Hotarµ (NA) : Yeah, most 3rd party program bans are done in waves so the creators of actual, malicious programs can't reverse-engineer what's getting them caught. If I were getting boosted before and the perp was using scripts I would have been caught long ago, and if it was only promos, why was he playing my best champion? I disagree. If the account was using scripts then even if the actual account owner was unaware it needs to be banned ASAP. It sucks for OP to sort things out with support but there are a lot of people that don't realize their account was stolen until they get banned. OP was fortunate enough to have friends that notified them, but not everyone is. Leaving scripters to freely cheat is not an option. Bans are not always about punishing the player. Periscope (NA) : That’s pretty unfortunate you underwent that. Even if you think that’s the optimal strategy to poke (I do not), that doesn’t give others free reign to rage or afk. It does sound like they were behaving in an odd, but intentionally losing way, so I would submit a support ticket, specifically because their behavior unique and appeared to avoid intentional feeding detection. While it is pretty frustrating getting a player like that in your game, there presence does not mean that this behavior goes unpunished. Intentionally losing a game is typically met with a two week suspension when it’s caught. Ninjaultimo (NA) em > Exact problem with the league community Its a moderator. If you would read the ticket it states that days prior I had noticed settings changes, but dismissed them due to my solo q rank staying the same. ! previous game is hardly grounds for the establishment of a pattern, especially when match history was down all weekend, thus I had no means to check such a thing. Pika Fox (NA) : Submit a ticket to riot support. This has been an ongoing thing for some time now, and i believe also happened to my account. The MOMENT you see someone else log into your account, immediately open a riot support ticket for the issue to get resolved. They have been brute forcing passwords for years to carry a third account to high ELO while getting the stolen accounts banned for 3rd party software usage. Mine was never banned because i immediately reported it the moment i spotted random ass xerath games in my history before i got hit, but its entirely likely i would have been otherwise Ninjaultimo (NA) em > I got banned for games that I did not play I did. Charmy Bird (EUNE) : Riots handling of account security is beyind ridiculous and unacceptable. Almost every company is using 2step authentication but riot still hasn't implemented it, they said they will but its still not here even if the new client has already arrived. Riot need to put things in priority is security should be the most important one. Fix the client, secure our accounts then waste your resources in stupid skins and other games ure making. I hope u get your account back as long as u haven't messed with any of those sketchy websites then riot should give u a reward as a compensation because it's their fault. WTBeGirl100EUhr (EUW) : Sometimes permabans are issued on accounts that Riot believes have been compromised in order for the owner to recover the account before large charges are made using saved payment methods. I have heard a report before that said ban can actually come up as Third Party Programs. That said. Riot believes that you are responsible for actions taken on the account. This means that if your account is compromised and another person uses banned third-party programs on said account they will ban the account and it will remain banned irregard of absolute proof that it was not you performing the action because it was performed on your account. Finally, none of your steam mods will cause an issue. Some non-related programs, such as Cheat Engine, can cause issues if they are running when you launch the game (the game will fail to launch most of the time) but these are exclusively programs where the stated or primary use is for cheating in games. I'm not sure if that will count as cheating but things like the combat and the talents are changed as a result of some of the mods that I was running. I said it down below, but one of my friends mentioned that a similar thing happened to him when he had divinity open, and he said it was the product of mods he had open at the time. About the person using my account, I assure you that I did not hire a booster, nor would I want one. If I were to have hired a booster it would have been for ranked solo/duo. You can see on my account that the champs are inconsistent with champs I play regularly, and I'm pretty sure neither champ has even been touched in my ranked games. Ninjaultimo (NA) : I got banned for games that I did not play Ninjaultimo (NA) em > I got banned for games that I did not play It was brought to my attention that when I tried to log on to my account when there was someone else playing on it, I had divinity open. when I received the error message and could not log on, it could very well have been one of the many mods that I have from steam, to use divinity. I have downloaded lots of mods for Divinity Original Sin 2 and a few for CS:GO. With this in mind, it would be useful to know the type of third party application detected because it could very well be a harmless steam mod that was running. Seeing as I have already dealt with the breach in my account, this would clear up the third-party app problem, thus the permaban could be revoked (if thats a thing thats done). Ir para comentário
