Like, seriously, until I have no more slots for items, I always make sure to buy control wards every time I back and I don't see a problem with the gold, as it gives me much more efficiency for it's price, and sometimes I even swap them instantly, like placing on in the Pixel bush then when ganking top, I drop one in that bush to see if it's warded or not. So no, wards aren't a big problem, you just need to make a habbit to use them, but them again, IF you are an adc who misses 2/3 of the cs, of course it's a problem in getting them, because you already have no gold.

I do know this all and I do buy a lot of control wards. I'm a supp main so vision is something I am quite familiar with. Also yes, Eve's charm shows direction but only when it finishes charging as you mentioned. Eve is less concern to me than Twitch tbh and I thought I made that clear enough in my post as I mainly talked about him being able to get up close and personal while invis despite his range and power. Eve at least has shorter range on her skills and does show up if she wanders too close. So idunno man .. no need for passive aggressive insults about my rank and such.

And she can do all of what the numerous champs you listed/compared can do equally, if not better, because she can SPAM THEM.

I understand that her power is her stealth... to a degree. Unlike twitch she usually charms you first so you know what's coming just not *where* until she decides to move in. Invisibility can be reworked into something else, or at least made less OP. Wards should be able to see them. Any wards. Visibility is a huge part of league so it kindof baffles me that a champion being inherently invisible is a-ok for this game. I mentioned to the other poster that a visibility item for SR similar to oracle's from ARAM would be fine. Something less stationary and with better usability than a single 75g ward that you have to plop in lane instead of a strategic jg location just because of these champions. The cost of control wards ramps up very quickly since you have to constantly put new ones as you move around the map.

Can't target him, can't last hit him because he will just meditate then run (or kill you), can't cc him when he is paired with certain champs... the only counter I ever see for him is harc CC. Well, that literally goes for every champion so something is very wrong with that being his **only** counter. He's too fast, too strong, has self heals, can't be targeted during strike, and can spam his abilities. He will solo baron + drakes in no time. He hurts after getting around 2 items. Then he just snowballs from there... idk. Low elo, high elo.., winrates, whatever.. the champ is overloaded. He isn't the only one like that either. Champs like him, yasuo, akali, etc need some serious toning down. Not sure why some champs get it all (cc, mobility, combos, no resources to manage, sustain, invulnerability) while others are squishy, immobile, and don't have self heals or shields.

tbh control wards should have their own slot separate from everything else. It's the only item I can think of that wouldn't be unfair to do this with aside from _maybe_ potions.

Well I feel like riot changed the game specifically for flashy plays and highlights, so those videos and 'pro play montages' or 'ONE SHOT _insert champ here_ IS 100% BROKEN" yt videos are pretty much what they are aiming for. It brings people in and has quick gratification for the player when they can stomp the enemy team regardless of skill level. All of my games have been either stomp or get stomped. Sometimes the stompee loses though because they spend time trolling and stuff instead of ending the game efficiently. Idk.... was talking to my friend about this yesterday. The game doesn't feel as rewarding as it used to towards skill and more-so towards building these insane AD items so you can plow through the entire enemy team. Some people complain about AP being busted but at least they have a mana pool to manage and are generally squishy and immobile. Zoe is pretty annoying with her constant summs/free item effects and huge damage + cc. Most of the AP items are expensive and they have cooldowns to deal damage instead of firing off a bajillion auto attacks a second. Plus some champs hurt like a bitch but are also extremely mobile/slippery (kayn, yi, yasuo, etc). Assassins like Pyke get easy pentas by cleaning up after a teamfight whether they were losing or not. Stuff like that ruins the game for me. I can't reliably counter these things since zhonyas cooldown is so long. No amount of running will keep a wall ghosting kayn off of me. :\ Turret plating gold, bounties, scuttle, rift herald... all these things result in the winning team snowballing even faster than before. It's no mistake that things are this way. I guess riot doesn't think that players have the attention span to play games without all of the handholding.

