Its 13 now? Man, getting more and more demanding to play Liam O'Brien... I remember when it was a 0/10/0 powerspike before he turned into Kenobi and became more powerful than you can possibly imagine, Darth.

Honestly, I don't know why this isn't a feature already. Seems like the kind of thing that should have been implemented no later than season 3, and possibly at launch.

: 20+ professionals, 200+ collective years of design experience
Someone needs to tweet at that boy "was it your 200+ collective years of experience that allowed you to realize that giving Akali True Stealth in her rework was a bad idea, and that's why you removed it before releasing it... oh wait... you released her with it even though MANY players told you it was a bad idea... and then later removed it, implicitly admitting that those players were right and YOU guys and your 'experience' were wrong..."
: This Game has way to much Damage
See, here's the thing. You want to prolong the games with this change, which I agree would be better. The problem is that Riot DOESN'T want longer games. Look at the changes introduced this off season: - Possibility of getting 2 rift heralds, which can help take out more turrets faster, and thus end the game faster - Dragon Soul, which gives a huge power spike to the entire team that get's it, helping them to close out the game - Elder Dragon, which is just flat out bullshit in its execute function and causes the team with it to have a massive advantage in team fights to, guess what, finish games off... and also crowds out champions who are SUPPOSED to want to fight at lower health values, like Olaf for example, but that's just a problem of shortsightedness Riot's part They literally just added a bunch of additional "objectives" to the game that help end the game faster. Baron was already a huge advantage for the team that get's it, since they basically get to push each lane with impunity and the other team can't push back. Now you've got even more power that can just straight up end the game, and before anyone tries to say that Dragon Soul or Elder Dragon are "late game objectives", no, they aren't. They can be claimed before the 30 minute mark, and make comebacks even harder to achieve than they already were in Riot's enforced snowball meta. Now yes, obviously none of those additions just automatically end the game when someone gets them, but the team who is ahead when they become available has a huge advantage in claiming them, which favors snowballing. The BEST change they made this pre-season? Well, actually it was removing {{item:3161}} ... but the NEXT best change this pre-season was turret plates giving less gold. Now, personally, I think turret plates should give NO gold at all, and should simply exist to make taking turrets harder in the early portion of the game. But then again, that's because I think the lane pressure and wave control of taking a turret is reward enough for claiming that "objective" tl;dr - Riot wants games to end faster, which is easily proven by how many additional rewards there are to be had for the team that get's a lead. As if having more items and more levels for more base stats wasn't enough of an advantage.
: Aphelios is the protagonist of his own game
The problem is that CertainlyT tries too hard to make his champion designs and reworks "unique and fun to play" for the ONE person playing them without regard for what the experience of playing AGAINST that champ will be like for the FIVE people playing against them. The champion who he did his best work on was the Warwick update, which I distinctly remember learning that he was REALLY reigned in and giving set limitations on how to rework WW. And look at that, unlike Aphelios, Akali, Yasuo, Zoe, and Kalista... Warwick hasn't actually been a balance nightmare at any point since CT worked on him. That's right, CT's best work on a champion was done when he WASN'T allowed to "get creative" with it and instead was restricted in how he would design the champion. CT is creative with his champion designs, and that's great, but this is NOT a single player game. Its multiplayer, and the vast majority of the time it is VS mode, not purely co-operative. "Creative, fun and unique" ideas are fine and good, but they should NEVER take priority over the game being actually balanced and fair to play for everyone involved. Unfortunately, CT doesn't seem to "get" that. Remember Zoe LITERALLY one-shotting people with her Q? Akali's "true stealth" that Riot was told before release was a mistake by everyone with a working mouth and brain, and they eventually admitted defeat and removed it? Thresh getting constantly nerfed after his release? Kalista being the most oppressive and un-interactive ADC in the game whenever she's allowed to be viable? Yasuo just generally being easily one of the most hated champions in the game since release? CT would be a GREAT game designer for a single player action or RPG game, or even co-op-vs.-AI action or RPG games, like Diablo. League is player vs. player. Both sides of that equation should be able to enjoy themselves. CT's designs consistently do something that makes the game not be fun to play for people playing against one of his champions.
: I seriously don't get why HotS has it but League doesn't.
I would rather buy the Gangplank announcer voice (for ALL game modes, please... unless those game modes have another special announcer I guess) than be given the full eternals experience for EVERY champion for FREE. I'd probably also buy the SG Ahri announcer voice too, though I'd use Gangplank more, just because I enjoy his commentary and playing him more than Ahri. Also, same as Gangplank, I'd be happier buying the Ahri announcer than getting eternals for free.

