Don't spread your knowledge too thin. It's better to master the limits of one champion, then to have a mediocre understanding of 10 champions. I was able to climb to Plat by filling because I played VERY easy champions in every role that didn't take many games to understand when and where I could pull something off. Champions like {{champion:86}} and {{champion:1}} are pretty linear so it's a lot easier to know when not to do something.

It's not an easy skill to grasp, and it's especially difficult to learn how to do it on multiple champions, but can come pretty quickly to an amateur level (roughly 50-100 games depending on champion) of how aggressive or passive you have to play. I used to play a lot of Fiora, and there was a point where I could know if I would be able to 1v2 or 1v3 depending on what champions I was against. This is a great way of gaining a lead and snowballing a game. Sitting back and afk'ing in this scenario would set me behind, but because of limit testing, I turned it into an advantage.
: Can a new LoL player ever be as good?
Of course. It'll be a rocky start for sure. I started at the beginning of season 6. Went from Bronze 5 up to Silver 4 by the end of the year. I then hit Platinum 5 at the end of season 7 (it's a lot easier to climb once you know what every champion and item does, and what champions combo well together such as {{champion:89}} {{champion:21}} or {{champion:51}} {{champion:25}}) . Yes, how much you enjoy the game will make an impact, if you get tilted/angry/frustrated easily then learning will be rough since you spend more time being angry than realizing what you did wrong. Don't be intimidated by players who've be playing for a long time, it doesn't mean they are good at the game or that they have learned anything meaningful in that time. I'm Plat, and that doesn't mean I'm a pro or anything, but I'm better than a silver player whose been playing since season 1, and it has nothing to do with play time, it about learning the game. I'm actually ass mechanically, but I know where and when to be somewhere, and that's the best way to learn in my opinion. As to how do you know if you're playing well? If you feel like you're getting carried in every game but have like a 60% winrate after 200 games. You aren't getting carried every game, if you were to AFK at level 1, your winrate would be like 30% or less so you are a main contributor in winning your games. As a new player though, I'd be less concerned of if you're getting carried, and more concerned about what the fuck the enemy champions do and what your teams champions do. Essentially, just embrace that you're garbage at the game and just be concerned on learning, we all had to get to a point where we can instantly understand a situation.

Pretty much entirely pro play, but you know what... That's totally fine. This is called a top down balance model, and is the most effective way of making a game balanced. Compared to a bottom up balance model which just causes the balance to go to complete shit the higher up the ladder you get as players get better. You generally want to balance a game around the players who are the best at the game no? Rather than balancing the game off of people who have no idea how to play the game properly (which isn't meant to be an insult btw, we don't live and breathe lol like pros). Imagine if the game was balanced completely from the lower elos. The higher you climb, the more cancer the game would become as players got better and abused champions that weren't strong in low elos. Look at Ryze, if he was balanced around Bronze he'd have like a 60%+ winrate in Plat/Dia and even higher in LCS. What would happen if champions like Warwick or Wukong were nerfed to shit because they can be played pretty well with success in the lower elos. He'd be even more garbage in the higher elos then he already is.

Going to hard disagree with you. People at Diamond+ don't pick champions because they're 'fun to play,' we pick champions who are most likely to win. And with an early-focused meta, which we've had for the past two seasons, assassins out-perform casters across the board.
Eh, Diamond is also the elo that has a ridiculously high ratio of one-tricks that got there with mostly mechanics but lack in micro to climb any higher. So they're are quite a few people playing champions like Wukong who isn't very good champion but they play them because it's the only champion they can play at a Diamond level.

: Any "viable" champ worth checking out?
There are quite a few top laners that can quite literally 1v9 games up to like mid Diamond if you're good enough. Even if the whole enemy team comes for you and you have an AFK, it's still possible to win. These champions are, but aren't limited to: {{champion:92}} {{champion:114}} {{champion:164}} {{champion:24}} {{champion:39}} and to a lesser extent {{champion:58}} . All of these champions have the tools in their kit to grab a game by the balls and if you're good with them, can make it difficult for you to lose a lead once you get one.