How can they truly balance lanes when players can pick literally whatever they want for any role? The only real way they can even begin to balance is to make up their minds on where champs belong and then limit the selection to the given role. You say botlane is fine ... pff. Yeah, okay. Katarina supp says hi. Rengar supp w/Ivern also says hi. Velkoz+Xerath chiming in. Ziggs+Jhin is also here. Double adc, double midlane mage pokers botlane, you name it. Even the Sona/Taric strat. Twice the craziness as toplane. We are also right next to drake that spawns often enough to warrant 4 man ganks botlane multiple times per game. They want to nerf champs to fit certain roles then they need to lock champs to certain roles and stop allowing the random picks that aren't balanced around 2 man lanes.

She used to be a battlemage {{champion:50}} {{champion:13}} {{champion:127}} was reworked to a support mage {{champion:61}} {{champion:99}} {{champion:25}} and since then treated like a support {{champion:117}} {{champion:267}} {{champion:40}} Depending on where you would put her here, we know which Karma you liked.
I mean they kinda did the same thing to Zyra. Shoved her out of midlane because her support potential was too high. Anyone can pick anything for support so it doesn't make sense to me why this mindset of reworking w/support in mind was adopted to begin with. Zyra is now listed only as a support champion and barely scrapes by in midlane. The shape of her Q was changed and her plants were dumbed down big time. At least Karma has a shield I guess. Zyra doesn't even have that much and is listed as 'support'.

I feel like invisible champs are a bigger problem. Twitch will destroy you before you even know where he is, and by nature he is bound to eventually get strong in a game regardless of how hard you beat him down. Eve, Teemo, Twitch, Rengar, Pyke, etc. Champs that you don't have great counterplay against aside from blowing a ton of gold on control wards that sit in one place with laughable detection range. Invis champs that 100-0 you need to be looked at. There needs to be more options for countering their safe engage that guarantees they get off more damage than you before you die. just my opinion though.
: If your doing a ranked draft... You shouldnt unless you have a go-to champ/knowledge of every lane, including jungle. Also, if you play one game out of position you cant be autofilled the next one or maybe even 2 games I dont remember which. I dont really pay attention since I dont mind if I get filled. Granted if I get auto filled to supp I might dodge because Im not relying on teamates for wins...
Oh sorry, I forgot to elaborate. It was norms draft and I had already played a few games as support and mid before randomly getting filled jg (getting mid a lot more lately which is understandable). Jungle was random as hell though and the game would have been lost if I stuck with it. I don't know about micro/macro or jungle rotations/setting up ganks. Also some supports can carry a game. Maybe they don't get a super high kill count but their vision placement (if thought out) and cc + utility usually prevent a lot of trouble or help push their team for good picks and snowballing safely. There are supports who can also do the damage needed to to carry but I understand why most people find it boring and unreliable to play a sidekick the whole game that is unlikely to get any recognition even with an amazing KDA + carry. I played Zyra yesterday Midlane and the Quinn ADC still talked to me like I was her support. lol. Her Brand wasn't bothering with sticking by her side or placing vision which almost cost us the game. I stepped up and warded as much as I could to ensure we wouldn't get picked off. Seems insignificant but it isn't at all. Dodging support is kinda different from dodging jg. Jungle is entirely unfamiliar from any laning phase, requires risky moves and being all over. You have to be there for smiting stuff and know what camps you can handle at what times. Their itemization differs too. Support is pretty boring until the game turns into an all mid brawl out. You don't CS and if you do your adc pings you like ???????? tf you doing? If you play something with heals you will hardly do damage unless you sacrifice utility for a couple thousand more damage dealt in the game. You're essentially just a CC or heals bot by that point. /shrug I still find those scenarios to be engaging regardless but you're right... it does suck losing and then being helpless at base because your build is full support with no damage. Being helpless and powerless isn't fun when your team goes down. Sorry for rambling btw!

