: Teemo can rarely be a lane bully anymore.
Teemo is a really weird champion. Can right click dominate some champions, others you pop him whenever you feel like once you get spectre's cowl and boots. [Can't really buff his lane bully aspect to keep up w/ modern times as he scales so well w/ the lategame.](https://lolalytics.com/ranked/worldwide/platinum/plus/champion/Teemo/) Might have some trouble in teamfights, but does that matter when his shrooms are providing huge amounts of damage, control, and influence? As you should. Exploiting a mental condition/disorder such as addiction is a highly predatory and unethical act. That game companies are using real money gambling mechanics in their games w/ no practical spending roof is a shameful act, especially as they encourage additional spending through timed exclusivity, obfuscation of amount spent, and other techniques.

: I wouldn't count Prestige since they're glorified Chromas. Other than that, it's clear Ezreal has gotten too much attention lately.
A number of champs would be lower on the list if glorified chromas were removed. Example: 9 Mu skins, 1 being a recolour, most others being just Mu w/ a new hat. ~3 'real' skins. Of Cho'gaths 7 skins, 2 are just recolours (Loch Ness and Nightmare) etc...

: Bot lane is literally a bullet hell shooter
Mages acting as supports would be fine if they hadn't buffed gold generation so hard, especially for supports. The issue is that even if they aren't able to get any kills, they still scale well enough to be an effective secondary APC. Taking a second core into bot should have some risk to it, but at the moment there really isn't any.
: i give them 3-4 months then noone buys little legends anymore and riot will remove tft saying the same lazy excuse of "not enough ressources sorry". and since the terms of service allow them to do that, theres nothing that anyone can do against it.
Riot is owned by Tencent, and Tencent has a great interest in capturing auto-chess for their home market. The mode is also highly monetizable, unlike Nexus Blitz and Dominion. Auto-chess has also been ported over to the phone market a couple of times already, a market Tencent has wanted League to be in for quite some time. As someone who hates this new genre, I'd be surprised if TFT doesn't last at least 2 or 3 years before going into maintenance mode.
: The game has existed for 10 long fucking years, and the client is still trash?
The client (and everything else) was originally worked on by a few guys who were learning how to do everything as they went along. The project to standardize/modernize the skins directory system and naming conventions itself was a huge multi-month undertaking, don't envy the team that is/would have to fix the client's code.
: Well they had to put a bunch of work into their premium LCS pass So just gotta wait for the premium launcher
@Thread - Probably a leftover side-effect from when the client was being worked on by a few people who were learning how to do every little thing for the first time because they didn't want to use a third party to do their shop, hosting, etc... Admittedly, it is hilarious how one of the biggest games going-on several consecutive years, generating billions in revenue, has a client that would be unacceptable for even an actual smol indie company's debut multiplayer title. @Rustles - Never bought a pass, was that point in-and-of-itself sarcastic? When I used to buy the Dota's Battle Passes those things were getting fancier and fancier, and they were already killer around 2014.

Which is a pretty big change from their early days. There was this Anivia 'guide' on YouTube where someone posted a video of them griefing a practice game, one or two of the guys teammates allegedly showed up and said that they hadn't reported him. Despite this, the guy received one or two bans, and even had take down requests on his video (or was it DMCA'd?). Not sure if that was the right thing to do, but it is surely much closer to it than just ignoring the problem when it is being done in ranked and is most definitely being reported constantly.

: My favorite part of Sylas is how people deny him being overloaded, because he has to be for his kit to work. The man has a knock up, slow, aoe, waveclear, a dash, a shield, a heal, an execute, and a solid 401K plan from his job. I get he needs a knock up so he can use Yasuo ult, but a heal? Really? Why? Why a shield? Why a dash? Why can't his E just have the second effect the first time? Don't forget this man can take ANY ULT in the game and give it an AP scaling because...reasons. All those champs with bad AP scaling because they have high base damage and kits that are meant to utilize other stats? You know, {{champion:63}} with his liandry's DoT, {{champion:31}} who is supposed to go tanky with maybe 1 AP item, {{champion:79}} the tanky champ with maybe an AP item but here's a high base damage just in case. Yeah Sylas just takes those and fucking nukes with them, but that's fine because he's melee (except for his Q which lets him poke and CS from a safe distance).
> a solid 401K plan from his job. No clue what any of this means. >I get he needs a knock up so he can use Yasuo ult Sylas is supposed to run into some issues with ults (ex: lack of marks for Diana's ult), so no clue why they'd make an exception, especially if it harms one of their most popular champions. >but a heal? Really? Why? Why a shield? He's an AP bruiser that needs to be stuffed with mitigation/drain tank mechanics in order to function due to Riot's refusal to add AP Bruiser itemization.