: Stop inting my games, Sett players.
Yeah It's pretty annoying seeing people pick him in RANKED. In normals? I wouldn't give a flying fuck what you play. As long as your trying to win, go nuts. But Ranked? Get that shit outta here. New champions should be banned from ranked on their release patch. I'm aware that people can first time any champion in ranked, but the odds of that happening are significantly lower than the odds of someone picking a brand new just released champion. It only takes like 2 weeks for the novelty of the champion to wear off and I don't see ADC mains playing top just to play Sett in ranked only to have him banned then feed (or get him and feed, whichever comes first). Just ban him on his release patch, and this whole problem goes away. People who actually want to play the new champions usually start getting the hang of the champion after the initial patch anyway.
: Unfair or not?
It's pretty normal. You should be getting like 30 LP per win though since your MMR should be pretty high based off your last season's MMR and depending on how your placements went. You MMR is probably around mid-high gold level, so there is a pretty decent chance you will skip a view divisions too.

: The most cancerous game/company/experience of my life
Makes me wish you had to pay a fee to play LoL. It's an unpopular one, but the fact that LoL is free pretty much ensures toxicity. People get banned? New account, ruin more games. There are plenty of people out their with like 20+ banned accounts, if the game was like $15-20, it'd still be cheap enough for people to play, but at the same time would reduce alot of the toxicity with people knowing "oh f-ck, if I'm toxic I have to PAY to play this game again". I make like $10 in 15 minutes, so even one game with an int feeder costs me more money than the account would.
: When will we get a refund back?
It will most likely be at the beginning of the season. Since the last official patch was like a month ago, the first patch of the year hasn't happened yet. Most of the Rioters should be getting off their breaks to work on patch 10.1, and this is most likely where they will give the refunds out.

Hey, at least League of Legends has literally one of the lowest amount of hackers in online gaming. World of Tanks for example has a lot of support for mods and skins, but in return this ends up having a MAJOR problem with hackers. You run into a lot of people who use "penetration reticles" which give you the exact armour of the area your aiming at which is significantly unfair to play against. You also go your aim botters, and your x-ray hacks, etc. I'd rather sacrifice interface customization in exchange for a secure, hack free game. Which is one of the reasons I've been able to play this game for multiple years, and didn't drop it like most other multiplayer games I've played.

Neither is Liandry's. You should of been building Zhonya's or Banshee's as your second item instead of Liandry's. And how do I avoid dying before that? Just hug the turret until I can afford Zhonya or Banshee (which he can proc with his Q before ulting btw, so that wouldn't help at all).
1) read my second paragraph 2) Malphite Q is 625 range, your Q (1100 Range), W (900 Range), E (675 Range), R (750 Range) all have a longer range than that so he should never be getting in range to hit your banshees before ulting. If he does manage to do so, you are positioning incorrectly in teamfights. 3) In addition to both my first and second point, if he stalls off on using his ult, then he just dies because you still out range him, and if he uses his ultimate then it just gets blocked by your banshees. Assuming your team isn't grouping all up in the same spot, the Banshee's should be enough of a deterrent for him anyway since he would die if he focused you since he wouldn't have the burst to kill you with-out his ult damage.

Rylai's doesn't count as a defensive item, it's more of an offensive utility item. Neither is Liandry's. You should of been building Zhonya's or Banshee's as your second item instead of Liandry's. You know what does less damage than having Liandry? Being dead. So it's worth the sacrifice in power. More importantly, you should of been keeping your distance until Malphite uses his ult. It's the only thing Malphite has that makes him useful, so you know he will use it every fight.

: Yeah looks like it might be one of the few left overs from when Positional Ranks were in place and had some lower players climb much higher with a terrible winrate. Since looking at their history it looks like most of their games are plat / diamond mmrs.
Nope, it's because the ADC was duoing with the mid laner who is Plat 2 with a 60% winrate so probably Diamond MMR. Still f-cked though.