They think they're supposed to sit untargetable the whole game and not contribute, but early on, Yuumi needs to be out and about helping her ADC match the enemy clear, poke the enemy to discourage a dive, and keeping her passive shield and mana up. Since she is so mobile and can choose to become untargetable, I really don't think she needs Flash. None of her abilities are impactful enough on their own to need to Flash into range for them, and if she needs to get out of a bad situation without an ally nearby, she's dead anyway. Ignite + Exhaust is the way to go. Try this: Stay outside your teammate most of the time in the laning phase, and only get inside them to avoid damage, heal them, or control your Q. Bait enemy skillshots by stepping up, then dashing back to your carry. That way, not everything is being directed at them. Yuumi has a weak early game, but her late game is pretty awesome, which is strange for a support.
I read somewhere else that you take heal/exhaust or heal/ignite and get your adc to take teleport/flash. seems like a decent strat.

: The queue is just there to prevent you from dodging constantly, and wasting people's time in lobby. Otherwise, what's the point of this current lane system if you can just dodge continuously? I dodge multiple times in ranked soloQ every day. It's better than playing a game you're likely to lose. 5 minutes of queue dodge timer isn't that bad anyway..
Your reply confuses me a little.. not sure if I am reading it right. The game gave me something outside of what I chose as primary/secondary roles instead of finding another queued player with that role selected. Why should I face a dodge timer when the game forces me into a random role I never signed up for?
: It might not be popular, but I actually am a fan of Pyke. I don't think he's a support so I play him top or jg as an assassin, which is the way he really should be played with his kit. The thought of him as support seems more of a joke than a reality, I mean if he's a support why not Pantheon? He has a stun! Is that the only actual pre-requisite for a support role?
I have seen him played in every lane, even jg. He works everywhere tbh. I think it just depends on who he is against and how well they know how to deal with him (this goes for any champ ofc). But it does seem like any champ with CC is viable as support if you are good with them. Have you ever played against an Ivern/Rengar botlane? Jhin/Ziggs as well was very difficult to play against. It's rough as a mana deprived champ that is meant to 'sustain' when your heal costs 100 mana and you can use it about 6 times before you run completely dry. To top it off you do no damage as compensation for your sustain so it's all on your ADC who is being focused right out of lane because he is the only real threat. This is why I don't understand the reasoning behind nerfing certain champs just to push them into a support role (Zyra for example). People will simply pick something else that isn't support related at all that gets the job done all the same.

Yeah this happens often and I'm not sure what to really think about it. The higher rank (usually 2-3 ranks above everyone else who is even ranked on your team) will flex MR emotes and stuff as well and then finish off the match by spamming their twitch stream. Makes them feel awesome to be in a premade in norms pubstomping the hell out of people several divisions lower than them I guess.

seems? she is outclassed. I notice that every game she is picked, the team with her loses botlane so hard there's no recovery. They get stomped even without jg intervention. edit: i also notice they don't ward. at all. Probably because people not primarily into support role are picking her just for fun and it leaves their team at a massive disadvantage.
: The story about Pyke that I heard: Riot's balance team asked a bunch of Bronze V (at the time) players what their ideal support would be. Naturally they went for full damage, stealth, stun, slow, and execute. As a result, Pyke came along. I actually like Pyke but he's far from a support, and its a joke that he's listed as such. God help us if they ask those same people what their ideal ADC is, but it'll make Vayne look like a lane minion...
You forgot to mention free extra gold and self heals + insane mobility. Seeing one champ execute 4-5 times in a LCS teamfight is jarring. I don't usually watch these things but yesterday I decided to watch a clip and man... execute one right after the other. Once your team is below a certain threshold of health you HAVE to retreat if their Pyke is up even if the enemy team isn't doing so hot and could normally be finished off. Pyke is straight-up busted. He does way too much and his kit is far too risk-free for such a high reward champ. The range on his execute is nuts. The instant R reset + gold and then dashing right out to safety is nuts. Being listed as a support doesn't matter. People can take any champ they want to as 'support'. It's literally that Pyke's kit is garbage for this game. We already have tower plating gold, scuttles, bounties, etc. Why do we need a champion that doubles the gold payout on a takedown? I don't get it. He isn't unkillable but damn he is annoying and very threatening in team fights to be so safe.

