: Holy fuck you call this a start-of-season patch? Back in Season 5 this would've been a nice patch, but with ALL of this random fuckery that you have injected into the game, you need MUCH more than this tiny shit to actually improve the game. ESPECIALLY ALL THE BUGS IN-GAME AND CLIENT-WISE!!!
Hey, don't forget that they're on vacation man. Merry Christmas!

: So many problems continue to go unaddressed or fixed... *sigh* What do you do / whom do you contact when Riot Support messes up MULTIPLE times and can't fix / escalate it to someone who can fix it? tl;dr: What does it take to get Riot's attention? (Note: Sorry this is a long post, just want to show evidence backing up everything I'm saying as these issues have been going on for 5+ years now and are only getting worse) --- The problems with Player Support (PS) not being able to do anything or find someone who can help are a constantly reoccurring theme I see pop up all over the place. The story seems to go something like this: player tries to get help by contacting PS, next PS says they can't do anything, then player tries to get PS to escalate issue to someone who can do something, and finally PS says they can't escalate it or pass it on to anyone who can help. PS does nothing, player gets no help, everyone is left frustrated and sad. See: "Agents told you eons ago wouldn't truly be wrong at the moment," where 'eons ago' is apparently less than 1 year ago ( https://i.imgur.com/zEAwfCt.png / https://i.imgur.com/PALcRcq.png ). Seriously, I see this continually. Like the recent Morgana chroma debacle where a PS person said, "get used to it / hope u like it," when Morgana's chromas were mixed up ( https://i.imgur.com/senpEvY.jpg ). Or when you try to get clarification over something confusing, like what content is Limited Edition or Legacy or whatever ( https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/8mphk9/why_is_jaximus_a_limited_availability_skin_when/ ), and get berated by PS saying, "dude cmon i didnt sign up for this," over minor things ( https://i.imgur.com/7Jc8UGk.png ). Likewise, even when PS says they will refer the problem to someone, it is often unlikely you'll ever see it fixed. For example, I've been waiting on the Limited Edition (LE) borders for "Happy Elf Teemo" and "Union Jack Fiddlesticks" being added for over 2 years now ( https://i.imgur.com/xYEG8LP.png / https://i.imgur.com/nU1FRgF.png ). Then we have major debacles with PS/Rioters saying one thing and something completely different happening. Here are 3 different PS people telling me that a lot of the 2018 Lunar Revel content wouldn't be coming back (Wukong emote, Ruby chromas, Gold chromas / https://i.imgur.com/xpZDUiY.png ), something I followed up with non-PS Rioters to clarify as well. Then when the content comes back after I spent over $100 on RP just for that content based on what I was told, I get a "sadly there's really nothing I can do here" ( https://i.imgur.com/npgCdwp.png ). A similar thing happened when Riot brought back the Golden Ashe chroma when it was advertised as Limited Edition ( https://i.imgur.com/bRMB1QM.png ) and yet came back in 2019. You know what happened the last time Riot said content would "never come back" and then it did? Players got an RP refund, an icon, and a special loading screen border ( https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/store/sales/plan-vintage-limited-edition-skins ) or at the very least got a special version of the skin ( Championship Riven: https://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-pbe-feedback/M3soEg9r-an-update-on-championship-riven / PAX Sivir: https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/news/champions-skins/skin-release/neo-pax-sivir-and-epic-capsules ). It wasn't like this in the beta. PS worked hand-in-hand with the rest of Riot. I know that can't happen due to the scale of LoL, but you'd think they would at least have a way to escalate key issues. Instead, you have to go to some social media platform, hope your story resonates with people, and get enough traction that some Rioter with influence takes notice and does something about it. Even then it is unlikely. Another example, it's been 5 years since Hippalus and Tryndamere promised to get back to original Limited Edition skin owners better compensation ("Hip himself is working on additional (longer term) projects that should also help our most dedicated players feel appropriately recognized" https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/1u4317/tryndamere_w_context_on_riot/ceeqzj4/ ). I really want to support Riot Games! I've been following them since early, early closed beta. But the company has really changed from being "Player Experience First" to "do whatever we can get away with" it seems. From major fiascos within the company to sleazy marketing schemes ( https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/af8642/the_psychological_manipulation_of_prestige_aatrox/ ), they've really changed over the years into something I barely recognize... and it hurts when a company I loved keeps doing these things and continuing like they aren't even trying to get better. Whew. Okay, so really, who do we contact / what do we do? Why is there no team dedicated to handling escalation and things outside of the norm? We have Rioters whose sole job is about managing talking to Influencers / Affiliates / Partners ( https://partners.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/ ), you'd think they could get someone to deal with the above issues?
Chinese owns Riot Games. That's all I can tell ya.

