: Username update client prompt in OCE region is still active.
Thank you for letting us know. Something went wrong with the turnoff process, but we've just gone back in and fixed OCE.
: What is the subject heading of the email? I want to know so I can keep an eye out for it.
The email is called "Riot Account update required"
Roigaar (EUW)
: Speaking of "stay signed in", this client change highlighted a very annoying problem that makes it impossible for this feature to help with the discomfort of having to change usernames: for those of us with accounts in multiple servers, something as simple as a main account and a PBE account, usernames are not remembered when we change servers. If I open the drop down menu and choose PBE, both fields will be blank. When I go back to my main account, I'll click on the server on the drop down menu and, again, I will find both fields empty. This seems like an issue that can be easily fixed: make the client remember the usernames for people not signing in automatically, for any of the servers they log into. I can't stress how irritating it is to have to input Username every single time I swap between servers. Now that I was forced to change, it's even more so.
This is an interesting suggestion. I'll pass it along!

: The amount of prestige points from milestone missions is still underwhelming. You still require 1000 for the skin you want. So this is still basically a pay to get skin if you only do milestones. Unless wins and defeats gives you any. Anyhow, that would require playing an absurd amount of games too. Sucks for us with little time and priorities for our money.
You only need 100 prestige points for a points skin ({{champion:266}}, {{champion:103}}, {{champion:105}}, {{champion:28}}). If the only way you get prestige points is through the milestone missions, you'll get one points skin every four events.

: So, uhhhh. Riot Aether! What are your gameplay thoughts? The floor's all yours!
lol you don't want my gameplay thoughts, I'm not a dev so I don't have to be reasoned or objective with my answers
: Hey Meddler! First off congrats on the new Sapling! Second, you mentioned last week there would be some discussion on the state of {{champion:50}} Any details on if he'll get some love?
Swain seems to be doing alright by the numbers right now so the team doesn't have immediate plans for changes ......also are you implying SapMagic is the other father?
: Before leaving can we know if you (or the one working on Wukong) will make a thread to explain changes or goal ?? Or if you will open a discussion with Wukong mains (subreddit).
Wukong work isn't far enough along to ship while Meddler is out, so we'll likely hold off on discussing it broadly until some point after he gets back and has a chance to catch back up with everything that happened on League while he was out

: Anything for Zac please? His R is currently bugged, I reported 1 week ago.{{champion:154}}
What's the bug? I found your post saying his R is bugged but can't find a description of what you ran into.

: - Mini-Rift,intresting. {{champion:28}} Edit: Hmm,we can take waterwalking(runes) on bot/mid and try to stay on the river so we have an advantage.Also gatheringstorm is kinda bad,if is fast-paced mode.
We've tuned a lot of runes, including Gathering Storm, around the pace of action and game length of Nexus Blitz! ([Post here with details](https://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/client-new-features-feedback/2GZaFmfx-nexus-blitz-pbe-patch-notes-and-feedback) !)

: Will there be new creatures on that map? On the top left, near the outer jungle turret I see something that looks like a Red Gromp haha Also, one good suggestion that @Beany mentioned, I would also love to see some kind of different design for the whole map later on [if the mod proves good] We have Howling Abyss that's ICE-ICE baby.. Summoners Rift that is mostly towards Demacia/Valoran/Noxus region? How about you put this one in Ionia or maybe Targon?
The current monsters are temporary, as is the map overall. If we make Nexus Blitz a permanent mode, we'll create a full theme for the map (potentially one of the factions you mentioned; we haven't had that conversation yet), which the monsters will be a part of!

: You guys wound up bugging out Lucent Singularity with the new patch, so that if you try pre-detonating it, it charges you the mana cost again, and it won't even let you pre-detonate if you don't have the mana. https://clips.twitch.tv/KindObservantChickenOptimizePrime Any chance that this gets hotfixed this patch?

: I expect we'll look at hotfixing it today if possible. Having said that I'm not at work yet and it cropped up overnight (I'm assuming in the new patch), so we haven't had time in the office to coordinate on patch responses yet.

