I understand that. But this is not the situation at hand. Using your analogy, this is more along the lines of them insisting on maintaining an unhealthy diet even though others have suggested not to. I proceed to then say, you are not eating healthily. I am not attacking their character, I am stating their behavior.

: That's not what delusional means.
"based on or having faulty judgment; mistaken"
: Submitted a ticket to Riot Support and was told that
Just an update. "Even though they are facts, if they negatively affect others, it's not okay." Wow.
: How do you flame someone in game with your actions?
No..not flame I mean delusional players. Eg. a gank jungler insisting on farming instead of ganking. And yet somehow ends up with less farm and ganks. Like bad plays, in general.
: There is a feature in the menus, which is called show allied chat. Untick the box.
Yeah I know I've seen it. But it's more the actions not the words.
: I feel your the delusional one here... Even if he was trolling, you basically said "This guy is trolling" "You are useless" "I refuse to talk to you" "Keep being bad" "You should be banned" And you ask whats toxic about that?
I can't attach the screenshot in this comment but feel free to look at op.gg Here are the stats Him: Plat 2. 5/9/3 (32%kp) 10,295 dmg 1 ward 126 cs 4.6/m Enemy JG: Silver 2. 16/3/6 (49%kp) 17,149 dmg 5 wards 128 cs 4.7/m So he has less CS and less ganks and I am wrong to say that he is definitely boosted and should be reported? How did I say he was ueless? I refuse to talk to him because that is was Riot tells all of us to do. "just mute!" No, I said keep farming. If he believes thats what will win the game. And that is why he is delusional. He insists if he farms he will win and he ends up with less farm and less gank.
: I agree with the riot support The entire thing is just you harassing anon and asking players to report them. Plus... Considering how bad NA is, a foreign jg would probs be better than a NA jungler.
That is not what I mean by tourist jg. It is a term I use to refer to junglers who are "tourists" eg. not doing anything on the map other than wandering around. Doing sightseeing, like a tourist.
: I agree with the riot support The entire thing is just you harassing anon and asking players to report them. Plus... Considering how bad NA is, a foreign jg would probs be better than a NA jungler.
I did not ask anyone to report him. How did I harass him? This was what happened in-game.

Certainly not successful for the average player. The success in a game should be about how much fun the average joe can derive from it, not how much money the devs make from it...Just look at all the "great" titles in gaming, where are their profits? Certainly not as huge as Riot's, I admit. But are they less successful than League? Furthermore, if the system actually worked: then why is the quality of player base still so bad? Why are people still complaining about it? We are at the end of Season 9, and this is still a persisting issue? Do you still mean to insist that the system is fine? When it comes to the gaming industry, playerbase size and profit margins CERTAINLY are the biggest factors in "success". My favorite game for a while was Awesomenauts. Unfortunately, it was not successful because the playerbase remained too small, the profits too little, and the game was just stagnant with few and far between updates (because less profit=less employees=less updates). I had tons of fun playing it. That doesnt make it successful in a capitalist economy dude. Youre talking fantasy fairy tale shit. "Its successful if some people have a lot of fun playing it!" No. Crash Commandos on ps2 was the fucking shit. I got so good at it and wished more people played it, but it was always the same damn people. I enjoyed it so much that its literally the only game in my 33 years of life, that i got to the number 1 spot on the leaderboards for total points earned. First in the world! (I found an exploit to infinitely chain kills for bonus multipliers lol) but the game does NOT go down in history as a successful game.
Right, so you have basically agreed with me...I don't understand your comment here. The standards of success are screwed. Profit > fun, why are you trying to maintain the status quo when I am suggesting we do something better?

Grammarly is doing this for free and you are telling me yall can't manage to do this over a prestige skin? Come on man. Grammarly doesn't look at context in the way that would mean anything as far as behavior. It looks at context that's important to grammar. Not context that's important to behavior. Finding out if "affect" or "effect" should be used does nothing for deciding if the player was being passive aggressive.
So effectively, they can examine context based on whatever goal they want to reach. Do you sincerely believe that Riot is incapable of developing such a tool?
: Context is used by the IFS to determine punishments. Context is also conversed about in several threads on PB. There are no rules against talking about the context of a chat log. **Context IS used to determine if some part of a chatlog was against the rules or not.** **Context IS NOT going to be used to determine if it was acceptable to break the rules or not.** Context never makes breaking the rules acceptable.

