: Tanks and Lethality
A j4 hard carrying in a normal game is not a very good example of anything other than the fact that the player was obviously better than most the people in the game, and was against nice squishy champs. If a j4 is snowballing that hard it has nothing to do with tanks and lethality. anyone that is melee carrying that hard they will have more dmg done and taken. And I still never understood why j4 is still considered a tank since even full tank j4 is not tanky at all.

sometimes when your fed you go for the split push because you know your team can't win a 5v5 due to whatever reason, you splt in hopes that your team will harass another lane, so they enemy team must divide and send multiple people up to stop you and then your team can take a tower or objective on the lane their in. The only issue with this is that most the time it doesn't work because your team doesn't understand to play it safe and not int 4v5. if they know what to do it works great though

The post about junglers go from: "nerf junglers" "Better jungler wins the games" "I feel that jungler decides if i win my lane or not" to "Buff junglers" "They are just totally shitting on my main role" "jungle isn't fun to play anymore". Make up your minds, do you want junglers to be strong or not? If you give junglers more experience and levels, the ganks will be even stronger than they are right now. Im going to give a very unpopular opinion and say: I am completely fine with the way the jungle works right now. And you know what I am a jungle main. The experience nerf is fine. Junglers already have the most impactful role in the entire game, it is okay for it be slightly weaker than solo lanes.

The issue is characters rocking high attack speed, high Life steal, on top of true damage and or %health damage, lethality etc. No matter how tanky you are over tuned characters like vayne that can eat you while procing crits with bloodthirster and or bork which keeps their hp full... Really just makes it impossible to play tank. It would be nice to see tanks with not very high damage but the ability to genuinely take some hits and not be eaten in a second or 2. Nerf true damage and %hp, if they have to lower tanks damage to compensate, but make them durable. No point in armor and health if one champ can blow you up and steal enough hp to stay full health

: Learning Jungle Help please
Jg main here, by far my favorite champ is j4… hes not hard to learn but he has so much versatility that you can learn how to do or play him with or against almost anyone, so the cap for him is near limitless. He's also very strong in the meta and if in competent hands is capable of hard carrying. Watch out for Jax though he's your hard counter on jarvan. Easy champs to learn jg on that are meta would be Warwick, rammus, zin xhao, yi. To a new jungle the best advice I could give you is to play some games on those easy camps so you can get the basics down, read jungle guides on the farm routes and builds for each champ. Then once you get a decent understanding switch over to a jungle that scales high with skill such as rek'sai, Lee sin, jarvan. They are so versatile as jungles that you can practically play them with or against any team, with enough experience they will let you really shine as a jungle. It will take more games to do decent with them but if you persevere it will be much more rewarding. I played easy champs for quite a long time and wondered why I couldn't advance or carry reliably, once I started to main jarv and rek I realized what I was missing. I wish I'd played more Lee sin. A good Lee sin is horrible to jungle against

I definitely try to improve all the time though. Jg main here, sadly if I have the best score on my team and we lose, most the time it's my fault. Too few people know how to turn an advantage into a win. Kill someone in lane, push the wave in and if it's safe enough chunk the turret, help the jg contest dragon or roam another lane and try to get your team some kills and assists It's one thing to learn how to win lane and get a good score, its a whole nother thing to turn that good score into a win. Turning your advantages into getting objectives is what wins games, not simply having a good score. If you are carrying that means you need to be pressuring things, towers, Baron, dragon etc are what win games.

So please, tell me what I can possibly do to win when I have no agency over the outcome of the game. Climbing has to be possible because people do it, but I can’t figure out how. Not that it's anything anyone likes to hear but no matter the game there's always ways to improve and get something out if it. The fact is sometimes the enemy is better or has a better team comp or sometimes you just get someone on your team that blows. But it's important to remember that there are things you can improve on, mechanical, build, counter build, runes, vision, objective control, teamwork, roaming, cs..... There's so many small things that someone can get better at and as they do their potential to carry increases more than they realize