: Jhin needs to not be an S tier pick, he's basically babies first ADC
Jhin isn't actually as easy as you think. He has lower tank shredding meaning it's harder for him to kill a front-line. He has mostly skill shots in his kit besides his Q, and he is immobile, which in this META, means he is pretty vulnerable. Also, you are a SIlver 1 player and was playing against a Diamond 4 player, so I would suggest only talking about champion balance when playing against your own skill level. As this is absolutely guaranteed to be fueled by losing to a better player rather than a champion being OP. Especially considering that it doesn't appear like you main ADC based on your champion choices.

His definition is probably "I should be able to survive Malphite ult as an immobile champion with no defensive items", considering he was playing Brand.

Judging by your reaction I highly doubt you're as civil as you think you are, and makes you sound like someone who would get perma'd shortly after hitting level 30. Also, I'd like you to justify on how you managed to go 1/10 as Fiora and only manage to have 3 cs per minute over a 38 minute game. Regardless of being new on a champion. You'd have to actively avoid farming to have a score this low. This is like relic support territory. Actually, going deeper into your match history I see you going games with like 12-20 kills every couple of games with low deaths then all of a sudden you'll go like 4/17, 3/11, 1/13, 3/11, 1/10, 4/18 (actual scores from your match history). Seems a little suspicious to me, especially considering in a majority of your games the rest of your team seems to be doing decently well and there doesn't seem to be any giga-fed hyper carries on the enemy team either (few game exceptions where there was one, but a majority don't have this), their scores on average are pretty normal. With all of this information, it'd be hard for me personally to find any proof of you not intentionally feeding, the combination of non-feeding teamates, non-fed opponants, low cs scores and low kill participation with high deaths, leads me to come to this conclusion. Of course, I'm no analyst and may be competently wrong. The chances of you getting perma'd this early though is pretty low even if you theoretically speaking _were_ intentionally feeding, unless of course you were doing a "little" too much typing in chat with the wrong language choices, but that's a different matter.
: More importantly, isn't it only a *125%* increase? A 225% increase would mean it dealt 325% of its base damage.
We mean that if you crit with infinity edge, you will do 225% of your damage. Lets say you are attacking a target with no armour and you have 60 attack damage (just a random number for explaining), you would be doing 100% damage to that target. Therefore if you crit them with infinity edge you would be doing 135 damage which would be 225% of your attack damage. If you were doing 125% damage to someone, you would only be doing 25% extra damage. As 100% is your base. Of course armour and penetration kind of effects this number as most champions start off with 25% damage reduction that scales up to 50%.
: Remind me how riot punishes afks again?
They don't. As long as you aren't toxic in chat you can pretty much can int every game and never be banned.

In 2019 league? Where almost every ap is also an dps champ who might aswell be manaless after buying a 1300 gold item? Where you also get to 40% cdr without giving up anything (in fact you struggle to not go over the cap often enough), when void staff exists as it is and MR is a joke? Where ap champs can actually kill towers faster than adcs in some cases? No just no, if anything right now 1 point of ap is worth MORE than 1 point of AD, its just stupid that AD is more expensive than AP when an item like armguard exists in its current state (over 150% gold efficiency on a fking small item btw that builds out of 3 of the cheapest minor components in the game BTW!), this not even mentioning it building into probably the strongest item in the entire game (hourglass), like wtf is the weakness of this?
AD is on average stronger, here is why (this is designed to be as objective as possible, so this does not include my possibly biased opinion on whether I personally think one is better than the other): 1) Auto attacks are free and "technically" have no cooldown (attack speed doesn't really count). Therefore making it the most cost effective damage source in the game (as in, there is no cooldown or resource holding it back). 2) Auto attacks can be modified by critical strike chance, therefore increasing it's value by ~~250%~~ 225%. 3) There are more penetration items in the game for AD ({{item:3142}} {{item:3179}} {{item:3147}} {{item:3814}} {{item:3181}} {{item:3071}} {{item:3033}} {{item:3036}} ) than AP ({{item:3020}} {{item:3165}} {{item:3135}}). 4) AD heavily effects attack speed and lifesteal making a few points of AD worth more than a few points of AP (this becomes even more impactful when you factor in point 2 shown above).