: Please just fix your system.
I don't have the time to reply to every comment. But from what I have glimpsed through, a lot of the comments just have not read my previous responses properly. If you read and think about what I have said, I'm sure you will find answers in my responses. It is undeniable that if Riot improved this system, the game will be better too. So, I do not understand why yall are complaining LOL. "Hate the game, not the players."
: Are you going to pay for this 'context based review'? Or are you going to create a program that can do that as well as a human? If so, be my guest, you'll likely win a nobel prize for something that scientifically out of reach.
If I am a Riot employee and am getting paid for it, it is my job to do so. But I am not, am I? Your questions about a solution should be directed at a Riot not at a person who is highlighting the issue, don't you think? Furthermore, I think you have not been paying attention to the news; at least with regards to A.I. development.

: So... people who are doing good should be allowed to flame those doing bad... because it "helps"? It doesn't help. Period. This is confirmed by multiple studies done of online gaming. You cannot argue that it's "no absolute truth" because it **is** truth.
Whatever floats your boat buddy. P.s. never say studies confirm anything. Scientifically, studies can only affirm. I am sorry but you are just wrong. I have literally won games through flaming, so I do not know what you are on about. If you are playing bad, just accept it and improve lol. Why you gotta report people for telling the truth. Sounds awfully butthurt to me.
rujitra (NA)
: And in what context is flaming okay? Flaming **never** makes someone play better. Flaming **does not** make trolls stop flaming. So congratulations - you now instead of having one person who's feeding and playing bad, you now have someone creating a negative environment in chat making it much harder for the remaining team members to focus and communicate with each other. Context is not important because there is no context in which flaming/harassment is helpful or useful to the game - and in every case, it is actually in fact detrimental to the chances of winning and the team's coordination.
I can tell you it does. I play on the Chinese server and flamed my way to plat one. Denying you are bad is not a way to improving. That should be common sense. Context is contribution to the team, cc, kda, vision, objectives, i dont think i need to list any more. The Chinese server has been doing this, all I am suggesting is that the remaining regions do it too. It is not fact, there is no absolute truth to flaming being detrimental. If it is a fact then it needs to be 100% true, all the time. But it simply has not been, one case where it is not true will disintegrate your claim that it is detrimental. Are you still willing to maintain that it is a fact?
rujitra (NA)
: Because you can't solve everything in the world. The world still has murderers, thieves, rapists, . This is after thousands of years of trying to stop it. Let me ask you this - how would you improve the system?
Very simple, introduce context based review. Grammarly is doing this for free and you are telling me yall can't manage to do this over a prestige skin? Come on man.

: Please ensure your comment is complete instead of "jumping the gun" and replying before you're done - doing so makes it much harder to follow the fragmented conversation. Yes, the system is fine. **A very small minority of players complaining does not mean there is a problem**. The quality of the player base is still bad **because of flaming and toxic behavior** - and allowing people to flame/be toxic would not make the playerbase better. **Every game** has trolls. Flaming trolls does not make them stop flaming. Period.
Your explanation is contradictory. The player base is "still bad because of flaming [...]", yet the system is fine? How can the system be fine if the issue is still here after 8 years? If the system was fine, these people should have been gone long before.

: ***
I agree, but it is because there are individual games that they enjoy. They do not love the game itself. Personally, I feel like I am taking a gamble every time I queue up. I can either get really one-sided games where we win or lose, or a genuinely entertaining game where the teams are even. Unfortunately, the odds are so poor.
rujitra (NA)
: He was punished for overt racism against the players on the server. It does not matter what others are doing, racism is not okay. Period. These "rank 1 players" are not who Riot gives a fuck about. Riot cares about the millions of "normal" players who play the game and want to see a game free from toxic behavior that ruins their experience. Sure, Riot could be like CSGO and other games and allow people to flame all they want - but look at how successful League is compared to these games (hint: more successful).
"successful"? You mean profit for Riot, right? Certainly not successful for the average player. : Gotta love this
See, even TFBlade got into this as well. The system is just plain garbage and no one has bothered to fix it. https://www.dexerto.com/league-of-legends/league-of-legends-tf-blade-slams-riot-after-ban-during-world-record-attempt-981953
: Ive heard the standards are different for different regions, but I have no way of really knowing that.
Well I played there for five years, got to plat one, everything was fine. I just logged back into my NA smurf account for fun a week ago.
: Are you confused why you recieved a punishment? Is there something you want to discuss about the system?
Not really, there is no discussion. It is just still garbage. (In comparison to CN at least)
Comentários de Rioters
: But that implies you have a single correlation to even support your case....
: You got a statistic for showing that the average mac player was actually worse? And adding a higher cost to League by increasing requirements wouldn't increase skill either. Money=!skill.
As I have mentioned, this is simply a correlational conjecture.