: The reason has always been that pink wards were counters to stealth champions, and always having a slot dedicated to fucking over those champions would be extremely shitty to play against. It's a little different now, but still relatively the same. Imagine playing Shaco and every enemy in the game now has a dedicated slot to just fucking you over. Teemo is another good example.

Imagine playing Shaco and every enemy in the game now has a dedicated slot to just fucking you over. > > Teemo is another good example. There are only 5 champions who are revealed by Control Wards during their stealth. However, it should be noted that these champions are also visible if you are close to them, without needing a Control Ward. They are: {{champion:28}} (Passive after Level 6) {{champion:555}} (W) {{champion:107}} (R) {{champion:29}} (Q) {{champion:235}} (E) Also, while Camouflage can be revealed both by Control Wards and by standing near the stealthed champion, Camouflage also usually lasts longer than Invisibility. The shortest Camouflage in the game is Pyke's, at 5 seconds, during which he ALSO get's a huge Movement Speed boost, meaning he can still gap close quickly anyway. The longest, if you can even count it, is Evelynn, who can theoretically stay in Camouflage the entire game after she hits level 6. Comparatively, the shortest Invisibility in the game is Kai'sa's, as it lasts only half a second. The longest is Teemo's, which like Evelynn's, could theoretically last the entire game, though that would make for a very useless Teemo. The only thing Control Wards actually do against Camouflaged champions is make it so that they can't just run through any path they like as much as they want to get to a target unseen 100% of the time. They have to, you know, actually worry about the possibility of getting caught out themselves. Essentially, if your team puts control wards at all of the riverside jungle entrances on your side of the map, then a champion like REngar or Evelynn can't just waltz into your jungle with zero risk and go kill the ADC farming a side lane in what should be a safe location. They would first need to kill the control ward, or else hope that the ADC and their team aren't paying attention. So, basically, no champions get "fucked over" by Control Wards. If you become Invisible, they don't reveal you, if you become Camouflaged, enemy champions can see you just by being near you, so using a Camouflage ability when you're right in front of someone doesn't really do anything anyway. In essence, you are right that OLD Pink Wards were massive counters to stealth champions back in the day. But that's just not the case anymore, since most stealth champions aren't revealed by Control Wards, and those that are revealed by them would be revealed by close proximity to an enemy champion anyway, with the Control Wards really just serving to prevent them from getting too much of an advantage from their longer lasting stealth.
: "What do you do as a toplaner when you get ganked?"-A tierlist.
Just to point out, depending on when the gank happens, Nasus will often join Illaoi in that top category if it comes after he's reached a certain number of stacks. Hell, in some match-ups, if the gank happens at any point after Nasus is level 6, he just kills them both, stack count be damned.

Same on the tattoo, so there's that. Even if the clone got an identical tattoo, mine would look older and the clone's would still be healing most likely. If the tattoo isn't an optional solution, then I think it really just has to then depend on what kind of personality changes there are with the clone being evil. Are they more violent? More selfish? More cowardly? My loved one would hopefully spot the difference.

Tanks need an item that gives un-typed %damage reduction (say, 20% of incoming damage, as a unique passive) as well as health, and maybe a beneficial active that gives a self-shield of %max HP value to even absorb true damage. It needs to give absolutely ZERO offensive stats, including CDR, so that its only good on someone wanting to soak damage. This way tanks will have a defensive items that doesn't care about armor pen or magic pen, and provides hybrid defenses.