Just refer to the big thread on the home page talking about it and you’ll see. Yea, I do understand that part. I just didn't want to make my post into an essay talking about that tbh. The caster misspoke HKA into Hong Kong (I've only watched one clip so far) but I'm still holding back cause the interview for HKA was not live. You can say that people are mad cause they're mad, however, I just don't get why "six four" is being censored. Does any native speaker know? What could "six four" mean?

The main thing that really stood out tft from others was that items played a pretty big part of it compared to the others I played. I really loved it! Now, with hextech it just feels like it took that out, so now it is honestly a less enjoyable verysion. Its just like, "yes!!, I got some items that makes a certain champ work..... oh, now I am facing hextech". It honestly makes it feel like it don't have any option except not run things that don't work with more than one item. Just not enjoyable at all. This exact thing. I've run 4 DIFFERENT builds now in my run to Gold ranks and sometimes I shift my strategies around what I get NOT ONLY CHAMPS BUT ALSO SPECIFICALLY ITEMS... because of that, now losing items completely makes items essentially a situation where you will be using 1 item on a "decoy" champ, and then the rest of your items on someone in the very back. What I see happening really quickly here is something like a fully item loaded Rengar or Assassin + 6 Bruiser wall + Hextech - if you aren't running 6 bruisers + Hex then you are done and done. This doesn't seem like fun to me - so I'm genuinely sitting this patch out and watching patch notes. Not even a threat. I may actually just lose interest in this game now because of this change. What I don't get is how something this huge makes it out of testing... how the testers thought this was good for the game... even the dev who designed this? Like... it really boggles my mind. Nullifying 6 items for so long basically may as well not even have items in the game.

You're just a Gold TFT player and someone who has never played ranked, considered as a casual player, but unlike the average players, you can actually think logically and you're so on point. _(People tend to disagree with you because they don't see the bigger picture or reasons behind it when you're pointing them out.)_ Just wanted to say thank you for pointing this out.

: Can we maybe give it more than less than a day before such major judgement -_- And of course everyone is trying to build hextech right now, they're brand new. This is going to happen with every new class/origin they add.

Are you those spoiled American kids who always get encouraged by trying their stupid ideas even if they were so obviously wrong? The dev is forcing everyone to run hextech comp with brawlers or else your team dies due to the lack of support of items.
: Riot: What a dirty trick. I really didn't think that you would stoop to this.
Talking about dirty? Let's talk about hot mic in league voice... It's still hasn't been fixed and hot mic is still the default where your party can just hear what's going on around you without saying anything, so that you will never notice if (or even if not) you're a newbie. Of course I was reading the patch note and I knew about it when it first came out in S8, but what they've intended to do was stupid and dirty af. Anyway, I think they've patched it and switched it back to Normal > Ranked instead of previous Ranked > Normal couple hours ago.
: Matchups
Couldn't agree more. Typical Riot developer. ↓ Apply this to Riot balance team's daily routine. **_"We've heard you, that you don't want this, Summoners. Let's make it this way."_** Often they will bring us more problems while solving one. And the problems they're creating is often the worse problems or the root of the original problem. _**"Why did we not want to face the same player twice in a row?"**_ It's because that we want to get to play against different players, aka every player. _(At least facing each player once in the the start of the match, a round robin first)_ But nope, the developers instead make us into playing against 3-4 players ONLY in like 8 consecutive rounds. How about the other half? Are they disconnected? Hello? This is Major Tom to ground control!