Cheese jgs will still thrive along side champs like Lee Sin. I don't get people that flame lvl 2 gankers. If I'm the enemy jungle and I'm on j4 or Lee sin or something similar and you choose to push your lane without vision, you should understand 100% you will get ganked. People just need to understand how to play jg well enough to know how to counteract them. As an aggressive early game champ I will almost always try to kill the enemy jg while they get their 2nd buff if they are on a weak champ. If not I'll look for whichever lane is pushed into my tower or overextended and wait for them to blow a CD on my laner and then punish them. Most the time it works because people don't respect a good early jungle and extend without wards If people play smart in the early vs a strong early game jungle they will likely either waste important farming time on really reaching for ganks that are less successful, or they will straight up try to hard and get counter ganked and die. Even if neither happen and they just farm they will be having a hard time because they really need those early kills or they fall behind. Tldr play safe early and just doing that will be a punishment for hard early ganker jg

: You can solo carry if you get good at Irelia or Zed or Lee Sin. Champs with low cooldowns/reset, high mobility, and 1 shot mechanics once fed a tiny bit.... J4 can solo carry, but it requires you to know that level 2 is important for ganking/invading. If you autofarm, you're not going to 1v5 as Jarvan. You constantly need to be carrying. You probably lose with Hecarim, simply because you get so confident in 1 shotting, that you keep all-inning late game, after you go 15/1 from Predator engages. You probably suffer from what Yasuo players do; Overconfidence, and the belief in "all-in" whatever the engage. Renekton/J4 : Just push lanes when fed. Don't just run around kill hogging. If you are fed, you can quickly take a turret and force the enemy to recall to you and try to stop you. You need to learn to know at what point you're "fed enough" and transition into a different play style. I play {{champion:143}} entirely different than any other Zyras I know. I do NOT build {{item:3151}} {{item:3116}} . Instead, I build her full mobility, and incorporate {{item:3100}} . She begins doing 900 damage hits to turrets, and then all it takes is one solid push, to chew through an entire team's base. If the opposing team tries to stop me, I'm faster that they are.

This guy gets it. J4 jungle main here, jarvan is all about constant pressure from lvl 2 on. Lvl 2 I try and gank enemy jg while clearing their 2nd buff(also steal the buff), if I get the kill I'll clean any nearby camps, try and hog scuttles. Go back, item up and punish and lanes, once their first buff is back up you steal that, steal whatever else and deep ward. Or camp it and kill them again. Keep stealing farm till lvl 6… go on a killing ganking spree, get dragon Then gank hard till warrior jg item and cleaver are built. Then start really pressuring single lanes and taking turrets. Jarv starts to fall off after about 25 mins if he doesn't have a massive lead so you need to punish the enemy hard enough that your team's too far ahead by around that point. Always focus objectives and Don't be afraid to feed kills to your dps teammates that aren't too bad at their champ. You have to understand that unless they are all just horrible there will come a point in mid game that your all in kill j4 stuff doesn't work anymore, for me i try my best to finish it before it gets there. If you do hit mid game your solo carry will stop working, that comes the time for teamwork being needed. have to work with the team to get some picks. or you can split push but jarv isn't a turret eater so it can be a pain.
: Is it me or solo carry is impossible now
well it freaked out and posted before i could spellcheck and now it wont let me edit

Jungle main here. I totally agree, a good jungle on a good meta champ should absolutely be carrying the early game. All these people complaining about jungle either don't know how to play it correctly or don't play the right champs. That does raise the one actual issue, the viable champ pool for jungle is very very low. You basically have to pick a gank heavy mobility champ with good dmg and versatility and strong early game ( j4 and Lee sin I'm talking about you) Most the time if you pick a squishy jg, you'll get wrecked by a good one, pick a late game jg, you'll get wrecked by a good one, pick a slow clear speed jungle .. again. Our only issue is that only a handful of champs are really competitive in the jg ATM. They however are very strong, as is jg impact

