server in RSA. Lol has a wait time of 40 sec and the closest server is half way across the world. I still play dota not because i think it is funner than lol but because it is the only moba that put a server on the continent. My point is, a few extra minutes of wait time means absolutely nothing if it means i can have ping lower than 200.

He should have had enough points where he could have just killed towers for free.

He should have had enough points where he could have just killed towers for free. I was the team at 30 min. My "team" could not do anything so i had to simultaneously win team fights (teams fights being me vs the entire enemy team), push towers, get objectives. If i died, which was easy because even though i could kill the main damage dealers in 1 or 2 seconds if thresh or ahri landed their pull/charm i would die and nothing would stop the enemy from taking as much as they wanted. That is how i lost. I would die and the enemy would take 3 - 4 towers. I would defend top and bot would fall (even if my entire team was defending it they would just die or run away). So let me just say this again. I was the team at 30 min
