"Riot" (=employees or the automated system) usually doesn't check the chat without a report/ticket. Another PLAYER reported you for your behaviour and apparently it was enough to warrant a punishment. Now you take on their role and report other people out of spite? Person he reported should have been banned. Doesn't matter if he was banned or what he was banned for. It's not like he's switching sides or getting revenge, he's just giving a pointless story about how he was banned.

Lol its funny that I'm giving you a pointless story but I have had multiple games where people openly int, like they just straight up run it down mid and then afk. They care more about the stuff you say in chat because I guess that is more important. People getting their feelings hurt is more important than people inting and ruining the game. hmm

: I think nothing should be changed. If you flame/whine you are not honorable, hence you lose your honor. Makes sense. It is actually fairly good way of controlling people like you, becase as you exactly said 10 game chat restriction is fine for you (means doesn't really affect you), but losing honor may hurt a bit more, still letting you play the game. It is absolutely good system.

The only thing I think is that there should be some sort of tier to the punishment. For instance, saying what I said is just at the minimum of aggressiveness/toxicity but some people are using slurs and extremely toxic to the point it ruins games. And they are receiving the same exact ban as me.

: Why should you get honor rewards when you have not displayed honorable behavior?

You ever have a game where you are just tilted beyond belief and can't help it.

: Your best bet would be to write a [Support ticket](https://support.riotgames.com) or message them on [Twitter](https://twitter.com/RiotSupport). It could be bugged, or you could be slightly negative, but just not negative enough to get a punishment. That being said, you'll progress through honor as long as you play non-negative games.
