: To be fair any mage that can't instagib their target at level 6 is kinda bad right now. That being said, I want mages to return to the midlane to make midlane, toplane, and in some aspects botlane healthier. And conq aint gonna solve this problem.
Conqueror COULD work. Based on what I have heard said about this rune, I can imagine that it should be viable for some tanks, bruisers, and mages like {{champion:136}}, {{champion:8}} (if he was actually not played as a burst champion), {{champion:50}}, and perhaps a few others that like to fight closer instead of from afar. However I am a biased {{champion:136}} main who has been playing him for a decent time before his mini-rework.
Leetri (EUW)
: Nah, it's more like if the winning person could just permanently scout the entire map while the losing player can't even get an Overlord out of their base. The winning team in League just wards the entire map so the losing team can't even farm their own jungle without being ganked and dying. Of course for 95% of all players this literally doesn't matter at all because they can't even place the free wards they get, but it was a big problem in higher ranks and pro play.
But without vision, who would want to take risks in laning phase? Or attempt to take objectives? It would either make the game suffer in a way that laners would refrain from fighting and play only the safest champions. Or influence picks heavily and enforce a meta with point and click lockdowns. {{champion:90}} {{champion:82}}
Kalienor (EUW)
: Yes, that only applies if you have a support item.
Okay then, I mistook the change and I immediately went here to ask questions about it. Thanks for informing me about it.
: Anti-poaching is to prevent non-supports from abusing the item for the same gold gain as supports
Is that it? So it's on support items?

: Why is vision always being removed from the game?
What does a smart player do with no vision? They don't push lane and play safe unless the jungler is on the map or dead. I don't know how far Riot is willing to go with the removal of vision, but if they want to create flashy plays then I don't think that will be very good for the game. Especially with the possibility of more bushes and places to hide (alcoves and the adding of choke points with mountain drake and such) I feel like a lot of these changes could most likely affect the game negatively.
Zira (NA)
: She is. And to be fair, the first few weeks post release everyone is learning how to play/handle her. I still think her healing is a little strong, especially considering how well she scales in other areas. I've learned from every past release since... I can remember, that Riot releases overpowered champs intentionally, otherwise nobody would buy them(they made the mistake of releasing Lucian underpowered, and never made the mistake again since then.) They'll nerf her strengths in a month or so, or we'll have a better understanding of playing around them.
Can't Riot release a new champion in between overloaded and weak?
Done25 (NA)
: You know what Senna _doesn't_ have? The ability to build crit chance or attack speed.
That is okay but I think her healing is a problem early on when you're trying to whittle her down or fight. I mean, she doesn't have to even hit you to heal, and I don't like that she can heal off of turrets either.

True, I don't find it unbearable since no one is too good with her yet, but I was just pointing something out because the healing and damage might be of concern, especially since all adc's have to build lifesteal, runes, or rely on their support for sustain. But Senna has built in healing on her poke and I see her running guardian and bone plating. She is squishy otherwise though.
5050BS (NA)
: He heals a TON. On the PBE I ran Overheal on her and it stacked up for like 5-8k damage blocked. Its Crazy.
Exactly, she does not have attack speed, but she can hit an entire wave, deal decent damage to the enemy, AND heal herself plus shields all in one champion. This is overtuned/ overloaded imo.

