Everyone else has lovely suggestions, but I recommend checking out the characters you, personally are interested in! Depending on the region, you may want to focus on specific characters to start. For Shurima, I recommend reading the story "Bloodlines" and then checking out the Champions featured in that story. For Demacia, I recommend reading the Lux comic and branching off from there. For Noxus, I recommend checking out Swain, LeBlanc, Darius, and Mordekaiser. For the Freljord, I recommend reading the Ashe: Warmother comic, then checking out Ashe, Sejuani, and Lissandra. For Ionia, the upcoming Zed comic may be good. For Piltover and Zaun, the (not-yet-released) Arcane animated series will probably be a good place to start! Bioluminescence did an awesome post for Bilgewater that they already shared! Incidentally, I recommend reading "Burning Tides" and then "Shadow and Fortune" before you read up on the Shadow Isles. Ixtal doesn't have any major plotlines or "key players" yet because it's an isolationist nation.

: What are your biggest fears regarding your favourite champions/regions' future?
I'm not worried about how {{champion:99}} {{champion:163}} will be handled; both already have strong directions and have been handled quite well. The only issue I could have is Lux getting paired off with Ezreal, when I think it's funnier (and potentially more appropriate for BOTH of them) if she just keeps brushing him off, with him eventually letting go of his crush as he, himself, grows up. With Taliyah, my only wish is that we get stories of her travels, not JUST what's happening in Shurima RIGHT NOW, but seeing more of Shurima would be totally fine, regardless. The only Champion I'm a little worried about it {{champion:61}} . I really hope they do her justice, and let her blossom as her own person. I'm mainly worried about her character being entirely tied in with Viktor/Camille/Blitzcrank and the like. By all means, have her meet them and influence that story, but I want continuation of some aspects of her character beyond just the "she's a robot" part. Her interest in ballet, her miniatures, her kindness, her dreams to travel around the world! I wanna see some of THOSE aspects of her character get developed.

Greatly appreciated! There are still a few older ones I wish would get individual colors (Battle Academia in particular) but I'm always happy to see changes like this! Individual borders just feel really nice, and even a small color change can make the whole thing look much nicer.

: Reading this, first thing that comes to mind (after Cataclysm of course omg) is how the yeti race in Legends of Runeterra was probably designed after the old Willump, because the yeti in this game look nothing like his post-VGU design. That's one inconsistency that kinda bothers me, but mainly because I love Willump's modern design much more over the traditional "snowy gorilla" yeti. :D

Indeed, they are shapeshifters in that way.

: Seems weird to not have something beyond a chroma. Would be nice if there was some non-chroma big reward at the end of the pass for those who actually go through and get all of it.
What they used to call "Arena Skins" are now called "Arena Chromas"; "Arena Skin" now is being used for more substantially different Boards. Anyway, these Chromas are all pallet swaps of the "Basic Draconic Arena", which is kind of lame, most of the ones we've gotten (especially the Draconic and Summoner's Arena Chromas) look really nice, imo. I think the Little Legend eggs are the thing we get at the end of the Pass? Just conjecture, of course.

Statistically speaking, I don't think Yuumi has the lowest possible skill floor when it takes like 60 games just to approach a 50% winrate on her, meanwhile a lot of first-time Sonas get there immediately. As simple as she is, her weirdness (by which I mean her entire play pattern, not being attached itself) definitely keeps people from succeeding with her.