: Pls give me some other games to play
For Assassin's Creed, I'd say Black Flag is one of the best. People will argue Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 are the best, but honestly, they're pretty out-dated and repetitive. A lot of kill this guy, cut scene, kill this guy, cutscene, and not a lot of plot development. I played these games when they came out and I swore by them, until I came back to them like a year ago and they're pretty dry. Assassin's Creed: Black Flag you get to fight f-cking ships, it's a good time As for free games, Paladins is a pretty good game if you like FPS shooters.

: False reporting
Since you mention you can only send 5 messages per games, this means you are chat restricted. This means you were reported for "Verbal Abuse" which is when you flame teamates in chat and such. To prevent report abuse of this function, when someone clicks the check box for "Verbal Abuse" and sends it, a program will then check all of your messages you send during the game, during champion select, and after game lobby for key words that are flagged by the system as being toxic. If you get enough reports and this system flags enough key words you will get a chat restriction, and occasionally a ban. So yeah, I'm going to assume you're being a dick. I've fed my ass off multiple times and it wasn't done intentionally, sometimes I'm playing Ashe and just keep getting oneshot by a good Talon player. Yet, I've never once been banned because I never type negatively in chat. Also, as a side note I find it hard to believe that you are not actively inting in your games. The odds of you consistently going 0/10, 0/15, etc and also having a 6% winrate in bronze is pretty unlikely. Even for a new player. You even have like an average of 1 cs per minute when not playing on support in like 30 minute long games.
: Red side has a full 2% higher winrate than Blue side. What's up with that?
Maybe it has to do with the fact that on blue side the bot lane has that little pathway behind them close to the turret that leaves them more vulnerable to a flank then the red side.
: Please give us a bigger emotes wheel!!!
I think it would be cool if you could hold down your emote button and it would have a scroll wheel where the center is the selected emote and there would be one slot above which is the previous emote and one below which is the next one. Once the emote you want is in the center you just let go of the emote button and that's it. Would probably work decent well for like I dunno... 8 emotes?

: Remove dark harvest from the game
Dark Harvest requires like 20 stacks to be on par with electrocute (in the late game) and cannot be used as a poke tool unlike electrocute. I'd say it's perfectly fine. The few champions that can actually use it aren't stomping games either.
: Remake system needs a slight change.
I think it should be, if the player doesn't do or receive damage within the first 3 minutes of the game then it's a remake (this include stuff such as minion aggro too). This will have no impact on the current state of the game and will only affect people who don't leave fountain at all.
: I feel like new champions shouldn't be allowed to be banned in normals while also having them be not allowed in ranked. For like one patch maybe two. This lets people play them and play against him but also doesn't hurt ranked.
I'd argue people should be able to ban whoever they wish. On the other hand, having the 1 for all gamemode featuring the champion might be a worthwhile addition just so people can try him out. If Sett turns out to be super broken and I'm not allowed to ban him, you can be assured I will quit playing until he is bannable again (and I'm sure I'm not the only one). Also, the dodging would be literally insane and IMPOSSIBLE to get into a game. Ranked should have a new champion banned for a minimum of one patch. They are pretty much going to be be perma-banned anyway for that duration, so why not just make it easier on everyone's heads and not allow people to be useless playing a champion they don't know how to play in a competitive game mode. Obviously there is nothing stopping people from first timing in ranked, but it's al lot more prevalent when a new champion comes out since EVERYONE is going to try to play him.
: Man that sucks ass it was fun first time getting diamond cuz it was a journey now its a quest
Try going for Master. Diamond elo in my opinion is when the game actually starts and people have a decent grasp on what they contribute to a team and where and when they need to be somewhere. Every elo below Diamond is just trial and error until you climb, getting to Master actually requires brain and not just muscle memory/auto piloting.

