: Yeah i mean they claim they want versatility and creativity but with runes reforged and nerfing new picks they keep limiting the community to just sticking to the meta and classic picks. P.S. Old runes and masteries allowed for much greater creativity, new runes are so limitating, most champions are able to choose from 2 to 3 at most paths.

Old runes and masteries allowed for much greater creativity, new runes are so limitating, most champions are able to choose from 2 to 3 at most paths. I couldn't agree more. My favorite thing is to use champions in unorthodox ways. It's hard enough to deal with close-minded players who flame anything out of the ordinary, but then to finally find something good just to have riot take it away is ridiculous. The old runes were way better than the current system. Just like you said, way more variety. It was a true risk vs reward system with the old runes. For example, I had a rune page of all the highest AS runes for each color and could choose that page, just over 40% AS, to try on champs with the risk of no defensive runes. I had many pages with all sorts of variety. The new runes are rather boring and just plain stupid for some of them.

: Video Evidence of Botting And Nothing Is Being Done
I assume this is Riot's program/bot(s) or multiple fake profiles of which they use to squash negative comments, feedback and input about their game when they see it pop up on the boards. Then, people assume the community has spoken and the person's and idiot and their post is basically shunned to the corner of the Riot forums.
: I like playing normals becuase you get to face plat/diamonds, but the worst part of norms is people surrender at 15-20 minutes nearly every game. It gets pretty annoying after like 3-4 straight 15 minute surrenders. Its crazy; people will surrender norms literally being down a couple kills, but will be down 2 inhibs and not surrender ranked.

I've noticed it's actually worse in ranked...the giving up immediately strategy

: Dude you're complaining about ranks in a Normal game. You might as well complain about how many hamburgers the enemy team can eat compared to yours because it holds as much relevance to the matchmaking as what their rank is. Ranked MMR and Normal MMR is completely separate in every single way possible. Someone who's Grandmaster in ranked could have Bronze MMR in Normals because they haven't played Normals since they were a Bronze player. If they start playing Normals though their MMR will start to climb until they got Grandmaster MMR in Normals as well.

: Appearing offline
Riot doesn't give a f*** about their players so this won't happen. If they haven't given us this option in the roughly 10 years they've been around then I doubt the ever will. Supreme developers

: Elder execute is NO FUN FOR ANYBODY
All this talk about team strategy, better map control, better communication, etc. What are you guys on? This game has some of the worst cooperation in team play than any other game just because of how big the map is and how many variable exist. I play for fun, but at low and mid elos and even some high elos there is a often times a disconnect between team mates as, oddly enough, online play doesn't inspire many to cooperate with people they don't know and can't see. You think this is an issue in ranked, try norms. The problems with team tactics are exponentially worse. Also, for some reason people find the map very difficult to use consistently and I have no idea why. Awareness is the most commonly lacked skill in this game aside from warding. I love the idea of an interactive map, but the drags are all too powerful. Comebacks are increasingly difficult and few and far between with this new idea of Riots. It is far easier for one person or one lane to completely sabotage the team's chance at a win with this new play style. I'm not saying they are doing it on purpose, but it happens a lot more often now. I get Riot wants to reduce the time frame of games, but most games aren't even competitive anymore. It's just a slaughter one way or the other and you have to hope you are lucky enough to get queued with the winning team; almost like it's already decided before the game starts. It's like RNG overrules skill now. I can only hope for the best and do my best to be positive and hope Riot listens to the community. Not that the community is always valid or goes along with the bigger picture which we are not aware of due to proprietary reason. Signing off, Dr. Scott

: How can a server drop in quality.

That's actually an easy one. Popularity increases without the developer investing more money in more or faster servers. Developers attempt to trim the fat on their spending by reducing the number of servers or speed of the servers. They can also change providers for servers and have a change in quality, whether they expect it or are surprised. Throttling can be initiated during peak times. The list goes on my friend. The bottom line is game play is suffering, unfortunately. More players are expressing frustrations with lag, which cannot just be a coincidence. There has to be some truth to it whether the developers can explain it or not. FPS is also an issue lately for a lot of people. These issues are also being identified as solely with League and not the other games on the computer. I for one am experiencing both of these issues and also don't have them with any other game on my computer. I have even tried reducing the graphics quality drastically, but the game just looks worse and has the same issues. *sad face* I hope Riot can get on it and make drastic improvements to keep their clientele happy. This has been an 8 year hobby for me and I hope to keep it playing and spending money on new skins and chromas. $600+ to date so I am certainly invested in this game and the success of it. : I love League's characters but I don't like the gameplay
I do agree, but also understand the game is going to evolve it is going to have a shot at being popular for an extended period of time. My biggest issue isn't this, but rather the ability to play a cordial game and actually have fun without bringing out the toxic trolls. I am 34, I am a doctor (not that anyone believes this or anything following my age), I have my own clinic, I have a son and a wife, I have real world responsibilities. I cannot dedicate time to climbing a latter just to avoid the mud at the bottom. I wish I could avoid the mud (people who insist on ruining the game and any chance of fun while playing it), but there currently isn't a way to do this unless you grind ranked. Ageism is also an issue as I catch way too much crap from children, teens, and idiot young adults just because of my age. I know in the long run I likely already have attained more in my life than they will unless they have a huge attitude check, but it's still frustrating to have an 8 year hobby threatened by a worsening culture. I've invested over $600 into this game and only have one account, but I may need to consider a different hobby when I'm trying to relax at night. Signing off, Dr. Scott

