Rather than "unique playstyles", what about "specialist"? It conveys the same sentiment of not fitting perfectly into the existing categories, while itself being a category.

You know the issue with his logic is that MOST junglers that are popular at high elo are early game junglers who will fall off eventually anyway. The idea for them is to grab as many kills and assists *before* that point happens. :/ So they personally don't care how little or how much farm they have; they're out to snowball a lead by killing laners as much as possible before they nose dive out of oblivion. Elise, Lee Sin, Pantheon, these kind of junglers don't *care* particularly how much farm they have. They cripple you by killing you over and over again with their early game damage. This Nunu more than deserved the ban he got but everyone and their mother circle jerked and kicked up a massive shit storm because the reason in their small brained minds was he was just "breaking the meta." No. He's trolling. He's not communicating WITH his team. Communicating WITH a team and communicating AT a team are massively different. Editing to Add: Also, if you notice, 90% of the games he loses are against either junglers who have no interest in farm(Elise, Panth, Lee Sin) or are going to be useful regardless of how much farm they have(Ivern is the big one I see here but also most tank junglers or junglers who can swap to tank, like Gragas, Maokai, etc). This strat is not 100% everytime and has major, gaping flaws that are easily seen from just an outside perspective. :/ He doesn't ever change his game or play style up though, regardless of this. This is a guy who is intentionally feeding and trolling.

Trinity force uses base AD. (Not exactly a skill, but I think it does have a similar damage display.)

I'm curious what unique mechanics you're thinking of, because my vibe is that they've been adding a lot _more_ unique mechanics overall. (e.g. elemental dragons, lots of cool stuff on new/reworked kits)

Sure, that was more in response to the notion of "saves" as "killing someone who's about to kill you". It could probably work for shield/heal based supports.

Having them slow wouldn't make sense, though; the worked ground version is intended to be strictly worse in all aspects (the designer said this explicitly in a post). Adding a slow would make it situationally better.

: No shit sherlock. The point I was trying to make is those are the two gamemodes that are supposedly coming first. I just mentioned that one was literally already out a few months ago, the other was lackluster from what I have read since I never did Ascension myself. It isn't rocket science that if someone doesn't like something, they don't play it. People might like those two and good for them. Although on a technical view it is kinda lazy they wanna do Poro King again when it already happened so recently.
Doing Poro King first makes sense from a testing standpoint; they know it was stable and worked not long ago, so it probably would need the least work to make sure it works again, and lets them iron out any other problems that might come up from the rotating queue in general on a large scale. I've actually heard generally positive things about Ascension, but people are always gonna have different opinions about modes, and usually the negative ones are louder.

Definitely agree that this should be doable out of game, but for now, note that you can also set things in a custom game, where there's no pressure to be actually playing.

What problem is this supposed to solve? I've seen a couple suggestions along these lines, but I'm honestly not sure why it's needed. If the other team is attacking your nexus, then they should be on the point of winning; there doesn't always have to be one more chance to come back.