: Autoattack range display
I'd argue this removes skill expression. Knowing proper spacing is part of playing a lot of games on a champion, and separates the good from the bad players on said champion in it's own way. Sort of like how in FPS shooters they don't tell you the major spikes in damage drop off. You personally need to know the optimal distance for damage output and when you're too far away for your weapon. Just my opinion.
: Anyway to reset mmr
You can't unless you want to make a brand new account. Even then, you'd have to play badly in placements so you don't get placed in high gold/low plat.
: TAKE MY W !!! https://youtu.be/U0QFEr0HHuM
Yep, you don't even need to use the cool tricks to stop people from taking it. Everytime people chase the lantern, I'm spamming my wards on top of it. Sometimes they just don't click on it and I'm like "well that's a lot easier".

Good ol 1v1's work wonders for this. You can even make a bunch of mistakes, get low on health, and then kick his ass, just to add salt to the wound. There is a reason why higher elo players can pick random champions outside their role and still win. You only need game and match-up knowledge to climb in this game. Not even, just understand when the enemy makes a mistake and boom, you're Plat. That's where the game ACTUALLY starts. They aren't even on the same playing field. Most SIlver players don't know when they can just walk someone down a lane and kill them because they used one of their abilities on a cannon minion. Irelia throws her E for no reason against Darius? Ghost, dead.

I'm making it my mission to post: "Bring back Old Aatrox" once a day. I miss my champ, the new one is fun, but not the auto attacker that became my favorite. Also, can we talk about this client? Would it be so difficult to use the pre-season as an opportunity to get rid of major/little bugs that remain in the game and the client especially? I mean just recently we had the whole friends list shenanigans as well as friend champion boarders showing the wrong champ along with the constant or every once in a while "loot is having issues right now" or as I just experienced today client taking a very long time to respond regardless if I reopened client or not. New aatrox is good but buff him plz

People forget that armour also reduces his healing, not to mention all he does is physical damage so it's a solid investment. Also champions like Fiora (she can cripple him by not only q'ing out of crit range but can also stun him and negate the damage all within his animation time) and Mordekaiser can pretty much just run him down the lane and there isn't anything he can do about it. Actually any champion with mobility can just kit around his long skill shot animation and win by just autoing.

: Who is the better player here?
TL;DR: You're better than your friend. Let's say for whatever reason, Silver 1 in EUW was the same as being Plat 3 in EUNE (which it isn't, but just for example). You'd still be better because your friend has a 49% winrate you have a 55% winrate. So yeah, it's pretty much not even a debate at this point. He might be like Gol 4-3 in EUNE, but this is a MAYBE. but he'd be a division lower than you still. the elo difference between EUNE and EUW only starts to become apparent in like D2+ and starts having a significant difference in Masters/Challenger (and that's only because the really good EUNE players switch over to EUW), but like, that's such a small portion of people that it's not even worth mentioning for comparing the average player base. So Plat 3 EUNE is basically still Plat 3 EUW. Nothing a few 1v1's can't fix though. I'm a high Plat/low Diamond support main, but I can still kick the absolute sh-t out of my gold friends, even on their mains. I see Yasuo's/Zed's/Ahri's in Diamond all day, what's a gold player going to do that I haven't seen already? Silver 1 vs Plat 3 should mean you wiping the floor with him. This should get the point across pretty quickly. I haven't heard the "you're a support so you were carried" line in a long time.
: Bring back Old Aatraox. Also this client
Besides a minority of player I think only a few players remember old Attrox for the like, few patches he was broken before being reworked. Aatrox went like 4-5 years with-out getting played with a low winrate, to having a high winrate with Guinsoo's with Titanic Hydra for like 2 patches. Old Aatrox, truely, was a terrible champion. Lackluster toxic kit, nobody played him, like abysmally low play rate, pretty much forgotten. I think if old Aatrox came back most people would play like 5-10 games before the novelty wears off and then sit there and be like "this champion f-cking sucks". Not like I'm saying the new Aatrox is the pinnacle of champion design, but he is definatly a better designed and more healthy champion that fits better in modern league of legends.