issue is that players can take whatever they want as 'support'. It's BS. You end up in games with a Draven and support Ziggs or a Xerath/Velkoz while there's no way in hell a traditional support can keep up with their aggressiveness during laning phase. What is the point of knocking midlane champs down with the nerf bat just to cram them in the supp role if people will just turn to Lux or Veigar or something? If they want support role to be taken seriously then they need to lock the champions people can choose to the role they pick. I feel like this may cause the game to grow repetitive and boring over time but at least they can actually balance accordingly without the "oops didn't think about a Katarina supp" problem that seems to persist in league.

Oh wow you have definitely put a ton of thought into what could make Zyra more enjoyable and coherent, even going as far as to rework her! It all looks awesome ♥ I was thinking too (and mentioned in my post) that it would be neat if Zyra slowly became enraged as enemies trampled her seeds or something. Similar to Shyvana building up her drago-meter. Zyra is a pretty chaotic character that wants to take over and I don't really see much of that in her current kit. She kinda falls flat and feels too squishy to be so weak and reliant on RNG and a rather terrible and avoidable root spell. I wonder if RIOT ever thinks of her?

Yeah I think people are confusing my 'underwhelming/conflicted' title with "she isn't successful at all" when in reality I am saying that she is underwhelming and conflicted because she is in a weird spot between roles with very little utility to consider her as a true support. She is underwhelming to play right now compared to other 'support' mages that are completely viable midlane as well--Midlaners/Supports than can truly carry a game from a safe distance without relying on RNG passive placements. Morgana has her shield, Lux has her shield, Neeko has an invis + clones + more controllable burst damage and can shapeshift to scare the enemy into thinking the jungler or something is there. Neeko's root also covers a wider area than Zyra's slow E, gaining more root time if certain conditions are met. Brand does a metric booty load of damage without any need for setting up the playing field and is very oppressive as well even in the midlane. Zyra can spawn plants that are easily one/two shot, has a delayed ult that enemies can run right through before it goes off, has a root that is very slow and narrow, and is extremely squishy along with her plants (even enraged). With Zyra you usually tend to hold onto your E as a disengage rather than an engage as it is your only means of survival but there are plenty of times as well where it's clear you will be using it to pick off someone in a teamfight if you are still alive. What I am getting at here is basically that she doesn't have the ability to buff herself or teammates so maybe she either should get that in some way or her damage needs to be looked at again. I'm not quite sure what the issue is with Zyra being midlane but if Riot doesn't see her there, that's fine. I am cool with that as long as she fits her new role in at least some way. A self buff/shield or an ally buff/shield or forego those and increase her plant effectiveness by a smidge. Someone else here said her plants are squishy because she has more range for setting them up as compared to Heim with his turrets. While I do see their point, I really don't think a plant should be one shot. It doesn't make sense that a plant can be killed with one melee attack before doing anything significant for so much effort and mana spent. You have to move yourself closer to the enemies which is already dangerous since you are practically paper, use a full combo, and then sit back and watch them attack.... minions. lol. The range on the melee plant is very low as well for the thing to just be one shot. Kinda sucks but hey, it is what it is. I just need to keep playing her and get better. She isn't completely useless even if she is in a weird spot.