Actually praising Riot's rules like it's the 10 commandments from God, lmfao. 1. "Special snowflakes". Nice ad hominem. Also, my name is not "Johnny", not even close. Again, stay away from ad hominem, its a clear attempt to goad someone into forgetting the point of the enlargement at best. At least you moved on from dated attempts at personal attacks, so congratulations on that. 2. Its not about the game being winnable. AFKing is against the rules. Playing off meta is not. If Riot followed their own rules, NB3 would have been punished instead of Nubrac. Hypocrisy is unbecoming and unprofessional. 3. He didn't intentionally put his team behind. He got the Irelia mid first blood. That's literally the opposite. 4. Common sense is "we have a gold lead, let's rage quit"? Interesting. This is why the term "common sense" is relative and therefore appeals to it are mreaningless. 5. Again, you fail to establish that the Teemo player was griefing. He helped Irelia get first blood. That's not griefing. In spite of that early lead people chose to AFK anyway, so it was those players who were griefing. 6. "Someone else already stole this bread from the store, so I figured I'd keep it anyway after they got caught." Would that be justified? No, afk'ing isn't justified because someone else did it first. You know what would justify leaving the game? If a member of your family had a stroke and you had to get them to hospital. "He quit so now I wanna quit." That's just childish and selfish. 7. I don't treat anything like it comes from "god". But I do expect that all players should have to follow the same rules I have to follow, which you have to agree to follow before you can finish creating your account. NB3 afk'ing and not getting punished in spite of there being clear footage of him doing so shows Riot blatantly playing favourites. Again, if you had to take someone to hospital, or if you got sick and started puking, something like that would entirely justify going afk. "Someone else did it first" does not.

Its the same as when a certain Riot member who is no longer there told a certain group of the playerbase to kill themselves in a gross act of hypocrisy. Someone who Riot sided with did something against Riot's own rules (in this case NB3 raged, flamed and afk'd), and now much of the playerbase wants the double standard taken away and for Nightblue3 to be punished for breaking the rules of the game. Seems like Riot could easily stop the barrage of threads by just ending their hypocrisy on the situation and punishing NB3 for afk'ing. It wouldn't even need to be a perma ban or anything, honestly. If they even just chat banned his account (accounts actually, we all know he's got more than one) for a couple weeks I think this would calm down. But because they are treating him with kid gloves while punishing Nubrac (who this isn't about anymore so I wont talk about his punishment) it continues. Riot are doing this to their own boards by refusing to treat Nightblue3 the way they would 99% of the players for doing the exact same thing if they watched it first hand.
: Nightblue and Nubrac had the debate today on Discord
Seems like all NB3 does is talk a lot and really fast to not let Nubrac argue his position. AKA, he's not actually arguing from a strong position, he's just really wordy. If he was forced to pipe down and allow his opposition to argue their point he'd probably start crying.

Spirit Visage is built on so many different champions, even champions without built in sustain who wont be building any sustain items, because it is so cost effective. In fact, if the opponent has magic damage but not anything that is a damage over time style like {{champion:69}} or {{champion:268}} or {{champion:90}}, then its probably better if you need two MR items to get two {{item:3065}} than to get one and also get {{item:3194}}. : Do YOU support non-meta strategies?
The permission thing is bullshit. Nothing in the summoner's code during sign up says that you have to follow the meta, and if you did always have to follow the meta then every game would eventually be the exact same teams of 5 with the exact same pick/ban champions in the exact same lanes building the exact same items. If no one broke the meta ever, think about what would have never happened. Brand and Annie would be played only mid and never support. Taric + Sona bot would never have happened. Lulu would never have been played outside of the support role, Jax would never jungle, Nautilus bot lane wouldn't be played and, in all likelihood, Pyke as a champion wouldn't even exist since the concept of playing an AD assassin support would be just laughed at. Asking for permission from anyone on whether you can break the meta or not is bullshit. All that matters should be that you are actually trying to win. Yes, most of the time that means playing to the meta, since META stands for "most effective tactic available", however that shouldn't even be what we call it. It should be "most effect tactic known", since obviously nobody can actually just know if the current "meta" is actually better than anything else that can be played in the game. No one, not even the most hardcore Korean pros, play the tens of thousands of hours that would be needed to practice EVERY match-up from EVERY side involving EVERY build and leveling path with EVERY possible combination of runes over and over again to determine what is actually the objectively best way to play the game. Also, unless something is actually OP, then despite being meta it has a counter, and if everyone is playing what is meta and you play something that counters it, doesn't that make YOUR strategy the real most effective tactic? By any kind of logic, a meta in any game is either evolving or it is completely stagnant, and it only evolves if people try to find new solutions. And if it is meta because it doesn't have a counter then it is clearly overpowered or outright broken and Riot should nerf it. So fuck asking for permission. Break the meta, just actually try to win while you do it.