No, my point is that Nami *IS* designed to do damage, but her damage scaling absolutely sucks; she's not designed to be a consistent damage threat any time besides laning phase, and before Pyke she was the *only* Champion deliberately designed for the Support role with damage in mind, and that was way back in 2013. The rest were all Champions who already existed accidentally getting pushed into the role, which sucked (and continues to suck) for everyone involved. I agree with you on this. I play Enchanters, but I'm excited for more diversity in EVERY role. Pyke doing loads of damage is hardly an issue to me; if I get pulled by Blitzcrank it doesn't matter that he's a tank and not an assassin, I'm freaking dead. In lane, the two have pretty much the same outcome, and out of lane getting caught out by Pyke is no different than any other assassin, so I don't see the issue unless ALL assassins are inherently bad mid-late game. Senna's Recommended items also give her {{item:3114}} items, so I'm excited to play her using those, anyway.
: Can we have more stuff in BE Emporium?
I hope for more BE-exclusive skins in the future! Just like I hope for more Honor-exclusive skins, as well (I REALLY hope they don't just release infinite chromas of the same two skins). These are cool systems to reward players for their dedication to the game, but they are incredibly limited in scope. Off the top of my head, on top of random icons/emotes, I hope they add random emotes for BE, and (assuming they launch as intended), Eternals as well. Would rather not pay for those lol. Would also like to see "infinite" Gemstones; don't know why it's capped at 3--heck, keep upping the price forever, for all I care, but I feel like they should be AVAILABLE for BE at least.

You think Mark Merrill gonna be able to afford a new Maserati with Ivern skins? Don't know why this is downvoted; it's true. Does anyone think artists don't wanna make a million skins for Kindred, Ornn, Taliyah? They're ripe for the picking, but they aren't made because they won't make money. The decision is entirely motivated by profit, and excluding all the "ONLY POPULAR CHAMPS GET SKINS" rhetoric, this has been explicit for years now. Artists are the ones who make the skins, but product managers are the ones who decide who GETS a skin--and beyond that, you gotta please shareholders and the higher ups by constantly making more money. I'm certain the actual designers aren't thrilled about that (not to say they HATE designing for popular champs, but they probably feel inspired by less popular ones as well).

: Dear Riot, please consider recategorizing your older skins (aka, old Legendaries).
Honestly, make them Epic skins already. They upped a bunch in tier (Arcade Sona used to be 975), so why not lower these ones? They're Legacy anyway; it's not like you'll be losing money on them or anything. And who is gonna buy those are 1820, anyway?
: 10 Years of Riot Music
Music is my FAVORITE THING (irl singer/songwriter) so everything about this has be SO STOKED. Looking forward to the music that is yet to come, as well. Elementalist Lux and Taliyah are my favorite songs so ... it looks like I've started a vinyl collection, nifty!
: Have you guys stopped doing login screens/themes? Are they being replaced by something, or are those resources being redirected to Arcane maybe? Let me know if this was answered elsewhere
They no longer do log-in screens (and music) because of the updated Launcher, which allows you to enter the client without logging in (therefore, a large percent of the playerbase will never see those screens anymore). Champions still receive musical themes, and where applicable they try to put them on interesting videos (like Pantheon's development vid), but otherwise they're just posted on YouTube with the Champion's splash art (Qiyana, Mordekaiser et al). As far as I'm aware, they don't seem to be doing music for Events/Skins anymore, though. I'm sad we won't get any more animated art on League Displays. :(
: Because vinyl gained a collectible value and has been hyped up to "sound better, warmer", whatever "warm" is supposed to mean in terms of audio (it's not unwarranted, many records have a different, more audiophile-oriented master and mix for the vinyl edition). The big packaging of vinyl also looks better on your shelf than a jewel case or digipak. (I'm also tempted to blame some of vinyl's resurgence on stereotypical hipsters, but there's legit reasons why people choose vinyl.)
>The big packaging of vinyl also looks better on your shelf than a jewel case or digipak. I but CDs specifically because of the packaging, though. So much artwork goes totally unused in the vinyl (& cassette) releases of various albums, because they just have less surface area, relative to dimensions.

: "Championship Ryze is a skin that shouldn't be available through Hextech Crafting." That honestly sounds like a load of hoo-hah if you ask me. Regardless if it's a new skin, all other previous championship skins (except the Classic Championship Riven) can be aqquired via Hextech Crafting. Plus if it's not supposed to be in Hextech like the Support implies, then you shouldn't have gotten it to begin with. They should have just given the Skin Shard back and while I believe that the Masterwork chest was given in good faith, I think it's wrong that they took the skin shard away from you at all. Plus the fact that the client gave you that particular emote after all that is just insult to injury.