For example in HoTS is champion Nova with permanent invisibility but also there are some mechanics in place to counter it like she is invisible and untargetable but still create shimmer effect and you can spot her and flash her out with aoe and also you can pick up "wards" as abillty to directly counter invisibility. In LoL you cannot actively fight against invisibility, you can only drop wards and hope enemy step on them before go invisible and outside lucky aoe there is nothing you can do :(
I feel like revealing them with wards --regular wards-- would be fair enough. You have to use a ward but it doesn't cost you 75g for a measly stationary 600 range 1 time use. Their invis is a little too much I feel. If only a 75g ward can reveal them in a small enough area for them to kill you anyway, what is the point? 600 range is nothing for a Rengar or a Twitch. They will burst you and then run you down while you are slowed if you aren't already dead. Zhonyas isn't an option either because they will simply wait it out and then kill you anyway. Champs like Twitch especially, after a few kills become a serious threat with so few items. He has a weak early game but most games drag on anyway to around 25-30mins in norms. It becomes a game of holding out hope that the enemy team makes a few huge mistakes or doesn't know how to end before we can slowly build up against them. We focus the problematic champs first and pray someone is alive by the end of it lol. It isn't impossible or anything but only if the enemy team throws the game. I like the oracle's extract in ARAM, for instance. If the invis enemy is within 500 range of _you_ they will be detected. If they want to fight anyway so be it but at least you have a moment to decide what you would like to do as well before 60%+ of your health is trashed. This seems like a fair item for SR as well because champs like teemo require a ton of sweeping and warding to clear up traps or even find them but the sweeper cd is long and he can toss them out seemingly indefinitely. He's already very strong with a decent build path but then you add in the shrooms as well and they HURT. It's insane. The things also take several hits to destroy which takes up a lot of sweeper time. Most games I see my top laner simply ignore the teemo because he is simultaneously slippery and painful to deal with. Same thing goes for any invisible traps. If I have to spend gold for a 5 min vision elixer to potentially save my life I would gladly do it. A bit off-topic but this also reminds me of Cait's bear traps that can't even be destroyed lol. Stuff like that bothers me because there is no counterplay aside from "don't step around there". bushes in lane are a large part of the field and there's nothing that you can do about her zoning them off entirely.

: Bronze matched against Diamond
I was in a draft game earlier against a premade enemy team with a Diamond IV player. They ran circles around us and the Diamond guy linked his stream at the end. I don't really understand why matchmaking would pit solo queue players 2-3 ranks under the star of the enemy team. They queued together as well so it was especially terrible. Having the twitch link at the end was frustrating as well because, great, now you know that some people out there are laughing at your team failing against an overstacked team and unfair matchmaking system. I felt really bad especially for the bronze and silver on my team. There was literally nothing we could do to win that game. Nothing. edit: some people don't want to play ranked and actually care about draft. I never understood the mentality behind "oh it's just norms" or the matchmaking not taking ranked MMR into account in norms or whatever. I don't understand the system that is in place and it seems very convoluted and flawed in my opinion. I either stomp or get stomped. Very rarely is there a game that the teams are semi-evenly matched in skill. Which is a bummer... because those are the best games. Those games are the most fun.
: Never going to happen, too much chance of screwing up matchmaking.

I am in awe and quite pleased with how far this skin differs from her original. LB has needed a quality skin, and with her burst in popularity as of late I think that there wouldn't have been a better time to show her some love. I hope Riot plans to create more skins that give a completely new look to the champions underneath like this while still fitting their personalities. The skin fits the Elderwood theme, though maybe not as haunting as some others under the same theme... a forest has its enchanted areas as well as its ominous, and I could definitely see how this LB skin fits the mirage-trickster character. She does have a vindictive look albeit the more illuminating and sultry allure of sparkles/charming hues. I believe that she is this way to snatch the attention of weary travelers, to which they soon realize just how far from harmless she truly deviates.
: champ select bug?
even before changing a spell sometimes I cannot even pick a champion and so I am penalized =.= the new champ select was so unnecessary anyways;; over the past year the game has taken a turn. Sometimes a good thing doesn't need fixing, devs.