As such i would play a lot of different jungles throughout the years, maokai, trundle, nautilus, voli, vi, xin, yi, ww, rammus, graves, elise, ammumu... rly whatever was in the meta or was good for the team or a counter pick. Now instead i play..... Jarvan for more or less any matchup, ban jax. For some reason my opponents hardly ever play lee sin or xin, and i never see another j4. They are all the only viable champs for jungle at low to mid elo, and with so many jungle fills atm people dont understand you will get eaten by a good jungle main unless you pick one of those few champs.. My one piece of advice, is to ward the side the enemy will be coming on to get to your 2nd buff( ward it right before taking it and make sure to check the bush next to it, which is normally on top side. I can't tell you how often i get first blood camping the bush at lvl 2 next to the 2nd buff, wait for them to drop to low hp and buff monster to almost be dead, eq in with jarvan and smite the monster to steal the buff and exp and gold, and knockup my enemy, and finish them. Works about 80% of the time i try it... and i try it anytime i'm in jungle vs someone that isn't xin lee sin or jax

Darius excels in drawn out battles, he builds stacks, and gets heals while chopping away at his enemy, best strat for him is to A.) poke him with some slows and keep your distance get his hp low and burst him( he relies on heals a lot so ignite works well for grevious wounds), he relies on his slow and pull to keep you in close build stacks and then dunk you. b.) hit him with some hard some cc and burst him down, might take multiple players. or C.) jump on him with something like a fed sustain champ like zin xhao His biggest weakness is to poke dmg with slows, which prevents him getting on top of you.
: Ummm I don't think you know what strategy is if you don't think %hp true damage should be in the game. If the enemy team has a fiora on it picking a tank will be less effective, if the enemy has a lot of tanks picking vayne as a adc will be effective, and if you pick a vayne the enemy can pick cait so enemy will have the better team fight but your adc can kill the tanks faster, Those are examples of strategy there are gives and takes. The champs abusing %hp true dmg have insane heals in their item build/ kit and they eat tanks so fast that they don't give a second thought to the reflect, and obviously armor doesn't do anything vs true damage since it's not something that can be mitigated. the only counter play is having enough cc and burst damage that you can outright kill them before they can do anything

: But it is as bad as we are making it out to be. They first nerf our exp gain from all camps. Then they make it pretty much mandatory for the jungle to get at least one of the two scuttler crabs and if you miss out on both you are severally behind since most likely the enemy jungler will have level 3 while you are still level 2. On top of that once both scuttlers are gone only one will spawn after and if you don't have that control you are most likely behind. Second they decide to announce when both your buffs are spawning meaning if you aren't on top of them when they spawn the enemy can easily just steal it away. Thirdly jungle is already one of the hardest roles to play catch up on so even one successful invade can set you back tremendously, and if no one came to help that said jungler the enemy now knows they can easily keep doing this because there is no counter pressure from the team. So when you wanna complain and say "oh but my lead and advantage" it doesn't hurt you that hard it's actually more beneficial to you to help because that opens up free ganks and towers. Also unlike other lanes if jungle falls behind he can't just ask for help to catch up (i.e jungle ganks) I have had plenty of games where a lane was doing terrible and a few hard camps from the jungle brought them back. However with jungle when that happens you are on your own with low gold and long respawn timers on your camps while simultaneously having to fight off your most likely annoyed teammates who aren't happy that you are in no position to help their lane (mainly found in low elo). Not only that laners have zero hesitation taking your jungle while simultaneously getting mad at you for taking farm, how is that fair at any point.

Most all other jungle you can just out play with j4 in lower lvl play, he's a monster, carried myself to plat4 2years ago with him, now I made a new account and going to see if I can do it again. Also all these auto filled jungles that don't know what they Are doing are great for jungle mains.... Rly it's the best of times for us

: Actually you literally can't gank mid or top in early game anymore in most of the games because they are 2-3 lvls above you untill you can catch up around lvl 8-10. Often top or mid is lvl 7 when I am not even 6. That's why I camp bot all game.

I normally try and gank top and or mid at lvl 3. Whichever lane has the better setup. Only get a kill 25-50% of the time but at least get 1 summoner spell or better basically Everytime on those early ganks. Long as you don't over commit and just hit them with a decent combo like j4 eqw and an auto it's a good half their health plus a summoner, gives your lane great early pressure and cost you just some seconds and some mana. Toss out some vision for your laner and off into the jungle you go. After lvl 3 you will be behind in levels most the game unless your snowballing