: STOP making me play with premades!!
I wholeheartedly agree. I get matched up with so many bad teams who always gang up on you regardless of how bad they may be. They will all report you and you can get restrictions or bans just for being a victim. You are literally paralyzed with your options. If you report all of them it just looks like you hate the world and want to report everyone. I don't understand why there isn't a "Solo" queue. That is, a queue just for people who are playing solo; no premades. I have a very social job and active social life with my family (I have a son and wife). League is my time to not talk to people and to just try and enjoy connecting with friendly people via typing. It allows me to reset after a busy day. It can be very difficult to do this when premades insist on taunting and heckling solo players knowing they will outnumber them in team speak as well as reporting. In addition to the solo queue I would love to see an option for 1v1 matches where I can challenge trolls in order to put them in their place. There is way too much talk in this game and not enough walk. Every time I tell someone I am not a ranked player, hence my low elo, they just berate me. I tell them to put their money where their mouth is, but they make excuses as to why they won't 1v1, such as my low elo. I would love the opportunity to bet people with skins, essence, in game currency (whatever it's being called now) or anything to sweeten the pot. Without this option, this behavior will continue to go unchecked. I'm not saying it would solve anything, but it would make a lot of players happy when they shut down a troll. The only other thing I can do is dedicate hours of time to ranked queue just for the sake of the "image" hoping it will carry some weight when trying to hush the toxicity. Signing off, Dr. Scott

: Where's our response on this FPS/DC Issue Riot
I just tried Yuumi and you don't see the first 1/4 of the Q and the rest of it is glitchy as hell. I played against a Swain sup recently and you can hardly see his E, just at the end, then it disappears again or you get hit by seemingly nothing. I am noticing a lot of combos not working such as using Thresh's ult right after QQ. Wtf did you do to this game Riot? I also have lag issues randomly when I have an amazing internet connection. The game loves to freeze more now too, even in TFT. This is literally the only game on my computer that has issues. I can play any other game w/o freezing, w/o glitchy play and low FPS regardless of the amazing video card and lowered graphic setting. No issues playing many other games on highest graphics setting. Best part is because this game is the most popular in the world our concerns, complaints, constructive feedback or scrutiny, and frustrations will all be ignored. I've spend around $600 dollars on this game because it used to be fun and I like the variety of different skins. I'm not saying it isn't fun now, but there is only the potential for it instead of a guarantee. I don't care much for serious play and hardly commit any effort to ranked because all I want to do is come home from a long day and have fun playing games. However, many times I step away from the game because I'm much more stressed or irritated than I was before I started playing, which was after an annoying work day or w/e. I've also been so stubborn as to continue playing until I get a match w/o toxicity, trolls and inting, but this can sometimes take four, five or six+ hours. I've even stepped away after those long stretches not even having had one friendly game. Sad how you can stick up for yourself or others against trolls and then get a chat restriction for retorting back, even if it isn't swearing, prejudicial, or violent in nature. This is letting the trolls win. If they are allowed to control the nature of the game knowing if they troll they will either completely ruin the game and waste everyone's time or bring people down to their level and win in the long run anyway. Not to mention all the ageism involved in this game. You're either ripped on for being too young or ripped on for being too old. I honestly try very, very hard to like and enjoy this game and I never want to be a negative example. I have gotten chat restrictions I deserved when I was an A-hole because I drank too much. I don't drink anymore, but the struggle is real to not be that guy when you consistently come across people who insist on ruining the game because Riot won't take this issue seriously. I also think I try really hard to like the game just because of how much money I've sank into it, but this can only be a motivating factor for so long. My biggest fear in expressing frustrations about the game is an account ban where I just lose hundreds of dollars. I have one account. That's it. I just want to have fun. If I lose my one and only account I'll just be done. Signing off, Dr. Scott
: is my friend delusional??
Are you really asking the community if you should continue to play with a player with a bad attitude and who makes you a worse player or at least to appear as such? ........................ ............................... Ofc you should not play with this guy.....
: Client Keeps crashing mid game and freezing my entire machine
I have used the repair tool multiple times, uninstalled/reinstalled multiple times, rebuilt my computer assuming this was my issue and still I have the exact same issue. I wish I had looked into all these forums, LoL and others, before putting money into my computer needlessly. Just think, if LoL had solved this problem I would have had more money to spend on skins...I do that a lot, but won't if I can't play obv...
: Client Keeps crashing mid game and freezing my entire machine
I am experiencing the same thing and the repair tool does not help. Either the game freezes upon trying to load from the lobby or it freezes in game. Task manager populates, but I cannot alt+tab to anything. Now all I can do is ctr+alt+del and sign out and sign back in. Thankfully I finally figured out this works after many hard resets. This is the only game on the computer I have any issues with. This has been at least 5 months now and I have had to come back from many negative reports and "low priority queue" which isn't even a queue, just a long wait before actually queuing you. What gives Riot? How have you not addressed this?