: I will admit I do like the new organization, but I think I prefer the old style of context for each champion, rather than the broad context of the group. Also I hope they just excluded the summing up of a champion's changes. (Ex: "Q mana cost increased. W Damage increased at all levels." That sort of thing) Since it's way more reader-friendly to see that stuff.
Even if we decide to stick with this organization style, per-champ contexts will make a return as the balance team gets back into the swing of more complex changes. 7.24b was almost entirely simple numerical buffs/nerfs with each champ being strictly buffed or nerfed. Typical patches include more complex changes focused on power reallocation, mechanical adjustments, and other stuff that warrants some walking through. Same reasoning applies to why the quick summaries were missing!
: New Patch Notes Organization is Great.
Thanks for walking us through your thoughts! We figured 7.24b would be a good candidate to test these changes since it's a pretty small patch overall—I think 1050 words, whereas we usually come in at 2-3x that many. That helped offset the potential risk of the new structure being _more_ confusing, since buckling down and reading the whole thing is a significantly shorter task this time around. One thing we haven't come up with great solutions for is (a) one-off changes like {{champion:33}}, and (b) changes that have a broader effect than their placement in the notes imply, like the {{item:3134}} stuff. If anyone's got suggestions, we'd love to hear 'em!
: We're working on figuring out why! They're formatted in the way they should be, so not quite sure why they're not appearing :P
alright fuck it they're just hyperlinks now which I guess is an improvement over "literally no one can access them" but still :/ {{sticker:zombie-nunu-bummed}}

That section was written by LaBoka, who incidentally **is** an intern. So yes, we can blame him. COME AT ME BOKA <3

Hey everyone! Wanted to let you know where we landed with this exploit - and to be clear, this **was** an exploit requiring game manipulation in violation of the Terms of Service, we **are** identifying abusers (fortunately a small number), and we **are** in the process of banning offending accounts. Regarding the exploit itself, we patched out a server-side fix this morning (no download necessary on your end) and based on initial monitoring, the issue is resolved. Beyond today's fix, we're continuously working every patch to quietly improve our code so problems like this don't hit live servers, though we won't get into specifics for security reasons. We also wanted to chat about our decision to leave Ashe enabled. As several of you noted, the exploit in question wasn't limited to Ashe, so in handling this particular issue, disabling her would just have led to offending parties sniffing out other abuse cases. Us providing this explanation yesterday would unfortunately have led to the same consequences as well. Withholding information from you is always uncomfortable for us but in situations like this we have to be sure we won't cause more problems for everyone by being up-front. Thanks for sticking with us on this one, friends.
: THANK YOU. I wanted to hear Adobe Air disappear someday :') These are real tears btw. Thank you. :')
(Emphasis on 'someday' for now - we've got a long road ahead of us to get there!)

: What about the spectating live games? I enjoy watching those from time to time
If you're talking about the Featured Matches in the upper lefthand corner of the live client, we'll still have the ability to put those matches on the landing page, but the update lets us replace it with news or content depending on what's relevant at the time. If you're talking about Spectate in general, you'll still be able to spectate your friends through the Friend List! {{champion:161}} {{champion:161}} {{champion:161}} {{champion:161}} {{champion:161}} {{champion:161}} {{champion:161}} {{champion:161}} {{champion:161}}
: will the new patcher and client be twice as big or the same size because twice as big would call for some really big changes {{summoner:10}}
The patcher definitely got bigger - same dimensions as the client, which'll be staying at its current size. Just prettier :D
: Where does Flash go?
I used to put Flash on F, but then it Flashed and ended up on D

: I would suggest you link the champion splash that you are encouraging people to buy to the actual champion page so they can easily see what the champion is all about. Plus, after all that hard work on the champion page design it will get some traffic over there.
An earlier version did this but we replaced it with lightboxing. The standard expectation on LoL.com is that clickable images link to full-sized views (eg screenshots in new skin announcements) but that rule may be bendable in this case since the loading screen banners aren't the same as full splash images anyway.
: One thing that's kind of annoying for me (I'm at work atm so the monitor is fairly small) is clicking the art to open the splash makes the artwork expand the page past my viewing area, and just clicking the background doesn't remove the image, so I have to manually scroll over the bottom right of the image and click the X everytime I look at a full splash.
Good feedback on lightboxing. I'll pass it along to our developers.
: Definitely cleaner, definitely more efficient. Mission accomplished there! From a general sales standpoint, I do wonder why you don't also show the original price to show the amount saved if they buy it now/then. I am not a salesperson or business guy at all though so it's really just curiosity on my part.
I'll ask ecommerce about this; from a technical standpoint it's simple to do.