Ideally it'll be laner + allied jungler vs enemy jungler and unless both allied players are very unskilled, the enemy jungler has no reason to come out of that situation successful. > > And It's possible they might not come to your lane to gank, yes. But making the game 4v5 by effectively cutting off all resources from your jungler, by not creating any counter pressure on the invading jungler, certainly isn't going to be better. What do you expect your underlevelled jungler to do if they cant get any gold and xp in their jungle? Do you want them to come leach xp and gold from your lane? They're going to have a difficult time trying to fight for dragon. Idk, what do jungles expect laners to do after putting themselves behind then not helping them as the opponent snowballs? > The difference in lane is that your opponent doesn't get to kill your minions. You always have those available to farm for gold and xp. Sure you might lose some lane pressure, but losing lane pressure isn't going to completely gimp you from the rest of the game. And like I said before, while you're losing lane pressure, the enemy jungler is also losing time spent unsuccessfully going into your jungle so it's not a wasted effort. It might actually, those minions and gold lost can be the difference between being lvl 5 and 6 and your opponent able to snowball off your death from that. I also ask again, so they are losing time, but the opponent laner is getting free time to push you out of the game, why does that not matter?

I also ask again, so they are losing time, but the opponent laner is getting free time to push you out of the game, why does that not matter? Jungle main here, just started this new account because I took a 2 year break and wanted a fresh start, I'm not a great player but I was plat 4, 2 seasons ago, so I'm not horrible. I gotta say, with the changes to jungle it really puts the pressure on people playing a high mobility champ with Good fast kill speed, and strong early game. Jarvan 4 and Lee sin I'm talking about you. Champs that if left to their own devices in skilled hands will eat just about any jungle other than Jax( I hate Jax) you as a laser absolutely have to stop them from invading and killing your jungle and then free farming their jungle farm. I can't tell you how many lvl 2 kills I get on the enemy when they are going for their blue or red buff, then after that I just farm their farm and kill them, if the laners don't come to stop me early on then I'll be fed enough that they can't mess with me either. Then I will always have a free farm on their jungle, I'll keep deep wards in their bushes, have the pressure to more or less safely gank any lane, take objectives et. Then the hard lane ganks and quick snowball hits. Especially if we're talking in lower elo where warding isn't the best. On the games where I'm getting hard pressured from the opposing jungle, like if they have a stupid Good Lee sin, if you come roam down for me, give me some push back and maybe a kill or at least enough pressure he can't free farm my jungle. I as a jungle will be appreciative and make sure to gank for you and try and feed you. About 80% of my games that I win jungle hard and shut down the opposing jungle my team wins. And almost every game if I get shutdown hard and get no help or pushback from the team we lose. Granted there's the games where neither jungle snow balls, but it almost a guaranteed loss if your jg is shut down hard at lower elo

: My two main roles are the two most blamed
There's 2 kinda of jungles, those that pick it because they aren't good enough to go toe to toe in lane with someone, and those that main jungle and are good at it. Jg main here, the reason people give you hate when you jungle is likely because you don't know the role. Unless you play jungle almost exclusively, you won't be up to par since There's no other role like it and it's a completely different game than any other lane.
: As a Jungle, the biggest meme for me is force-feeding someone kills and having them then say I was..
Yeah that's how it goes if you have teammates that don't understand the game very well. Anyone that's decent should understand what you're contributing.

: Normal Draft :Main role once every 3 games (at best)
I main jg and second top, almost always get it since no one plays it. I get put mid adc or sup before I ever get top though
: you can double HP and regeneration , armor and MR for every champion and the game would be balanced
This would invalidate a lot of mages, assassin's, fighters ... Basically anything but sustain champs would be worthless. Say like your a j4 jungle. You rely on being able to get in use spells and do damage. If your damage only goes half way now you'll never be able to secure the kills. It will come down to being all late game champs like vaynes etc that shred and sustain. That would be a horrible meta

