: Preseason 2020 Gameplay: Rise of the Elements
I legitimately really like these changes. However, with this theme of massive changes across the board, I feel like you all have missed a huge part of the game that needs some serious tweaking. Mage items are flat out immensely overpowered. A mage can have essentially 50% magic pen with 2 items, which effectively negates the use of magic resist all together. Spirit visage's 55 MR is effectively reduced to 27.5 against a mid game or even earlier mage once they buy void staff with sorcerer's shoes. This is a problem, as it is both not gold efficient to spend money on MR items at this point, and you may as well not even go through the trouble of spending your gold on them anymore, as the MR you get from them is half negated by mages with 2 items. This wouldn't be a problem if items like void staff were very situational, but they're not. Void staff is an essential item for pretty much every mage in the game, as it gives a hefty amount of AP along with 40% magic pen for 2650 gold. AD's equivalent at this time is Duskblade and Ghostblade, and even if you buy both, you only have 39 flat armor pen. Comparing this to a mages flat armor pen value + percentage 40% armor pen from void staff, mages effectively can ignore any and all MR you build whatsoever. While I think mage items are a massive problem all together due to their gold cost compared to AD items, the ridiculously inflated stats they give compared to AD items, and the essentially 0 counterbuild feasibility against them, simply nerfing magic pen across the board by itself could save top, AD mid laners, and bot lane a huge headache in the future. Thanks for reading.

Do anyone even know that this game exist? Because I didn't 😅 dwarf fortress is actually pretty popular around the cult hit gaming culture. if I'm correct OP, it's that game that's known to be extremely hard
It's not perse "hard", just very difficult to get into. It's a purist roguelike which means it has no mouse support, the interfaces are very difficult to navigate for a beginner, and the vanilla game only supports ASCII graphics. You however can get community made tilesets that give the game actual graphics to ease the difficulty curve.