: Who said it should be removed? The cost should either go up 200 so its the same as hexdrinker or it's stats should be lowered.
Or, perhaps it could use a new item path that gives AP and resistances. Though the stasis passive on hourglass is powerful if certain assassins can jump on you and delete you quickly. It's sort of your only option, especially in uncoordinated play. If stasis was removed it may bring a need for certain comps or new defensive items. If it sucks to play against then the interactions between assassin champions and their squishy targets may need to looked at. Either nerfing damage, introducing better, healthier items against assassins, reworking armor pen or magic pen, buffing armor and mr, anything to keep assassins viable at doing their job, but in a way that players are not having to sacrifice too much or build items with debatably op actives just to survive.
Kazekiba (NA)
: Not about whether or not I liked the changes. More about the fact that Aurelion was played by literally a few hundred people at most, in a game with dozens of millions of players and 145 champions. The changes spiked his play rate to comfortably above 1% (1.1-1.3% pick rate on most sites, depending on your selections).
Would more skins for the champion also increase his playrate? So far he only has 2 since his release.
Kazekiba (NA)
: Because newer players will know exactly how W works every time they use it. They dont have to think about mana control, or when and how long to turn it on, they dont have a lockout, and most importantly, CC does not stop his W completely now that he cannot leave it at Outer Limit indefinitely. You can't have these mechanics, stars rotate while CCd and Aurelion toggles the Outer Limit, simultaneously. It robs mid-range champions the ability to fight back against Aurelion entirely, makes his early game much, MUCH stronger and his late game spikes as unbeatable as before in the hands of a very slim minority of players. Instead, as an activation, his W works like a typical Burst mage ability. For a short time, enemies at a given range of Aurelion will take large amounts of damage. More familiar, easier to understand and play around, more impactful in trades and all around stronger burst than before.
I get that you like the changes, I do not find them unbearable to use in game though the older Aurelion had a higher skill cap and that is seemingly what his players liked about him. It wasn't wrong to try and expand his appeal, but having a high skill cap champion has it's own appeals as well. There are easy champions and hard ones in lol and dedicated mains would either want more skill expression for the time they spend practicing or quality of life changes and bug fixes. Champions like {{champion:157}} and {{champion:238}} are popular because not only are they fun, but the champions have some really skilled players in the community.
Kazekiba (NA)
: awful idea. The new W is fantastic and makes him so much easier and more fun to play. Rememebr when Swain's ult was a toggle? Shit was horrible, always glad to see that kind of mechanic go especially when its a huge reason for Sol's lack of playerbase and thus, lack of skins.
How does not having a toggle on w make him better or easier to play? I liked it because I could choose when I was going to stop using w to preserve mana or when I am attacking I wasn't forced to turn off w unless I chose to. I feel the new w takes control away from the player.

: Their itemization could do with some across the board nerfs. Let's have an 8.11 but for Mages please.
Maybe less damage, but if Riot wants to remove resistances I will resist that change. Assassin champs will have an easier time snowballing mid and that makes mr and armor less worth buying.

: Aurelionsol & swain used to stand out until riot reworked them. And now fiddle is in the line up for reworking . . . I hope they never rework morgana, orianna & syndra.
Aurelion is still different imo, but his rework removed the toggle and his high mana costs. Sol didn't need more damage or burst. I like the idea of a dps mage. {{champion:136}} {{champion:268}} {{champion:69}}
: So mages should just get to sacrifice nothing and have everything? And people wonder how mages became the strongest class... It's not like {{item:3155}} builds into one of the worst items in the game and {{item:3191}} builds into literally the best or anything...
So mages have only 1 armor item that builds into an item that gives AP from what I know. So if seeker's is removed, what can a mage build against a Zed or Talon? While assassin champions can still build Hexdrinker. How is that balanced at all?
Ahri Baka (EUNE)

: Natural talent and the commitment to foster that talent. The best way I heard a coach put it is if you aren't good enough to hit high diamond within your first 2 years of playing the game you're not going pro. Now hitting gold or platinum is something anyone can do and I think coaching is the fastest way to get there if you're struggling.
I actually have not played competitive much during the time I have played the game. Not even 100 games. That is because I can't feel confidence in how inconsistently I play. I really want do be good at something, but I have motivation issues I'm struggling with. I just don't want to hate my performance anymore.

: He's sitting around a 51% winrate right now which is hardly broken. Plus the Aftershock changes in season 10 are going to hit him real hard.
Just PLEASE remove the extra gold on his ult. No competent player is going to miss because cc exists in his kit. Just to put it into perspective how broken it is... {{champion:114}} although her ult is different she has to hit 4 vitals, or kill her opponent to get the most healing/ damage. Not only does Pyke need to just land one skill shot, he has cc to ensure you can't escape and give extra gold for 0 real effort unless you have have specific things in your comp/ viable build path. Plus, he gets resets and extra gold even if his ult didn't strike the final blow.
: So...You want about 30 minute games? That's literally the average game length right now.
True, what I mean is that should stay as the average duration of games.
: So which Legendary Permanant did everyone get?
Battlecast Alpha Skarner I hear he's in a bad spot, but I'm drawn to champions like him for some reason. {{champion:136}} {{champion:62}} {{champion:268}} {{champion:96}}
: So can we get back scaling / late game / slower paced meta?
Games need to have an accepatable average length that is not too long or short. 15-20 minutes is short enough, but should not be the average length of games as that dictates the meta too hard towards early game champions. An average of 30-40+ minutes may make early game worthless and late game champions too impactful and games uneventful. I would think no one wants to be forced to play an early or late game meta. If Riot wants to make games more flashy or eventful then make changes to late game champs to suit that, but make them still weak until they get items.
