Us trolls are not born we are made from many things in the game. From players flaming, from players crying about KS because they did not want to last hit, to people not wanting to trade in fights and leave others to die. At some point we break, and say we have had enough, and we just play for fun over trying to care about the match. Not caring and playing feels much more rewarding. {{sticker:galio-happy}} At the end of the day its not our fault us trolls win
: Personal research about inting people
Trolling/mixing builds are not bad. I will never stop playing any champ I want because someone does not like the pick. I will never stop building the items I want because a player does not like them. In the end we will always win when it comes to riot. {{sticker:galio-happy}}

: >Bubble hearth was removed because players did not find it fair. Ah yes, how can i be so dumb? Of course! One instance where Blizz "balances" their game makes them many times better than Riot. Not to mention the whole elitist shits who don't let "dead" classes to raid. Or after a single wipe, they immediately disband the party, forcing everyone to wait for another 30 years to queue up instead of working to a better strategy. One look at Blizz's own forums and you'll see there's plethora of complaints about WoW, just like there is for League. You're comparing apples and oranges here. WoW has its own set of issues and the difference between these games is that Riot's patch cadence is every two weeks while for WoW, months (which is typical for MMOs). So once a broken item/class appears, it takes months before Blizzard does something, even if its destroying PvP.

So once a broken item/class appears, it takes months before Blizzard does something, even if its destroying PvP. Blizzard has issues, but blizzard has done very well listening to its players feed back, and making changes based on that feed back and most of the feed back was from people on the forms. Riot has a very very low track record of taking feed back from the forms. I know I can name more post's on the blizzard forms that were taken, and put into the game compared to Riot. How many post on Riot forms have been taken, and put into the game? I honestly can't even think of one. And I am sure there is one from years and years ago, but that's it. Its pretty simple when it comes to comparing the two.
: League of Legends is a broken game
The main flaw with the game is you don't have the tools to carry your self out of every match anymore. I would mute chat, and pings and just play if I did not have to rely on random people doing things correctly. The game is so team heavy you are a slave to the choices they make. That is really what it all comes down to. The reason the game was better back in the day was it was more based on how well you played and what you build ed on your character. You can't mix your build anymore other wise you risk hurting your chances in team fights, and losing trades. Any champion you pick to play will have 2 to 3 items on display that said's essential. That means you have to use those items for your champion to be effective in battle. You can argue that is not true, but riot would not put the words essential if it wasn't. Riot can clear that up on the post anytime they wish, but I think they expect players to catch on to that when they play, and that's why its not posted. {{sticker:galio-happy}}

I do miss the days of front line tanks, and damage dealers in the back, and zoning people out. I miss the days were a team fight was about a min long, and it was all about timing. I miss the days were if the team was doing bad you could still carry your self out of that match by focusing on getting your items. Map awareness was easy back then because the lane phase was 20 mins. So no matter the mistake you can fix the issue and get back into the game. Oh those were the days.

: Pyke's ult can be physically dodged, even by sidestepping if you're quick to react/misleading in the way you move. The easy way is flashing or using hourglass/stopwatch, if he doesn't kill anyone with his ult he doesn't get the reset. Mostly, what makes it hard to dodge is the chain cc prior to his ult, but all of his other abilities are easier to dodge so if you start getting hit by them you're probably not ready for a R dodge anyway. You can also bait it and heal (not shield tho) at the last moment, if you get out of the threshold, it won't kill you and he won't have his reset.

: Depends what you mean by cancel? The other day I witnessed a godly play by a Morde in ARAM who cast his ult while Pyke was mid animation on his, stopping the execute. I've also stopped been stopped the execute by being killed as Pyke and killing Pyke's. Knockbacks should work also. He's not unstoppable in the animation it's just very hard to judge as it's also a dash and can be cast from his stealth so it's hard to target, unlike say Jhin or Velkoz who just stand (float) there. Dodge is easy if you have a dash for flash, there is a big marker. (still think the double gold and execute is bullcrap though, different matter however). Unhealthy on the other hand is a true damage %missing HP point and click that even if it's half way through the animation will hit you if you dash or flash out of the cast range because it's being cast. They need to nerf Garen's ult really.

