: >whenever I see riot and marc merill posting about their GiRlS cAn CoDe on social media I laugh. Yea sure, more virtue signaling and woke programs will fix your shitty client for how many years now? I mean it's poorly worded but this person isn't wrong. When you hire someone not because **they're capable of doing the job** but rather **because they suit your "diversity quota"** you end up with incompetent employees. Would you ever allow a non dentist to guilt trip you into paying them for dentistry rather than going to an accredited dentist regardless of their sexual orientation, skin color, religious/political affiliation being seen as inherently "bad" by others? No? I didn't think so. Don't hire people that make your company *look* good, hire people that can do their appointed job(s) and ***that*** will make your company look good to us consumers.

I doubt it’s related. I’m sure there’s plenty of talented women/minority coders out there, as well as within the company. The standards and expectations that allow such a garbage product to maintain for this long start from the top, and proceed to trickle down. It’s a failure at the top to allow such mediocrity, and it wouldn’t matter who is developing what - when your superiors don’t really care or demand high quality, this will naturally drive down quality regardless of the talent level of those who actually produce it

: You guys are all full of shit.... a year ago I met a couple of buddies in league who I used to always play with. Then all of the sudden one of them got his computer privileges revoked (school pc) and hasnt been on in 4 months. A month later the other friend got arrested according to his brother and hasnt been on since. It was sad, ill admit.. kind of wanted to stop playing league... we used to always run games, always us 3 together. But after about a week of playing other games... GTAV.. MGTA...Skyrim... CIV6.. PES19... Battlefield 1942 (private server)... AOE2... Brawhalla... and a fuk toooon more in my libraries.. There was just one thing evident. League of legends is the most quick fun you can have out there... All I kept thinking is how I wanted to blast someone with Lux's ult or gank someone with Warwick. The game is just the best right now. So thats why you guys are full of shit... u complain and complain.. but deep inside we all know why we're here.. We love this fucking game. ps. Only one game has gotten my attention off LoL a little bit recently.... the old king of games and where LoL kinda comes from anyways... WoW. lvl 40 Warlock babyyy

WoW. lvl 40 Warlock babyyy I never claimed to not love the game. My affinity with the game mostly comes from past experience, and I yearn to relive similar experiences in the game. There are plenty of games I can have fun in too. I still have my consoles (n64 and gamecube), single player games on steam that I enjoy (quake campaigns, duke 3d, redneck rampage), and doom2 and modding for doom2. I still do these things, too, when I have the time.
: A misconception is that macro doesn't matter at all when that couldn't be further from the truth. Granted, some champions can be more obnoxious than others, and Riven can be r%%%%%ed to play with/against ((i already know who that's directed at.)) But, at the same time, it's really hard to read this while also knowing you play a champion that has been repeatedly used by higher level players to hit challenger with 70+% winrates while playing solo. And if your post was at all accurate, then these players would never have been able to do that. It logically makes no sense. Looking at general mechanics, having played in a lot higher mmr ranges . . . top lane player mechanics are very similar to a master or challenger. ((When it comes to these particular champions I think it's pretty true. Nasus can only click Q so many ways.)) So, the only exception between the two would be. You guessed it. Macro. I'm also not a fan of the new skins, or any of that. I'm not a fan of aftershock pyke building bruiser + assassin while being tanky. And there are indeed some frustrations fighting some champs. But honestly? Climbing is still definitely possible. And. In my honest opinion. I feel the majority of people don't know how to bite the bullet and dodge games that would be frustrating to play, and they partially create their own misery. I feel it's the most underutilized ability we players have. Instead, most diamond/plat players would rather eat a loss and spend 39 minutes complaining instead of just xing out of the client for 3 lp and noping out of it all together. Additionally, I have learned ((top laners especially)) have absolutely 0 respect for junglers, mid laners, and their own lane match up. It's at such a bad state of disrespect now that it's hard to even feel sorry for the players and makes them even more abuseable. I don't even like iwilldominate and he blatantly disproved hashinshin's complaints with one single sweep. Hashinshin had at least 10k games as Jax, and IWD, in just a month, outranked him with a better winrate with the same champs. And he's a jungle main. It really puts into perspective when the jungler out ranks you in your own game and you still refuse to listen to the concept of respecting lanes and junglers. And that there, is where most top laners create their own misery. So, if you don't enjoy the game. That's cool,a lot of us don't from time to time. But, don't imply X doesn't matter, and X is impossible, and X is the only way to play when that is simply false.

The problem with your response is that you make the assumption that I claim macro doesn’t matter. That is not what I said. I said it is less emphasized, and micro play is far more important. This doesn’t discount or invalidate macro play, because got macro play to be totally scrapped would be impossible - the game couldn’t function. So please, don’t twist my words here: I am acknowledging that macro works. I am simply stating that it is less emphasized, coming from a place where macro was far more emphasized in the past. I admit I’m guilty for not making the distinction of past gameplay clear, but that’s what I’m alluding. You can win with macro play, its just incredibly frustrating to do.