: "There's no counterplays against a fed assassin", what about CC, health stacking, Zhoyna's, peel abilities, untargetability, ranged harass, objective play, grouping....I could go on if you like. In low elo though....there's very little counterplay against a fed assassin. But tbh they're usually smurfs so it's not really fair to say they deserve to be nerfed.
> [{quoted}](name=KazKaz,realm=OCE,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=FRFxdxKx,comment-id=0003,timestamp=2019-08-07T12:04:18.153+0000) > > "There's no counterplays against a fed assassin", what about CC, health stacking, Zhoyna's, peel abilities, untargetability, ranged harass, objective play, grouping....I could go on if you like. > > In low elo though....there's very little counterplay against a fed assassin. But tbh they're usually smurfs so it's not really fair to say they deserve to be nerfed. You're right. But you know, solo queue players don't care. I just want to throw you a fact that **low diamond players still have no ideas how to play against a fed assassin, nor the game**. They'd just walk right into something without any backups and die, etc. I'd use an example from a game of mine: - There's a Rengar on the enemy team and we were sieging down mid Nexus turrets, but guess what my support did? My support {{champion:25}} did not buy 2 {{item:2055}} but {{item:3114}} {{item:3801}} + 4 other items. (She should have got 5 items + 2 pinks to prevent Rengar's ult) - That's a top ap rengar who got fked by me as Tahm Kench. Rengar was like 2-3 levels behind but he still found a way to kill my teammates and got to a point he was 12/12. My Caitlyn got deleted multiple times in a D3-D4 game. I'm really disappointed not because we lost, we won tbh, but because of these diamond players who are supposed to be good at the game. Buy {{item:2055}} against {{champion:107}} is pretty basic but why can't a Diamond 4 support be able to pull it out? Talking about "what one can do in theories against one specific situation" in solo queues is kind of not wise. You can't always tell your team what to do or when to back off. ~~You'd also often get muted as well if you've ever tried that.~~ **Why would the majority (97.5%) be able to understand how to play around a fed assassin even when a Diamond 4 (Top 2.5%) support doesn't?** (I could use many more examples from my games) - Go take a look at the S tier champ list in high elo (Pulling one from Mobalytics in 9.15) Top: {{champion:84}} {{champion:92}} {{champion:240}} (1.5 Assassins) (I count RIven as .5) Jungle: {{champion:107}} {{champion:76}} {{champion:60}} {{champion:20}} (2.5 Assassins) (Elise hiding in a bush counted as .5) Mid: {{champion:55}} {{champion:84}} {{champion:91}} {{champion:136}} {{champion:103}} (3 out of 5) Ever had fun playing against these assassin smurfs in gold? (Don't forget about the Twitch jungle smurfs in low elo)

: A big thing that bothered me about clash was that I would never be able to play it, I ALWAYS work weekends, and I'm ALWAYS at work @ 5. I sleep at @ 8 AM. So while I was really excited first about it, it wouldn't have worked. There should be a midnight clash as well for us night owls because it really made us feel like you don't care about a significant chunk of your player-base. Thank you for reading.

WORST PATCH EVER. Automatically joining voice chat as soon as you enter a party lobby by DEFAULT. I understand this is a feature doesn't come with the game originally, and you want to let people know that voice chat is now out. But here's no way it should be a default option, without asking for permissions. It's the same as hacking through someone's camera, in this case, it's just VoIP. Tbh, this wasn't a big deal to me but when you think about how it is as default

Seriously, learn to balance a champ. You still think Zoe's kit and the damages are reasonable. Of course not, but you'd really love to leave it untouched right now to gather more stats before you nerf her, real? Her E is bullshit, which leaves a zone for at least 2 seconds, plus now 2.2 second drowsy, that's a at least 4.5 seconds threat on the battlefield. Not to mention that the cooldown of her E is just about 8 seconds. All my stats are not accurate cause I don't want to look it up. Hire new people to do the math and balancing champions please, Riot.

Finally Riot, finally displays the number of stacks and remaining duration of {{champion:131}} 's passive. I had suggested that since the new {{champion:11}} was out, finally...
