: In some fairness, Ekko has lower damage than most assassins early game. It's just that when he gets snowballing, that damage now starts coming from being ahead of the enemy, more than it being in his kit, but that's what I've personally been experiencing. I could be wrong in my observation, but most Ekkos when ahead, I've found, have a hard time killing anyone who isn't stunned, not without his ult.

This is why he excels in the jungle, and his lane win rates are more in tune with what you've expect. Targets will already be at 75-50% health, and he has a far too easy time getting to them and sticking to them.

: How about approaching it from the opposite direction and having highly mobile champions take increased damage from skill shots?
Honestly you would think the tradeoff for mobility would be damage output or survivability, but mobility generally gives them both. They are more reliably able to put out damage, while also avoiding it from the enemy. It's why I don't mind champions who have one or two gapclosers but no escapes. If they mess up, they're punished for it. It's why I said I'd take a {{champion:121}} or {{champion:107}} any day, because if they fail the engage, they're very likely screwed (even though their damage output is generally so ridiculously high due to the idiocy that is {{item:3147}}.) Champions like {{champion:84}}, {{champion:555}}, {{champion:245}}, and several others all have enough tools to get them in and out of a fight if it goes badly for them.

: Yasuo's Q - Why Is It Not Coded As AoE?
Interesting. So after further testing it is true that only the first hit applies the full 15% heal, though that's still an odd feature to me. Only a few champions have it on an ability that hits more than one target, such as {{champion:21}} healing the full 15% on both hits of her Q (if they land). With Vel'koz, if I were to build Hextech Revolver, my Q would only heal for the AoE damage amount of 5% despite its first hit being a single target spell. It would be nice if it was more uniform across the board, I guess, but definitely not as game breaking as I had originally thought... though he does still heal for a metric butt-ton thanks to his high DPS across the board. Thanks for the input all!

: Why is Yuumi banned so much in the LCS?
For one, her Q has basically zero counterplay and deals a crapton of easy poke damage. Second, because she has no need of flash, she can take heal, allowing her ADC to take teleport to get back to lane (with her attached) to gain an EXP and gold advantage over their opponent.

Actually, I just looked up the skin spotlight and that beacon above your head in the video wasn't even appearing at all for those of us in the game. All we seemed to be getting was the shadow, which explains why it was so dark and hard to see. Perhaps it's just bugged? IDK.

Oh. Well, this explains why she's getting two or three autos off on me after I slow her with my Q as Vel'koz after she dashes on top of me. That's fun.

: Sylas
Sylas, for a "jack of all trades", is far too efficient in all regards. Poke. Soft CC. Hard CC. Shield. Untargeted dash. Targeted dash. Heal. 5 different possible ults, all with varying degrees of CC, healing, etc. I genuinely don't understand what Riot doesn't seem to get about "we don't need more champions with novels for their ability descriptions." Not every ability needs two, three, four or five different effects to it. His base ratios and AP ratios are WAY off for someone who can literally do it all.

: I hope CertainlyT reworks Volibear
Warwick was disgustingly overtuned for months after his rework. Nearly everything this idiot does has to be changed again and again. Are his designs unique? Sure. Are they fun to play? Sure. Are they healthy or fun to play against? 95% of the time, absolutely not. He needs to be removed from the Dev team.
: Renekton is really unfun to play against
{{item:3161}} just needs to be deleted / nerfed hard. Idiots at Riot HQ don't seem to realize that champions that are gated by their cooldowns and nothing else become oppressive when, surprise surprise, their cooldowns don't exist.
: NO EZREAL NERFS IN 9.5
I'll never understand how his Q made it through the rework. Quite possibly one of the most difficult to balance skills in the game. :/ Ends up breaking half the new items they introduce.

I'm pretty sure the issue is the utility attached to the damage, especially in the case of champions like Yasuo and Vayne.

Whether it's coded like an autoattack or not, it should still get that reduction to 1/3.

: Wukong is so under-powered.
He takes forever to hit a powerspike. His laning is utter shit against 90% of the champion roster and his rank 1 ult is literally just used for the knock up. Once he hits level 11 though, he spikes pretty damn hard.

: I dont understand why mobility is such a bad thing, it's just a natural evolution of the game. It gives more skill expression and more options to outplay opponents. I think mobility is pretty balanced atm. I rarely feel like "Oh shit, talons mobility is op nerf that shit". EDIT: Not being able to counterpick as much is a good thing. That means the draft doesn't decide the whole game. I prefer that there is less hard counters in the game and it's more about how well you play your champion.

