IDK what ELO you play in but in low gold it's still possible to get drakes even when your botlane is getting crushed... you just have to have vision so you know what the enemy botlaners are doing. Kayn has one of those high skill cap kits that makes him incredibly strong if the player is good enough. Those are typically considered annoying even if their WR isn't terribly high. He's sitting at 50% right now. Ekko's performing better than 50% in two roles right now, one of them as the second most picked champion for the role... Alot like Thresh when he was **the** most popular support champion and still rocking a win rate a few points over 50%. When everyone and their mother is playing it, and it's still strong, it's a bit OP.

PvP modes have a really meta-bound playerbase. You'll get alot of flame from your allies if you pick offmeta stuff because they think you're sabotaging their chance of victory. This is bad because tilted players play worse. Your lane can be lost before it's begun if you're relying on a lane partner who thinks you're trolling. That said you can find a partner to duo with and then tilt won't have nearly as much effect on the outcome of the match, as your buddy will have faith and the complainers won't be in your lane.

Yes, a "premade duo" can hold your game "hostage". Where "premade duo" = your botlane who're winning and "hostage" = playing the game you signed up for when you entered the queue. If 2/5 of your team have not yet lost then the game is still winnable. Whether that's mid and jg or bot and support. All it takes is for the rest of the team to _not tilt_, play smart, and do what they can to help them carry.

Dunno what you're talking about. I love the new support items on the PBE. Not having to upgrade is such a boost to early game, which is when you need your strength the most to carry your ADC through his weak laning phase. Further the opening up of Relic to ranged supports allows enchanters access to that little bit of sustain that used to be exclusively tank/hook supports' privilege. This is such a buff to supports that like to sustain. I have yet to really see how it affects aggro mage supports.

I think her ball gives her unparallelled brush vision, but I usually find myself oom so fast in lane as support. Would you just take coin for mana and auto attack to harass?

The biggest thing is not using W much until you get some mana regen items. One W costs more than two Qs at level 1, so using it purely for damage is usually a bad idea. You'll get far more out of Q in the long run. Now if someone needs peeled or your ADC needs the boost to secure a kill then go for it. Not using it for trades helps you keep the cooldown for when you really need it. I prefer Spellthief but Coin is good for matchups like Zyra/Caitlin where I can't poke. Ori's got a short auto attack range so usually poking with autos isn't worth it, because if you have to shield then a Q poke would have been cheaper. The bush vision control is indeed a nice feature of Supporianna :)

(she doesn't work well with carries that don't like to trade.) What do they do sometimes? Pick Ez anyway. Now I know a few other champs. I could have swapped Yuumi because she actually works with Ez. But noooo they don't say or declare anything, and then they pick Ez when it's already too late for me to swap. So now i'm stuck trying to play "1v2 until Ez's tear starts stacking up and he can start doing things" as a champion with only enough mana to handle one opponent. As a support main, I love when junglers use pings. Ping me when you're going for a scuttle that the enemy might contest? Sweet, a chance to put my jungler ahead of theirs and support the whole team indirectly. Ping me when you've just cleared a camp and are moving into position to gank? Perfect. Now I can blow some mana on a poke knowing that the HP advantage will actually matter. That it won't be erased by lifesteal before a fight goes down. Just know that "mana: 6%" and "91% to level 6" are ping code for "please don't" and "not yet", respectively. See either of those and you might not want to gank, unless your plan does not require my help.

Enchanter supports: can't target them because they're always behind their carry. Hook supports: can't target someone who is only in range for 1.5 seconds before their CC lands and you don't get to move again until you're dead. Tank supports: can't target them unless they walk up to proc Relic, and if you do they'll just heal it off on base HP regen and Relic procs. Of course you know it's not really that simple. Hook and Tank supports have only their Relic Shield if they never go in. Poke supports can only land one spell on you from extreme range. Enchanter supports can only shield off roughly one spell or auto attack unless they want to step up and take risks. Every single support champion has to take risks to use more than a tiny portion of their kit. It is the same situation with Yuumi. Less than half of her kit can be used safely. You wanna beat healbot Yuumi? Just go all in. Your side of the lane has 2 champions and theirs has 1.4. You will win that fight every time unless you are bad.

Yesterday I had a Veigar mid type "somebody take mid because i'm gone" and begin flaming the jungler for not saving him from his _third death_. Then he rotated top to feed the top laner, and then bot after that. All the while stealing jungle buffs just to hand them to the enemy. It would have been nice to have FF at 5 so we could get on with reporting him instead of watching him int every member of the enemy team for the next 10 minutes while playing "new" and claiming everyone else is toxic. Good news is he was issued a penalty by an automated system. Bad news is op.gg has rank information on him going back to season 4, which means his childish attitude has been ruining games for _**at least 6 years**_ without getting a permaban. Also number of games per year has been few but gradually increasing, which leads me to suspect he had many alts, which he has been getting banned over the years. But hey, can't ban Smurfing because streamers and pros do it when they want to play offrole right? Not like there's [a solution](https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-discussion/eAnpTBm0-again-again-improve-the-punishment-system-by-not-allowing-people-to-bypass-it) that would accommodate those players while still cutting the number of perma-children using it to flaunt the rules.

Lulu's only not great right now because hard CC is far more valuable than slows. The reason for that of course is the fact that everyone dies in one double rotation bot, so one root = one death usually. Try Lux support.