: Level Beyond 30
Unlocking new champions is nearly impossible with the new system. We have no idea when we will be able to unlock another champion. I only need another 20 to have them all and that should have been attainable, but with the new system I don't even see it happening bc grinding doesn't get you anything. I just hit level 36 and didn't even get any rewards for leveling. WTF happened to that stupid capsule we are supposed to get? I can't even imagine being a new player now. Good luck trying to unlock champions without dumping hundreds of dollars in the game, this "free" game. I've got like 50 skins and don't have a problem spending some money on fun things, but this new system is like playing an impossible game at the arcade where we just keep pumping in quarter after quarter to no avail. This is clearly an extremely poor attempt to disguise the true intentions of the change which was to rape the LoL community's wallet.
: Ask Riot How You Get That S+ on Urgot
Stats are supposed to reflect playing, not affect playing. People who play for stats ruin games. With stats there will always be this problem. People think stats have something to do with how you play, but nowadays it doesn't. Too many people buy stats, cheat for stats, do whatever they can to appear cool or good. I can't tell you how many times I've shut down "good" players because they thought comparing stats meant they were better, but in reality you cannot rest on your laurels. Same problem is across all gaming platforms and games. Creating more opportunity to assess gameplay is only going to make a game worse. Take CoD for example, I didn't prestige or give a damn about stats and people talked crap like it mattered. Then in game, I'd always be on top. Even going nearly 4 perfect free-for-all games ending 120-4 (all 4 deaths last game) just to shut down some idiot who thought his stats meant he was good. He still talked crap bc of stats regardless of how we both just played. I stopped playing those games bc of stats and may do the same if LoL continues to put focus on statistics over the gaming experience. I have many champs who can be leveled to 6 and eventually 7 bc an 'S' score really isn't very hard to obtain. I refuse to level the champs bc it literally means NOTHING! Just like skins, they don't impact champ stats or how they play.
: Champion Mastery Levels 6 and 7 live now!
Why does leveling up matter? What good is the number next to the name when it has nothing to do with the performance of the round just played. I don't see any incentive to using essence or indirectly spending money to acquire a higher level. S scores isn't the problem. Putting items into obtaining the lvl is what seems odd.
: New champ select replaces Team Builder
I agree with most of these people completely. TB was perfect bc you were guaranteed to play what you wanted. Now it sometimes takes me more than a day to get one match with who/where I want and then it's still a toss up if my team mates are going to ruin the experience or not. At least TB gave me freedom to have fun regardless of team skill levels bc I was at least playing what I wanted. The update to draft mode is great, but it is completely different than TB. Telling us TB was still around, but modified is complete BS. This new draft mode is way different than anything b4...why not have both? If you can't, get TB and get rid of blind picks as they mostly lead to unhappy people and teams and the most trolling is encountered here. Side note: Speaking of trolls, why do you insist on FF times being so long when the team needs to agree before it happens anyway? In ARAM teams can be extremely unbalanced, but still take forever (especially if the other team is purposefully delaying winning bc they too op). Normal games have team breakdowns and huge trolls. Yet, I'm forced to waste my life getting pissed off (on occasion) in order to avoid being punished for going AFK when I'd rather be studying for my doctorate than have my emotions toyed with by a troll. The management of this game needs work!