The main cause of the support role changing is because most normal support champs have been nerfed, and tanks are not useful as they once were. Riot does not think about random players. They only think about the pro players that keep there game going. Pro players will play one type of way, but many players don't play the same. So in the end they removed front line play style, and most of the cc that came with supports. Most players know riot won't care what random players think so players just pick normal damage roles, and off meta roles to counter the play style riot try's to enforce.

Don't get my wrong i totally understand mechanics are a major factor of this game and leaving it 3+ years ago I am incredibly rusty but it seems this game has become something I cant even return to. I Understand that with time this game needs to adapt/evolve but the way the game is now it seems that the new champions/reworked champions dominate this entire game and overpower the old champs I grew to Love. > > It seems this game has just become massive team death match. where everyone can one shot everybody. > > I apologize for the rant but I Just miss the old league of legends. The game is based around World Championships. That's why many things changed to what we have now. It won't last for ever though. There are way better games coming out. Riot can only last so long. FF7 remake is what I am waiting for.

I would also point out that tanks, and front line strats were a core concept for years before riot made changes. I also would like to point out that if the goal of the changes were to remove front lines, and common strats that were used for years of the game then the kits that the current tanks have would have been changed to correspond to the changes made to the game. In other words if the goal of the changes were to change the play style people grew to love then they should have changed all of the tanks kits, and talents to compete with the play style they wanted to enforce.
: I think the problem with league's ranked system is that your LP gain is TOTALLY team performance dependent. In this game, it is WAY too easy to lose LP. Toxic players who leave games or spread their anger, trolls, and then the people who are literally just hopeless. **Everyone must suffer the consequence of a troll, toxic person and hopeless player who doesn't care to win.** If ranked was more dependent on _individual_ performance, maybe less people would be so angry at the fact they lost LP when its not even their fault. I mean seriously, how tilting is it to lose 18 LP because someone wants to int. I mean yeah they'll PROBABLY get banned, but your LP is 18 less now, and Riot won't return that back to you, leaving you with only more tilt to deal with. The snowballing in this game is also very bad. Games weren't even that long before now, it was the usualy 15-30min; **Thats normal**. However, riot ended up focusing too hard on shorter games ad ended up just making everything not balanced, and snowbally.

Riot's policy is to give them the benefit of every excuse possible. "Well you wouldn't want to punish someone whose modem just happened to be struck my lightning, and then his replacement modem was ALSO struck my lightning the next game. So back to back leaver games may not be intentional." In reality, people leave games (1) knowing that their leaving was a risk when they queue'd (bad internet, competing real life priorities), or (2) ragequitters. The impact is -18 LP for 4 innocent bystanders. > > Leavers should be punished properly. My most recent game, screenshot attached, is how blatant leavers have become. They don't care. They announce it in chat, because they know it'll never be punished. I played with a guy two days ago whose username was "I DC A LOT" (not his actual name, to protect the Board rules I'm not calling out an actual account ID, but it's very similar to that spirit). Sure enough he left 3 times during the match. It's such a joke, in the post game lobby I asked him about his name. He said "this is my account when I'm at school and know my internet will cut out a lot." I asked if he had been punished and he said "Not yet, and I disconnect all the time. Riot doesn't seem to track it, I'm thinking of just going back to my main since they don't enforce leaving." If players feel the team is doing poorly, and they know the team won't surrender at the correct time to not waste time leaving is the better choice. No one should be forced to drag out a loss when everyone can say gg ff and move on to the next game. As long as players don't leave every match there really is no rule breaking. Back in the old day surrender never happened because games would avg over the 30 min mark, and comebacks were common. None of those things exist any more. So ff should be used often, but its not. That's why afks are common right now. My self included.

