: The level 3 off either side is a very good change for junglers though, why complain about _that_ change and not the actual problematic one?
Because eventually junglers will settle on an optimal route since the jungle doesn't exist in a vacuum, and Riot will come back to say that there's no jungle route diversity and make another tune-up on a problem they perpetuate

: Tencent has no control over LoL outside china, so we should be fine. Anything that happens would be on riot themselves.
But Tencent is making money off you if you purchase LoL content anywhere, plus I think Chinese citizens matter? They're committing fraud and you're still willing to support them based on some notion that the NA release follows magic rules where international business won't conspire against you. Not to mention all the Hong Kong stuff.

: The single most tilting thing you can see in all of LoL
I don't ban anything in normals because there's too many champs I don't like to ban just one of them, so I rather not deprive anyone of the champ they want to play. The actual most tilting thing in League is when you log in to play something for fun and it gets banned. Might as well learn the game and git gud instead of trying to crutch on bans in non-ranked gameplay.
: ARE THE DEVS NOT GETTING PAID WELL ENOUGH? WTF IS GOING ON?
i'd say the TFT devs are getting paid more than enough considering TFT is not a league game and shouldn't exist or take any resources at all

TFT is a tragedy to this game. Killing off actual game-play for some random piece of shit trading card game. The only alternative game-modes we have left are random garbage. THe most interesting game-modes we've seen are almost always one-offs that may never come back. COOPerative PvE game-modes? Nah bitch here's a fucking DotA2 mini-game.

: Nothing happened to them and they start where they always did. Blizzard has no interest in maintaining a coherent story or world, and so they just use phasing.

How does that work? Do you leave Teldrassil and then get a cutscene where it blows up?
: Is this a new WoW xpac? Did they really remove a continent? I guess that's one way to reduce the maintenance burden.

: I feel like this topic should get locked so I don't get banned from writing 30 paragraphs about human biological determinism, clustered genetic variance, and biological realism, taxonomical revisionism and refute the "out of africa theory" with the multi-regional hypothesis. Yes, humans are animals. There are approximately 16 different X chromosome haplogroups with different roots and origins and places of derivation, there are some 4-5 mtDNA haplogroups each with their own derivation and origins. The human "race" is far more nuanced and complex than social scientists and pop-science like Bill Nye want to lead gullible idiots into believing. In all of nature there is NO equality, there is *order*, there is the *order* of life, the Lion eats the Gazelle, the Gazelle eats the grass, the dead fertilize new growth to feed the herbivores, the herbivores feed the carnivores, and the cycle is complete. There is order and structure and perfect harmony. As Nasus says "The cycle of life and death continues", all organisms compete for survival, for space, for resources, for breeding and sustenance. "Human beings" need to be reordered on the taxonomical tree. There is a smaller biological divergence between Chimpanzees and Bonobos than between Native Sami people of Sweden and Sub-Saharan Africans. We recognize the differences in "lesser organisms" like lower order apes; IE... chimps and bonobos, but we WILL not turn the lens towards ourselves... There *are* distinct sub-species within the genus "homo" and they should be recognized for what they are. There are 14 different sub-species of brown bear classed, scientifically classed, as *races* of brown bear and we understand this and accept this. The "Human race" is no different. Even among Europeans, the structure of the foot can show from which region we're descended, Celts, Romans and Germanic descendants have different foot shapes and different phalanx (toe bones) structures. We adapt and evolve to thrive in a set environment, no different from the Kodiak and Grizzly, two subspecies of brown bear... it would be morally and ethically wrong to force the mixture of Kodiak and Grizzly bears by artificially introducing one to the other environment, and so... as an intellectually honest person I have to assert that human sub-species conservationism is an integral facet of any environmental protectionism. As Madison Grant once said; "No man has divine commission to pollute the streams with sawdust, to destroy the forest with axe and fire, or to kill every living thing within reach of trap, shot or poisoned bait. The mere fact that man has the power to destroy does not, in itself, confer a right" I find it morally reprehensible to disrupt the order of nature that has emerged through reproductive success for the sake of proving some arbitrary moral supposition. tl;dr. I agree OP

I agree OP I don't know a lot about the deeper science of it but I just had some feelings. I was trying to come up with some counter-arguments to my thought and I said "well isn't the beaver just following some natural evolutionary impulse to build a dam? It's not the same as human tool-making and use" That's when I realized this is a totally backwards way of thinking.

: Pretty sure most people would recognize either of Ryze, Ahri, or Katarina instead. Teemo has never been a mascot more than those three.
absolutely not, Ryze and Katarina are just old-school champs that were in a lot of old-school promo material. Ahri is nothing but sex-bait and asian memes for the chinese audience. Teemo and Annie are pretty much the #1 mascots
: Vayne eh, but Teemo is definitely hiding under Riot's radar somehow. I was so hoping the Teemo ~~gutting~~ rework was gonna go through.
