: i actually don't believe it's possible to hit iron in TFT. that aside, if you are indeed there, learn how to make compositions on the fly and stop following the guides. the guides are there to further understanding on how pieces come together, you can't aspire to get them from 1-1 though the game would have to give you everything you were looking for at just the right time. also items are much more important than synergies, you can get all the synergies but if your items aren't making them stronger than your comp ain't worth shit and you'll likely lose to some 2 knights, 2 brawlers and a draven comp because he got a rageblade, bloodthirster and ruunaans. so learn how items work, or better yet you will have to fix your brain for it to be alright to build deathcap on Vi. how to learn econ, no idea, it's easier with the latest update though so really you just have to figure out with each game when you should be rolling and when you should be saving, which means planning your games future. do you plan games well? they don't matter unlike real life so some folks will leave their life skills at the door, but as a rule of thumb (half thumb i'm no expert) start saving gold after creep rounds and figure out exactly what you need to find in the shop or carousel. alternatively you can save from carousel to carousel. one other rule of thumb, don't roll past a tenth of your gold. you started the round with 38 gold? don't let it go under 30 unless you're getting a key piece for your comp. don't think you'll get any comp pieces? shoot up on some exp. etc etc etc p.s. some units don't age well surely you already know all this mumbo jumbo if you watch scarra though, i only catch one vid of his a week and i know enough to stumble across diamonds in my normal games, because why would i ever play tft ranked.
And yeah, I've heard all of this. It just seems that everyone I fight in iron also seems to know it. General rule of thumb and all of that.

: Just wanted to bring attention to the Twisted Treeline removal
You know what this will mean? All of those bots that populate TT to level up to 30 will migrate over to SR. Yippy.