I am 29 and my wife is 24 and I guess you would call us die-hard players (although we aren't the best). I am already almost level 275. We don't go out to bars or do anything expensive for "date night" since we are both gamers. Honestly I don't know HOW we managed to spend so much - a few skins each week or buying big packs during events, I guess it adds up. > > Anyway I have never had any problems justifying this expense for two reasons. First of all, we can afford it since I have a good job as an Engineer & we have no kids. As I stated before we don't really do date nights because we just prefer to stay home, game & watch adult swim, south park, etc. while we do it. The money we save from not going out drinking and out to eat I'm sure is more than we spend on League. Again, $2,000 is a rough estimate - it could be much more. I was only able to calculate that much from my checking account but that doesn't account for the numerous gift cards I've been awarded at my job for various achievements (also the $250 we got as a wedding gift from coworkers that mostly went into League). > > The second reason is that we feel that skins are a fair and long term benefit. We enjoy using skins & since I'm an ARAM player it's nice to have skins for all possible champs I might play. For the most part skins I buy I do feel that work was spent creating them that can justify the cost. I also understand that anyone **CAN** unlock skins through normal play so I don't feel like a greedy bastard that has some paid advantage over my opponents. > > **Even the event passes I've been fine with -_ I've gladly turned over 2% of my yearly income_ for you creating content that me and my wife enjoy, as much of our time spent together bonding is through League of Legends. ** > > > > And then came the Urf pass. > > > This really was the first time that I raised an eyebrow to Riot's money practices. Of course I bought the pass because I quite loved Urf but all the while I felt that it was a very greasy way to make money and essentially gave paying players like myself an advantage against those f2p players, which really breaks the spirit of a game like League - with that said it was a limited time event and quickly dropped from my mind. > > Then came the prestige points. I felt like this system was far too expensive & that Riot intentionally separated "event prestige skins" from "prestige point skins" as a greedy means to make even more money. I had one piss poor experience lately during the Battle Academia event. Basically I thought that I could use Prestige Points to get the Lux skin when it released. I already had 65 prestige points so I went ahead and bought a $100 event pack to get the rest of the points I needed for the skin. Since I had my 100 prestige points I went ahead and used 1k of my event tokens on other things. Once the Lux skin released I discovered I couldn't use my prestige points to obtain the skin EVEN THOUGH it's called a prestige skin. I contacted Riot support and begged them to trade my 100 prestige points *AND* the rest of my tokens (I still had over 1,000 left) for the skin. They refused. Support flat out told me that they understood and agreed the system is confusing but couldn't help me. To this day that still makes me mad. I did manage to grind enough tokens to still get the skin (and still have the 100 prestige points) so they sort of did me a favor by not making the trade but the lack of service to a customer who spends so much is unreal. > > Continue on to the biggest ripoff yet, Little Legends. When released me & my wife fell in love with them. She wanted that cute pink furyhorn so bad. So I said okay, let's buy $50 worth and I'm sure we will get some good stuff. Nope! She got ONE max level legend and it wasn't even the one that she wanted. Right at that moment I realized how fking insane of a ripoff Little Legends are and you know I haven't spent a DIME on those legends and I will not do so again, Riot should really be ashamed they are ripping people off so badly. I thought Call of Duty's loot boxes were bad but man looks like Riot wants to give them a run for their money. > > > Then with a bad taste in my mouth from ripping me off with the Little Legends you announce this trash Eternals. What in the hell am I supposed to even do with Eternals? > > I spend my money so I can show off an achievement that is really only showing that Riot achieved scamming me out of $5 or $10. I won't feel proud to show this off I'll just look like a giant douche who is either super loose with their money or has their parents credit card. I'd rather go give a homeless person $10 next time they ask me outside Walgreens then pay $10 to show off how much money I have.. Christ this is just another thing to flash in front of all the players who are less fortunate, those players who live in countries where they have to go to a cyber cafe just to play the game. What a slap in the face, you can't even unlock it in regular crates!!! > > Total elitist bullshit. > > > Bottom line is that this Eternal nonsense is, in the words of Bubbles from one of my favorite TV shows, FKING GREASY. G-R-E-A-S-Y. > > You outta be ashamed of yourselves and let this be a testament that you WILL LOSE some of your most loyal whales. $2,000 in my first year playing. 307 skins owned and that's not even including my wife's account. Feel free to look me up @Riot and if you do please respond to confirm that I have in fact spent this much (as I suspect it's actually closer to $3,000). > > I PROMISE you that I won't spend a dime on this game if you release Eternals in their current form. At LEAST give a base version of each champion to everyone for free. > > > > Also one last thing. STOP USING PR LIKE YOUR PLAYERS ARE STUPID. > > The ridiculous reasons for hiding Little Legends behind Loot Boxes and monetizing Little Legends is just so ridiculously dumb I can't believe you don't know we see right past it. **Greed will always lead to evil and failure.** At one point World of Warcraft seemed untouchable until the company changed things for money. The reason any company will keep doing evil things is because people out in the world will spend there money on things the company pushes. As long as there are people out there willing to give others money for the wrong reasons then the companies will keep putting out stuff many don't like. Unlike most people. I would never flash my money like it means nothing. I have more respect for my self as well as other people. You may not think 2000 is much, but to many that is a lot.