I prefer that there is less hard counters in the game and it's more about how well you play your champion. I don't think Mobility as a whole is a bad thing; the overabundance of it is. Champions that have gapclosers that are either targeted or are single use are fine. This applies to most ADCs like {{champion:81}} {{champion:51}} {{champion:42}} that have the option of using it to escape or to engage, but have to stay committed to that choice. {{champion:268}} {{champion:115}} {{champion:62}} are all good examples of non-toxic mobility as well. The problem is that there are an incredible number of champions who have three (or more) dashes / mobility skills, or non-conditional mobility. {{champion:141}} feels disgusting to play against as an immobile main because 1. Walls literally don't matter 2. He has a non-targeted short range dash that can be used to gapclose or dodge skills 3. If you manage to peel yourself or a teammate his R is essentially also a dash to the target as well. {{champion:84}}'s old ult was completely unfun to play against and made her feel like a statcheck, and her rework completely failed to alleviate that issue and even gave her a fourth dash (her backflip that can be used to not only dodge skills, but then instantly close a gap no matter the distance) + 2 ult dashes that also, for some reason, stun. It's why she's had to be gutted to her abysmal win rate: she's simply not fun or interactive to play against when she's even remotely playable. {{champion:240}} and {{champion:39}} both have the double / triple mobility issue as well. You can successfully land all of your skills and peel yourself or an ally and it essentially doesn't matter because of their dash resets. Irelia used to be fine because the reset was only on kills. Now it's on "marked targets", which comes from pretty much any of her other skills. {{champion:164}} has (I believe) the longest dash in the game which can both scale walls and stun. Once again, if you manage to peel her off of you, her R is not only an arena that keeps you from escaping, but also another mobility skill as well. What do all of these have in common? They're all recent reworks / champion releases. Nearly _every single_ release or rework from the last two years has included some form of mobility, even giving previously immobile champions like {{champion:28}} and {{champion:3}} dashes as well. I'm an immobile mage main, so I'm definitely biased against the amount of mobility we've seen added to the game. However, I can say this: it feels fine being outplayed by champions / players because of mistakes I made or excellent plays they made. It feels like shit dying after I've positioned myself well and landed every skill simply because I'm playing against champions with three or four gapclosers.

That's... Not the issue at all? The problem is that the map was not built with supports in mind. The rift has three lanes and five players, so it's either duo in a lane or double Jungle. Twisted Treeline has two lanes and three players, meaning a player in each lane and a Jungler. Support comps on this map are uninteractive; you farm up your hypercarry until you're way ahead while the other team has a player who either gets to farm minions while you're gone or sit back and watch when you and your support come to clear before disappearing back into the Jungle.

Not true at all. Vel's win rate, on average, tends to lower as you climb in elo. A lot of champions have high skill caps or large learning curves. {{champion:121}} and {{champion:64}} , for instance, have win rates that generally increase with elo.
: my favorite thing about rift rivals is seeing all these low elo players play velkoz and win
So I have no idea what Twitch rivals is, but I will say as a Vel main that he feels weaker the higher you climb in elo. He gets shut down extremely easily by the incredibly mobile / bursty roster that League has these days. As you said as well, he's completely skillshot based so higher ranked opponents know how to dodge things a little better than those in lower elos.

Against a coordinated team who's able to effectively communicate, Kha gets shut down easily. Against anyone else, he completely stomps. He also has a rather steep learning curve it seems, as he has one of the highest win rates of _any_ champion by people that main him. Around 58%, I believe.

: What even is wukong
I've felt like he's on the weak side for awhile now, but I just looked him up out of curiosity and apparently he actually has the highest win rate of any Top laner providing the game lasts at least 30 minutes. Meaning he scales extremely, extremely well (which isn't surprising considering his ult's AD ratio and {{item:3147}} still existing)

They don't have enough players left to ban the people that abused it. Game wait times are already at 5+ minutes just to get autofilled (unless you're autofill protected, in which case you'll just get matched with people that are either horribly above your skill level or horribly under it).

People realize that us "SJW" people are, for the most part, very pro-sex / sexual expression (including pornography), right? You're right, @Spekkio, it is unfortunately a political issue in much of the world. But it _shouldn't_ be a political issue, because no one gets to have an opinion on whether or not I should exist as a person. I'll make you all a compromise: if you don't want my sexuality "thrust in your faces", then I don't want yours either. Rakan and Xayah need to be deleted. Ezreal's interactions with Lux need to be removed. The list goes on. The arguments being made here are hugely hypocritical.