My computers specs are more than adequate enough to run the game. While it is dated (6 years old to be exact), it still has enough RAM, a sufficient enough processor, and a new 240gb SSD that helps significantly improve performance in addition to a 2tb HD. The game runs perfectly fine for me, I never have a single issue. Then the client attempts to open and sometimes I’ll wait 2-3 minutes just to go from end of the game to lobby. It literally hijacks my entire system when it does this too. I’ve also lost games because client has froze in the middle of champ select. Moreover, many of us have other things we invest our money in. I’ve got a house, cars, student debt, a family, etc. to maintain. I don’t have 1.2k to drop on a new PC whenever I feel like it. Most people are running on relatively dated PC’s (admittedly not as dated as mine though I’ve dine updates). People shouldn’t have to compete with the client just to play the game, and this is a común experience for most people. That doesn’t mean everyone of us has a toaster, and that’s especially true when you consider none of us have an actual problem with the game itself - just the client.

Yes I believe in stereotypes because they are usually correct. Is it stereotypical to look at a man in cowboy boots and hat, a woman with a baby carriage, and an elderly woman sitting in a diner and assume that the man drives the truck, the elderly woman drives the Cadillac, and the woman with the baby drives the mini van sitting in the parking lot? Is it stereotypical to have 2 suspects in a robbery; one young man with pants half way down his legs and an hoodie and the other a middle aged woman in formal attire and assume the man is the culprit? Is it stereotypical to get an anonymous invitation to a drinking party placed into your pocket and turn around to see a man in suspenders and a man in a football jersey and assume the man in the jersey was the one who invited you? ######I only included dress/age in these to avoid racial problems.

There’s no point in continuing this discussion if you can’t differentiate between superficial stereotypes and deep rooted ones. And even then the examples you gave could still be contrary to what you expected, so the lack of skepticism in your own biases shows how poor of a thinker you are.

It’s the area of the country where factory work is most known, ranging from steel plants to even basic processing plants. In the 80s, the automotive industry went into a decline, which prompted the idea of outsourcing the industry to restore its power. This led tin NAFTA, which resulted in American automotive factories leaving the USA to go to other countries to pay their workers a fraction of what they paid ours, while doing it with the material being at a fraction of a cost as well. This really hurt Detroit, since their economy depended on this. The decline began in the late 70s, the death was official after NAFTA in the 90s. Between the heroin epidemic of the 60s and the crack epidemic of the 70s, the city just hasn’t caught a break. A once proud and powerful symbol of the United States in automotive ingenuity and toughness is now the symbol of a broken, forgettable city that bears the burden of being the “slum city” of the United States. It’s stereotyped as unsafe, dangerous, and a place to avoid. Truthfully, Detroit has recovered rather well in the last 10 years. Certainly there’s a lot to be done there, but it’s not nearly the menace that most the country makes it out to be. It’s still the bud of most jokes, but don’t get it twisted - there’s tons of history and significance in Detroit. It’s just a city that has been damaged the most by the direction of our economy in the last 30 years.

: Where's this popular belief? No one thinks he's performing great. However, he needs to have a rough start for his late game power and many can't handle that. He's actually in an ok spot. A lot of the losses are likely from inexperienced doggos that expect jg to babysit them. Source: half the doggos I run into.

Read your next sentence, you implied that he doesn’t have a rough start. And his pickrate is sitting between 2-4%, which is not just some random nobodies playing him. That’s mostly his mains.

: how come I can two trick 2 champions that are pretty easy to lock in vicious counterpicks to and I never feel like I autolose if I'm first pick

Let’s be real: most people don’t actually know how to play against her, and additionally she’s going to crush any melee match-up she’s in.

: LOL > but that’s mostly a low elo sentiment Jax is sitting at a 51+% across all Elos and all regions. Then when you look at Masters+ it goes UP to 53.5% He also has pretty decent Ban/Pick rates as well across all elos.

But now that he can max E second, he’s having much more success in melee lanes he didn’t typically have success in. No he wasn't. Stop pretending like Jax is healthy. He's been complete cancer ever since they released him.

Stop pretending like Jax is healthy. He's been complete cancer ever since they released him. No offense my dude, but that’s mostly a low elo sentiment. His kit isn’t really all that bad - just basic and generic, dated. He has nothing on the new bruiser kits, just stats. And at this point he’s spent more time being trash than viable while not ever really truly being “weak.” The fact is, he’s a hard scaling champion with tools that allow him to fight, but at a limited amount. In other words, he’s a noob stomper. Now, naturally with recent item and keystone additions, that’s less true. And that’s why he never needed a buff, and it’s why he was fine before until he got SoS.

: He was broken before they buffed his 'q'. Now Riot not only has to nerf him because of the buff, but they have to nerf him in some other way as well, because he was broken before they buffed him.

: Pantheon mains in all regions are quitting in droves
If you’re asking me to feel bad, sorry I don’t. Good riddance to old pantheon, and if anyone who played him didn’t see a problem with his design, good riddance to them too.

: Darius has a 32% banrate
As someone who always bans him, I don’t ban him because I find him overpowered. Nasus is my main and has been since I started in s2. If I don’t like what I’m looking at, he’s always my safe go-to pick. Darius is one of Nasus’ hardest counters and of all his hard counters, it requires the Darius to know little about the match up. Other champions like Olaf, Aatrox and Jayce are much harder counters, but they are much harder to play than Darius. That, and when you consider the range between plat - low diamond is full of Darius flash/ghost OTPs, it’s an easy ban because they feed hard af when they don’t get Darius lol. So yeah, I don’t think he’s OP - just annoying and a reliable ban.