Because Armor Pen and Lethality items are too broadly useful, and more and more champions are getting True Damage. Conqueror happens to be taken more by AD champions than AP champions, and Black Cleaver to just too good an item in general, though to be fair it props up champions who without it are... lacking in other core item options.
: Is LoL really a team game?
It is a team game, but the fact that it is played over the internet instead of in person allows people to more easily dehumanize others, and allows players who are unsportsmanlike to more safely get away with their shit talk. In League, your team mate dies three times in a row in top, all you see is them dying. In Baseball, your pitcher gives up three home runs in a row, you can see him getting pissed off and frustrated more than anyone else on the team is, and therefore you know he is trying, and its just not working. In League, you call someone trash or tell them to kill themselves, all that person can do to retaliate is block you, mute you, ignore you, report you, or flame you back. In Hockey if you call someone trash or tell them to kill themselves, you might just get punched in the face. The lack of proximity makes it harder to empathize with another player, and easier to treat them poorly knowing that you are safe from potential confrontations. Basically, its the same problem that ANY online team game would have.

That's how most team games go. **Basketball:** one of your guys is absolute trash? Get ready for line drives to the batter's left at EVERY opportunity. **Hockey:** Your worst player will be a turn over machine... unless he's the goalie, then you're just totally fucked. **Dungeons & Dragons:** doesn't matter how well thought out your characters are if the Cleric doesn't prepare any healing. Or if the Wizard drops a fireball on the Fighter and kills him. Or if the Rogue decides to go on a solo mission... and they ALWAYS do... fucking Rogues man... **Counterstrike:** You know that one guy who throws the flashbangs and blinds HIS OWN TEAM? ... we all do. Its the nature of anything team based. Its a lot harder to be the best player and carry if the worst player who costs their team the game is also on your team.

Sion's Q is a huge offender of this, being about a Teemo larger on all sides than its visual indicator for seasons now, yet has never been fixed. Nothing like thinking you've totally sidestepped the big guy's Q only to get eviscerated.

Oh, I agree that they're unlikely to prefect hitboxes on any multiplayer game ever... maybe in a couple decades on singleplayer games. I'm just saying, I'd like to see it be attempted, instead of the Pyke hook in the OPs video.
NAFB (NA)
: Pyke Q hitbox is bugged (Same issue as Blitzcrank)
Honestly, the aim should be that if an ability LOOKS like it missed, then it will miss. We should be able to rely on visual feedback to know if we dodged something or not.
: Stop asking for a Aatrox revert.
For anyone who, for some reason, desperately wants to play OLD Aatrox when he was basically just a "right click and hope I have enough lifesteal to win" champion, I have good news: there is already a champion who you can play with that exact same playstyle! {{champion:23}} Go forth and right click, friends.
: Why do Keystones & Runes Need Damage? PLEASE EXPLAIN FOR ALL OF US. @Meddler @Riot Balance Team
Because Riot prefers to buff than to nerf these days, even though nerfing one thing that is OP is better than buffing EVERYTHING AROUND IT to level the playing field.
: RITO, shouldn't Tryndamere be part of the rework vote?
Oooh! Oooh! I made a comment about that in the thread that announced the vote, let me paste it here! "Can I go off the board and vote for Tryndamere instead? He's one of the most binary, stat-checky, one dimensional pieces of horse shit in the game and its about time something changed to where its not just a question of "How many stats do you have?" as to whether or not you can fight him."
: The vote for a 2020 VGU is up

You know why a lot of people find something fun? Because its easier to win with. What's more "fun" a gun to pick up in N64's Goldeneye: The Golden Gun or the Klobb? Which one is more fair if only one player can have it in a 1v1? Or if only one can team have it in a 2v2? The FUN of ONE player, is less important than the fun of their FIVE opponents.
: Riot's opinion on Riven's balance: Then vs Now
Yeah, new logo sucks. Also, remove {{item:3161}} ... it was a mistake, and the design team should feel bad for putting it into the game.
Quáx (NA)
: Riots new logo
Yeah... keep the old one. Maybe touch up the art style a tiny bit if you put it on a big screen or blow it up to a larger size. But that bottom option is basic AF. No thank you.
: Enable voice chat for those with high honor
I've seen plenty of people who get to 5 honor but are still scummy people to have to talk to. Bad idea.
: Vayne's ranked statistics are hysterical
Remove her W synergy with Guinsoo's double hit passive. Probably the bare minimum starting point imo.