You lose so much health that the enemy jungler can walk in and dark harvest you for being dumb and playing a slow jungler. > Plus there's really no downside to pure damage junglers... they get dibs on the skuttles. > > **We lost, look at the junglers damage** > I just got out of a game as support ZILEAN, 16k damage. > Our bronze jungler had 9.6k gold, randomly ditched us in teamfights. > > I wish there was like a PUBG zone we could spawn, so idiots could group up. > But no they will play 90% jungle pve, and the 10% is some stupid shot-call to dragon when we all lost lanes. > And they'll still have the audacity to call us out for feeding LOL all your gripes come down to inexperienced jungles, playing jungle is a lot different from the other lanes and takes a lot different priorities. So it takes longer to learn, since you have more to focus on than just last hitting minions and doing little trades. Learning how to properly jungle, and also how to properly do it with the champ you selected is a lengthy process, but then you have to know how to play the champ vs the enemy jg and which routes to tank then, and then toss in the variables of all the lanes.... it takes a lot of games to understand how to jungle correctly. The issues is there's 2 kinds of jungles. 1 the ones that main jg and are good at it, and 2 the ones that play jungle because they are scared of laning and want to peacefully farm in the forest.

: Fix Twisted Treeline Ranked System.
on my old account i made it to plat after a ton of games in 3v3. i remember frequently playing with diamond~ players when i was silver and gold, playing games where it was me( silver at the time) with another silver and maybe a gold vs 2 diamond and a plat kind of thing,,,, there's so little balance in skill there it's insane.

As a jungle main i love it, i run around the map get my necessary minions, ward, babysit/ gank lanes, counter jungle. gank vision vision vision, gank, farm a little. I feel like the people that dislike it are the ones that play jg just because they dont know how to play well enough to play a lane, they just want to farm "safely" in jg and still be as strong as a solo laner. If you know how to jungle well enough you shouldn't have any issue staying relatively strong with current jg, and if you gank enough you'll be quite alright, i love where jg is atm, it requires more skill and has shifted from the master yi/ jax farm a bunch in jungle and auto win meta to a more skilled based one.

Doesn't this kind of contradict your earlier advice (that you shouldn't make aggressive plays when your allied laner is weak and can't follow up)? Getting a successful gank on a losing lane is _much_ harder than on a winning one. The advice that I hear for jungling is that you should almost always gank winning lanes, instead of trying to salvage losing ones. If you gank a winning lane, that lane can easily snowball into a victory. But if you try to gank a losing lane, the chances of failing that gank or dying are much higher, and the enemy will just snowball even more.

But if you try to gank a losing lane, the chances of failing that gank or dying are much higher, and the enemy will just snowball even more. it all depends on a few things, as jg you should notice if your lane is losing, if your lane is dumb and is losing while pushing to enemy turret then your basically screwed since you can't gank it and they will just feed, you might get lucky and get counter ganks but it's time consuming and doesn't always work out. but if your lane is losing and the enemy pushes, you as jg have an easy kill on your hands if you jump on it before they start snowballing. I love when enemies push a lane it's free kills for my jarvan! Really it comes down to a simple concept, if you are losing don't push to enemy turret, if you push to enemy turret and keep getting ganked and then the lane snowballs against you there's not much your jg can do to save you. But if you start losing and farm under turret a good jungle should see that as easy kills and come help get you caught back up.
: a tip for fellow junglers
i'm a jungle main, normally play j4 or another jg with very strong ganks. If i go for a gank when my laner is low hp or weak early game, i'm more or less able to solo it and just want my laner to toss out a shot for some kill participation if possible . If my laner has enough hp/ mana and isn't on all cooldowns and i ping that i'm going in, ill be pretty irritated if they don't jump in for a couple shots, since j4 gank at any level is a pretty for sure thing if done right.
: Look at my match history and tell me skill matters in League of Legends.
I'm a jg main Normally if I find my score is too good and I'm losing it's because I've gotten too kill happy and forgot my priorities. I play jungle for the fact that on a champ like j4 I can basically babysit all the lanes, but if I chase kills and creep too much when what's really needed is helping my team then I'll lose with like 14/3/5 kda or something. Gotta make sure to punish the enemy with taking objectives anytime you get an advantage and try to communicate with the team and help them out. To help them a couple times and then ping them to do what you want. Give them some kills when you can and they'll appreciate you and it will get your team ahead. It's not a perfect system but if you can't straight up 1 man carry then it's your best bet
: Jungle & Support summed up in one quote
Watch your lanes well enough, proper vision, and watching the enemy jungles routes/ presence. Keep it all in check and counter jungle, gank, and counter gank properly and make sure to ping your intentions and most times everyone will love you. Most jg just suck at jungle.