New skins ARE available through crafting once they're in the shop; whoever it was was probably mistaken.
: TFT: New Arena Skins
Please keep releasing new ones!! I really like these so far, but I want one that I LOVE
: TFT - 9.22 Set 2 PBE Change Log & Update
The herald and Dragon changes are giving me LIFE, thank you! It's so annoying being stuck with one component by that point, or not having as many choices as to what I can build because everything is already combined.
: Legends of Runeterra: Freljord Lore
>Could this be a hint for how Lissandra uses that spell on people? Or is this simply the result of the true cold of the Freljord that can harm intruders and freljordians alike? I wanna point out that multiples of Champion cards turn into spells when you draw them--Ashe becomes "Ashe's Flash Freeze"! I'd like to think these spells have thematic reasons for existing, though certain ones (like this and "Heimerdinger's Progress Day") seem to just be generic spells that work well with their respective Champion's mechanics.

: Okay let's be real, who honestly likes playing against X champion?
The only Champion I genuinely don't like to play against is Leblanc, and that's mainly because she lacks counterplay. The counterplay is "stand back and don't give kills" but that's true of literally EVERYONE; other assassins have other forms of counterplay (in lane) on top of their weak scaling. I don't like being forced to "play from behind" from level 2 onward. I don't generally dislike playing against anyone else. Akali? Guessing where she is in the shroud is fun. Pyke? A squishy melee is a nice change of pace. Evelynn? Honestly, she's probably my FAVORITE to play against because she totally alters the way you think about the game.
: 1M on MF Finally
She is really fun; character, and gameplay. I only just read Burning Tides and Shadow and Fortune last week, and I like her better than ever. Good job! PROUD! {{champion:21}} {{item:3400}}

: Stuff?
[This](https://youtu.be/vTb0tFICfQQ) is the best out play I've ever done in the game!! (I'm Morgana). I'm so happy about it because I LOVE HER TOO
: I agree. A lot of people are saying that it's contrived or that it will ruin Lucian or Thresh's character and leave them without motivations, but that's just being short sighted and probably why the story barely budges. Motivations and relationships can change. Should Leona and Diana never resolve their conflicts just because that's the core of their character? No they will, then the writers will just give them a new one. It's called growth.

It sounds like someone escaping, which is unprecedented, would be a pretty interesting wrinkle for his character.

Since it's been awhile now, how do you feel the Taliyah changes from last year have landed?

: I'm pretty sure the article on game modes said they'd return, just they still aren't going to make any of them permanent.

Nexus Blitz & a few others (Hexakill, One For All, ARURF+) were stated to be coming back because they (NB aside) had consistent playerbases until the end of their runs. They concluded that "mixes of the main League experience attracts more players than modes focused on 'new' experiences".
: I'm really surprised that Nexus blitz is never coming back
According to the Devpost where they announced they would no longer do RGMs and would drop Twisted Treeline, they stated they plan to bring Nexus Blitz back "a couple times a year, but not as a permanent mode".

: Riot almost made a big oopsie with Magma Chamber back in the day as new maps need actual players and queues in order for Riot to invest in their balance and playerbase. Having a new mode (or a map) is a project in itself and always has Riot have to split their manpower in order to maintain it as much as every other mode. I imagine Twisted Treeline is in its own limbo with a dwindling playerbase, perhaps comparable to Blood Boon statistics.

