Just state your side and exit the conversation gracefully rather than give them the opportunity to pick a fight. I have this cool new one *pew pew*" I think it could open up interesting double adc bot gameplay. Something where they need to be near each other for full effectiveness if both are on the same team. More impactful than the xayah rakan combo, but still not punishing individually if they arent played as a duo. More damage in exchange for not having a support.

: the 15 minute surrender
If it takes the incredibly fed carry 30 minutes to end the game, they clearly arent that fed. Also, if you're still playing at 30 minutes, your 20 minute surrender also failed so your complaints about the 5 'yes' requirement is moot. I've won many games where people failed to surrender at 15. Nut up buttercup and actually play the game beyond the first 5 minutes.

: People keep screaming censorship... Honestly, one of the biggest reasons Riot and Blizzard (and other companies) prevent representatives from speaking out about this is for those people's own safety. While your random Joe Schmoe saying something about it isn't likely to draw government attention, someone of "power" - be it an influencer (youtuber/instagrammer/etc), a professional athlete (not even highest level, just any in general), etc.... that person is going to be on the radar of the government officials. The situation (without getting too political) is such that someone may be arrested and detained for an indefinite period of time if China can get their hands on them. I guarantee you that these sorts of "extrajudicial detainment" have already happened to individuals in China/HK who have spoken out against the actions of China (or, by extension, in support of HK). So no, it's not censorship for the sake of being a jerk or trying to please someone - the biggest thing is the safety of League of Legends players who are representing the game on a large scale.

: How to place issues with matchmaking has been a persistent problem for a while now. It has mostly to do with how we curate the Boards. Curation is different from moderation. With moderation, we're removing things that make the boards a worse place. This is mostly insults, but does include things like discussions that tend to lead to arguments, offensive content and hate speech. This is the majority of what we do. Curation is where we try to make the Boards more usable, which basically comes down to trying to encourage posts that are helpful and relevant. One of the main complaints we get is about the large amount of low-effort or misplaced content. That's because people go into the various sub-boards expecting to see specific kinds of content. If everything was just in one big lump, no one would ever find anything. You don't pick up Sports Illustrated to find recipes for easy, one-pot dinner recipes. That's curation in action. We get a ton of complaints about Gameplay, which is why we created RANT. We also have a couple of other things we're working on for that Board, but it's slow going. Which brings us back to your content. The problem with matchmaking as a gameplay topic is that it's not something players can manipulate. The choice to duo queue is very binary and the effect of that choice is largely under the hood. We don't have specifics on how that choice affects matchmaking, so the majority of the conversation defaults to complaining about it how it creates unbalanced situations, which in turn activates observation bias. Riot's algorithms highly prioritize speed of matchmaking over quality. They also use different MMR's for different environments and different positions. When you see what appears to be an example of poor matchmaking, is it because the available pool was small and they did the best they could? Is it because someone got auto-filled? Is it because they were bored and casually queued for a position they don't normally play? For all these reasons, it's simply not possible to look at a specific match and say "these people were selected because Brittany and Joe decided to queue together." It also not possible to speak authoritatively about the size of the difference duo queuing makes. This means most posts about this topic really belong in RANT, because they don't inform or engage the reader beyond the complaint. Your post was significantly more reasoned than most - especially in the responses - but it's still a judgement call on the part of the moderator. I might have let this one go. This moderator chose otherwise and I can't really fault them for that. As for where the thread should have lived? Probably GD? As I said, that's always been a problem for discussions about matchmaking. I feel like a well-articulated complaint does better there than anywhere else. It gets more responses and better visibility.

So if you guys dont know, let alone have any rules, about where to put matchmaking threads, why are high quality threads being removed? Arbitrary curating creates far more confusion than finding a certain thread topic in different, but closely related, boards every so often.

Because choosing to be offended presumably makes you feel all sad and teary. If you just ignore it, voila, you wont feel bad about what some stranger on the internet says! You might even play better. Besides, i've seen what people here on the boards consider "verbal abuse". A lot of times, it's statements from their teammates that are short and blunt. Why would they want to write 3 paragraphs to protect your sensitivities and be distracted from their own lane when 5 words will do.
Whooppy (NA)

That's probably because having to use discord just to contact you is inconvenient. In addition to that, mods aren't exactly known for being reasonable, especially when their actions are challenged. Despite what may appear to be an error, I'm sure most people would not even bother because part of them thinks it's a fruitless endeavor.

: New player's most asked questio: Kai'sa is a Assasin or Adc???
I would love to see the raw data from the survey which supports your title. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure what your point is? You're complaining about an "assassin" that doesnt spike at 1 item?
: No, heres my problem with what you wrote. Saying botlane is the weakest lane is bullshit. They are made weak early because they become gods and dictate the match every point onward. Pretty sure we wanted adcs nerfed in the first place because we were tired of them being the be all end all for every match, and by reverting said nerfs they got, we've returned to it once again. They shouldn't be deciding everything period. The results of the match should. Soloqueue right now just comes down to, "Who has the better adc". You dont climb with skill, you climb by being a babysitter. Its disgusting.
Go on. Tell me what class of champions is weaker than an adc before 3 items? Tanks? They spike pretty hard at 1-2 items. Mages? Also spike pretty hard at 1-2 items. To save some time, everything that isn't meant to be a late game hyper carry spikes pretty hard at 1-2 items. Perhaps you should deal with reality instead of trying to make arguments based on your feelings.
: No, the reason why they go bot is because bot decides everything. Whats the point of playing out our lane if camping our ADC means we win the game? Tank meta did exactly this, and now this damage meta is becoming the tank meta, minus the defense. Tanks just dont live period. Everything kills them. A tank right now isn't able to eat damage for more than a second without being left at 10% HP. But hey, instead of trying to find the right solution, lets just keep everything the same and nerf bruisers- oh wait that brings tanks back, which paired with how adcs are right now, means we'll be back in a tank meta...so lets nerf adcs- oh wait, they'll complain they are too weak, so the changes will get reverted. Case you cant understand that, we'll be in a endless cycle where by keeping everything the same (even if you nerf bruisers), ADCs will still be top dog. This is why crit needs a rework, and mages need a rework.
Are you even reading what I wrote because my response to your latest post is already included in my first 2? Your hyperbole usage shows that you dont actually have a sound argument.
: Idk, pretty sure solo lanes and jungler go bot during the first 25-30 minutes because bot is all that really matters end of the day. Why else did TP get nerfed? Why else does Top and Jg feel like a shithole? And if they decide the game by 3+ items, then whats the fucking point of picking anything else damage? That is the very reason why the tank meta was birthed.
Sounds like they are doing exactly what I said by deciding the game early. There are multiple reason to go bot. 1) Dragon Control. 2) Botlane is the weakest lane early and as such can be an easier way for roamers to get a lead 3) Getting your botlane ahead means they will be able to hit 3 items sooner. Tanks are by no means weak. For some reason people like you want them to live forever against a full build adc.
: No, but at the same time im trying to prevent a ADC Meta 2.0 from happening by changing crit. Soloqueue sure as hell feels like its decided by who has the better adc.
You're complaining about late game adcs who should be deciding the game once they get 3+ items. Guess who decides the game for the first 25-30 minutes. That's right. The solo lanes and jungler.
: Shouldn't crit get reworked into a auto modifier instead of a chance to double damage?
So what you're suggesting is that every adc be like{{champion:22}} Can you just imagine the tank meta that would follow?