Right now I see most players not helping the tanks after they engage because they know the tanks will die before they can get to the correct enemy players. That's the main reason tanks don't really get picked to play. Most tanks are placed in the support role, and rely 100% on there adc to react, and damage the enemy player, But if the tanks die so easy then that does not help motivate there team mates work with each other. it tells them they need to stay back more, and fight less. If a player keeps getting killed as the tank trying to help his team mates win then its only a matter of time before that player finds the game unfun playing tank because they die to easy, and they are not helping with winning team fights. Then it sounds like a player problem, not a design problem. From what it sounds, tanks as a character class and as a design are completely fine right now, backed up by pro play as well as higher ELO. So the problem again falls on people who don't know how to play with, around, and against tanks. You're right now pointing out that tanks are fine and the problem falls once again on the teammates and people they play with...so why change it? Changing this is a net-zero. Buffing tanks for low ELO makes them broken in high ELO/pro play, which is a negative. We should encourage people to learn how to play with tanks rather than just changing it because some guy can't FP a tank and roll his face across the keyboard. > I think many players love the whole high damage game play over having longer team fights that encourage more team work. Right now tanks don't encourage there team mates with any thing because they can die to easy. I mean if a player drops fast that does not really scream keep working together. Last I checked that means stay back don't fight. > > How the champs are designed, and play out in the game influence how players will react with team mates, and team work. Tanks, when properly played with and coordinated with, can survive longer due to teams being less focused on the tank and with players being able to divvy up damage and attention. If you want fights in Pro Play champions can often shrug off HUGE amounts of damage because of how they pick fights and how focusing happens. Diving 1v5 as Malphite with no support is going to end with a rock-shaped splatter no matter how tanky he's built. The design is fine. The game is fine. The champions are fine. The issue falls on players who apparently can't work with their team. Again, we need to instead allow resources for teammplay and to help people either improve their teamplay or learn to better coordinate. Buffing tanks won't fix this problem, it'll just shuffle the problem around. Hit the root cause. Don't chop off a few branches because those branches are just going to grow back.

The champs may be fine to the small amount of high elo players that can react faster then any normal video game player to any form of game play in this video game in there eye's, but to the avg player that keeps the game a float I don't see tanks being fine. High ELO's may enjoy the style of the game, and champ Design now, but time will tell if there really is a Design issue, or a player issue. I see Design being changed over time over more tools being added as time goes on. A player should not be viewed as bad just because they didn't click 1.5 secs faster, and that would be a dangerous mind set to have as a dev for a video game that you want people around the whole world to play vs a small amount of high ELO players. League prides its self of competing, but I don't think the high ELO's are the ones paying riots bills, and if the avg players feel they can't compete because of game Design then I see bad times ahead for this video game. So in the end I think changes will come in the end. Unless High ELOs are the ones that pay riot the most for this video game. No matter what pro videos are posted I still don't see tanks being good picks over damage dealers in today's league of Legends. When tanks start to feel like tanks then I am sure things will get better.

So then how would you keep all those Low ELO players to keep playing the game, and buying skins if those players views don't matter? Is there only a small amount of low ELO players? I ask because I remember reading riot always saying most players are low elo, and its only a small amount that play high ELO. Then maybe those players need to understand that the problem isn't with the game but with them? As I often like to explain: I'm from the FGC. In the FGC you get good, suck it up or get out. If players want tanks to work, then maybe they should learn better teamplay and coordination. In _that_ case then yes, we can frag out Riot for not giving us the tools to hone these skills. Even so, we should look to improve our playerbase rather than continue to cater to them. The goal should be to bring players up, not nerf the game down.