As well as the E nerf that is totally the problem of irelia. If you look at what riots doing it rather seems they intentionally go out of their way to keep the same champs problematic so they have some work to do touching anything else than some random numbers changes might mean they have to actually put in some thought into their work and that's all busy work and honestly: who wants that? Working for your pay? Pah not at r%%%%%o gems. : Over the last several years, Lol has not declined - it’s gotten better
I don't get it, you keep mixing lobby experience in w/ the actual game. The old Battlefront II on console had an insanely poor online experience, does actually being playable online make Battlefront II the better game? (bonus points because League took years to not have long periods of downtime at random intervals) Role selection was a great improvement, but that's separate from the game. Client's quality would be a joke even for a new developer's title that has a userbase of 400 unique players every day. You talk about how competitive games can't have a vast array of viable builds and need optimal build paths, Dota's the most competitive /hardcore AoS around and you have several build options and niche picks on virtually every champion. You praise new new champion designs when they're just overloading to the point where they make simpler designs obsolete. I mean, just look at Zoe's W, that one ability could pretty much be an entire champion's kit by itself. The whole previous season was just recent releases being broken, supposedly the pro scene is also dominated by recent champs and reworks. The whole 'skill expression' design meme also negatively impacts players by heavily limiting their champion pool and usually just means "How many mechanics can we fit into each ability? ALEX, GET THE BETTING POOL STARTED, WE'RE GOING IN!." Recent releases and reworks have been pushing "maybe 10 games to get them down" champion mastery curves to "oh yeah, 30 games before the learning lines stops being a cliff's face, let's go!" And you're complaining about Sylas being forced because he can steal ults? Sylas' ult is just Rubick's hamstrung.

It is true that if you're deciding to go off-meta, you can still count your lucky stars that at least 50% of your team isn't going to be happy with you. Probably won't reduce the flaming and raging all that much. Communication with your allies is key because it at least gives them the opportunity to adjust their builds and picks so that they aren't screwed over by your strategy. Want to have the support lane w/ someone else? Bottom needs to rethink their build and pick. Solo laners may need to switch to a gold-reliant pick over a more common exp-reliant pick. Double jungle? Need laners who can get lane priority. Switching from one type of damage to another? etc...

But ADCs aren't accepting of not having a support at their beck and call, nor are they caring and nurturing people, in fact, they are absolutely horrendous and abusive people. You can't make me go back there, I can't go back there... https://i.imgur.com/9mTO7Oc.gif[] Overall great post though.
: Ezreal isn't the only one to abuse it, but even then, why is it fair for him to be able to build CDR, armor, and have slows on his Q while being one of the safest champions in the game? Same thing with Karma. She's ranged, has a haste, a root, and a slow, why is it fair that she can build IBG?

She's ranged, has a haste, a root, and a slow, why is it fair that she can build IBG? Tank Karma is also underwhelming until she hits her two item powerspike. Whether going utility or artillery, you're good from the get-go. As Tank Karma, you might be crazy once online, but it does take a while. Supposedly that build's now crazy out of line due to that buff that somehow getting through.
: They already tried to "diversify" the Support role by adding champions such as Bard, who are designed to roam and be impactful across the whole map instead of being tied to one single lane. Not only that, but they completely changed all of the Support items, added damage for support items, and have enabled more champions to be impactful at Support. Riot is not at fault, it's everyone who plays League of Legends. The players are what make the game. Obviously you don't remember the times of Mordekaiser ADC, which dominated for a while. Riot has tried for years to break the Bottom lane meta, but that simply is not what the majority of players want. It doesn't matter what drastic champions and mechanics Riot introduces into the game, players stick to what they know and the entire game revolves around it.
They changed Lulu's kit to only be useful as a buff-bot, they reworked Taric's power budget to needing a better level 2, damage is so high that poking supports cannot realistically outplay a strong all-in when roaming, implemented utility scaling to shackle early power, removed Soraka's waveclear in her rework, have primarily focused on making ADCs the mandatory class for ~8 years of LoL's existence, made bot lane's turret squishier and gave it an extremely influential objective that spawns early into the game.. One or two token changes into changing the meta does not a "it's just the players" make.
: Karma mains asked for a gameplay update. We did not ask for number buffs.
Why a gameplay update when they could do a gameplay revert? Better yet, separate her into Karma and Darha. Might alleviate some of the tug-of-war issues between her 'flexible utility battlemage' fans and the 'she's a support' fans.
: The Nightblue3 problem.
>Tbh, this trade is better for your team You’re better adc he’s better jungle and if your ego is too big to trade then it implies you’re trying to lose (same with people not giving me jungle not as if I dersetve it. It’s in the teams best interest - Tarzaned [This is your mind on streaming.](https://twitter.com/LoLTarzaned/status/1136402005642158080)
: X champion doesn't belong in Y lane
Jungle Twitch has been a thing since at least Season 2 and is just cheese. Might as well complain about Rengar laning. Yeah, it's pretty oppressive, but as long as they aren't chainfed they've committed to playing a role that's really sub-optimal and is shut down just by being cautious.
: Roaming Teemo Support 3-Step Guide
>Optional Step 2.5: When mentioning your performance, boost the win rate about 20%, that way when it turns out you actually lose a majority of the time, you can fall back on people who believed you without checking. IIRC, he said "with this strategy", not "with Teemo". 1) At the end of the Riot v. Singed controversy it was stressed "You can do off-meta strategies, just be sure to _communicate_ with your team about it." : X