Blood Moon is depressing to me because it's my FAVORITE RGM. Since Lunar Revel 2018, when they ran the mode the second time since I started, I've been collecting BM skins for the champs you can play in the mode … and now it won't ever come back. They're nice skins, but I won't ever play those champs now, ahaha. Most RGMs almost certainly "start" higher than TT. Although they by their very nature don't have dedicated players, so you can expect them to drop below even TT, I'd imagine.
: > I thought that Nexus blitz had a lot of people playing it, I thought it was fun. chill mode, was it not more popular than aram? twisted treelines for sure.. We actually have a recent graph directly from Riot showing the popularity of some game modes. https://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/02_Game_Hours_Per_Mode-1_d6f0glgzkxp91uhuagi2.jpg As you can see, Nexus Blitz at it's best was about half as popular as ARAM, and became waaaay less popular after missions for it ended. It really surprised me that not even Odyssey was able to draw in as much attention as ARAM.

It really surprised me that not even Odyssey was able to draw in as much attention as ARAM. As devs, they were definitely excited about having a game mode where you make progress over a longer time, rather than each match starting from scratch (it's an advantage that most games have that PvP games don't!). But I'm thinking the fact you were expected to invest a lot of time actually turned off a lot of players; you couldn't just play 1 match and have it be compete, you had to keep playing until you unlocked Augments and whatnot... While most League games are 30?ish minutes long, and most League players play other modes for shorter games (like ARAM, Nexus Blitz … pretty much every RGM, no?). So Extraction didn't fulfill THAT niche, either. It's like, if I wanted to play a game that took me a few weeks to complete, why would I play League, you know? I play League "to compete" or "to spend time with friends" (this is a hypothetical "I", not literally me, by the way--I LOVED Extraction).

: I don't agree with skins. The rewards should be for TFT players, not for League players. That would feel bad for people who play only TFT, because they couldn't use the rewards. It would also feel bad for people who play only League, because they would have to play a game they don't care for to unlock something they want. I personally like the arena skins a lot, and I also think getting Little Legends through the pass is GREAT. Currently, Emotes, Little Legends, Arena Skins, and Icons are the things you can use in TFT for player expression, so those things make sense as rewards. But if there's anything else that can be added for TFT players, I'd be all for it! Since this pass will mark the end of the "Beta season", I wonder if we can expect a new Set (that is, a set of ALL new units) to replace the current one for next season. I'm excited to see it!
Also can you guys not downvote a post of ... totally reasonable suggestions? I don't agree with the guy, but as someone who plays both League and TFT now, I see where he's coming from and why he would want those things. What is up with the internet
: TFT Beta Pass V.3 Coming Soon!
You're calling the "Storm Rift" an arena CHROMA, but will it function as an entirely new Arena skin ith it's own spot in the drop-down menu? Or do we need to own the original Rift Arena Skin to unlock it?
: I think you should be able to earn exclusive skins to use in other game modes from TFT. Like a whole skin line. (TFT Xerath, TFT Skarner, TFT Zac.etc) Or different skinlines that you can only earn by playing TFT. Dark Star Xerath, Nanobot Zac, KrustySkarner Also make little legends rewardable from play. Not just series 1 and not only 1 from so many missions. Getting so many beta pass points gives you a new legend Getting 1st place 25 times gives you a 2start or 3star upgrade to a current legend Completing 15 missions gives you a series 2 legend Getting 9 units on the board 5 times gives you a series 1 egg Winning a game with 6 gunslingers gives you a 2star upgrade to a current legend I'm sorry but arenas and emotes arent inticing. WHILE WE ARE ON THE SUBJECT. Lets add some more champions to TFT. New Origins/Classes. Would love to see some crazy ones like teemo. And new boards (Not arena skins) but different angled and shaped boards with a different amount of spaces on it. HOW ABOUT a 1v1v1 Limited TFT Game mode 3 people on a triangular board all face each other every round.

: No, it should've been an epic with special interactions especially when they had an opportunity to do so with her upcoming VU update, which they didn't bother trying.

There's no way they had the actor in until well after Cosmic Queen was out. That was over a year ago. They did not have the opportunity to do so. Unless you're saying they should've added them, which I don't disagree with. I'm bummed they don't do it with release skins for new champs/VGUs very often anymore.
