: So, I voted yes because I mostly would like the option. But here's what I feel about the current honor system. The point of it isn't just to say "oh look they had the best score/did the most damage." Take a look at the options we have now: tilt-proof, good leader/shot caller, friendly/team player None of these are about who had the most skill. It's about how the player ***behaved***. And in a gaming community frought with toxicity, I think that's a good thing. You can be the most fearsome warrior on the battle field... have a thousand kills to your name... but that doesn't mean you fight with *honor*. You could easily fight dirty. It just means you're a good fighter. Riot wants us to really consider *honorable* behavior and reward our peers who display it. Because of this, I really understand why Riot doesn't have an option to honor opponents. Unless the enemy is spamming all chat, we really don't get to see enough to know if they are displaying these honorable values of tilt-proof, leadership, or being a team player. That said, sometimes there are games where you and your lane opponent just really have a great back and forth and you really admire/respect them after the battle has concluded. And for that reason I would love an option to honor the enemy. Perhaps it could be limited to 1 enemy honor per 10 games or something, so players aren't completely frivolous with it, or perhaps enemy honors go toward separate rewards or something, idk. But the point is, I really do understand why we currently can't. And I'm pretty okay with it.
i see your point. thanks for your option.

: I've spent a bunch of money on the game LOL but it's like a stress reliever after work for me. It also a side income too lol I make a good 10-15 bucks a day playing league

: I had several games where I wanted to honor someone on the other team for being an honorable opponent...Makes me sad I could not do such.
: Because I still find it enjoyable. Simple as that.
: I like the idea of metabreaking. That's what keeps me around. I never really go into a game with a fully set gameplan, especially in blind matchups. Keeps the game fun even if I risk being a detriment or being ripped apart by my neighbor's Rengar

: I think the main reason we don't have a sort of experience bar for honor is simply that it's not meant to be a grindy system. Most feel that if there was a visual bar showing how close you were, players would be too focused on the grind and not just enjoying the game as normal! With that being said, I feel like most of the purpose behind these checkpoints is just that. A way for you to see how far you've progressed towards the next rank.
i get what your saying, but its always nice to see your progress.

: This game has some of my favorite characters in gaming in it, and the base game itself is just fun. ... but it's really hard to stick around these days, with how bad Riot is becoming and how hard the game quality is tanking. I have nothing else to do though, aside from fall asleep while playing WoW, so I'm kind of stuck until something new comes out.
i see what your saying, thanks for the input.
: Should We Be Able To Honor Our Opponents.

: It's fun to come up with unusual strategies and test new ideas. And it's fun to play characters with satisfying power fantasies.
