Riot only recently made it okay for teams to give players equity, and it's only allowed for players who have continuously been with the same org for 3+ years. Only Bjergsen, Sneaky, and Stixxay fall under that rule. Also, C9 was doing it way before it was allowed for players that aren't covered by the rule.

Understandable. I just don't enjoy ARURF because of my lack of ability to pick what goofy shit I want to try out. But as long as people enjoy the mode I hope it continues to come back periodically.

Nope. This would be a slippery slope of reports for anything semi-outside the meta in champion select as well as people threatening reports in draft to try and make people play how they want them to. Not down for this. Don't like that people are picking Senna all over the place? Ask nicely or stay away from ranked until things settle down. Otherwise you're just going to have to get over it.

Sven - Great move for EG, he's honestly played some of the best LoL of his career over the last year. C9 loses for sure in the short term, but if Blaber comes into his own then this can still be a great move for C9.
Zeyzal - A solid move from EG here, gives them a solid support with still more space to grow. This one may hurt C9 more than the Sven move because a replacement is less than guaranteed.
In the end, EG will still need to build a roster around these first two acquisitions that can succeed before this is a complete win. C9 has some work ahead of them to fill the shoes of two strong players, but they have a track record of being able to do exactly that. Either way, going to be very interesting to see how these two teams shake out over the next year.

Sounds fun but Riot has already come out and said that rolling out old patches is an absolute nightmare and nearly impossible to do so don't get your hopes up. But I definitely hope they go all out for the tenth anniversary and allow players many different ways to celebrate IN-GAME as opposed to just things like streams and videos. Go big Riot.

Everything you've said here just tells me you need to stop playing League. If everything is so infuriating and it's having such a negative effect on your life, then quit. I know it can be hard to walk away from a game like this but you have to do it. While I still don;t enjoy LoL as much as I used to or play it nearly as much as I did from 2012-2015, when I took a year off from the game I felt so much better when I came back. Now I shoutcast and enjoy the game way more than when I left. Also, I just highly recommend playing with friends more and avoiding ranked if you aren't doing these things already. League has never been more fun than when I'm playing with a full team of four buddies and myself.

So by your reckoning, picking a champ that isn't strictly a "support" is cheating? Thank god you don't make the rules of this game for Riot otherwise this game would've died years ago. Innovation has helped this game grow over the years. Picking different champs that can bring something new to a role like support isn't cheating. If it was cheating, why didn't you win with the Vel'Koz support?
In the end, wins or losses are based on the skill of the players using the champions, not the champions themselves. If it was based more on champions then the strongest champs in the meta would have 90%+ win rates and not be capped at like 56%. Skill determines wins, not champs. Off-meta or off-role picks aren't cheating, your just salty because you had a garbage support who picked a non-meta champ. Thank Riot for ignoring suggestions from players like yourself.

And he's making a point that your idea wouldn't allow things like Ziggs ADC for example, which was super broken.
Also another suggestion: maybe don't play your first ever Xayah game in ranked. Maybe we should ban people from doing that. Sounds like a much better idea tbh.

Not necessarily. It's all situational. Blitz has his own weaknesses and so does Vel. League isn't as simple as "this champ was made to be a support originally, so he must be a better support than champs that weren't built for the role." It isn't that black & white. Sion has the highest support win rate right now, and he wasn't built to be a support.

Ekko. Started a mid laner, patches made him strong in jungle. Then his numbers were changed again and became a great tanky top laner. Now he's back to his mid lane assassin ways. Your idea would stunt innovation in the meta.
And Vel'Koz can be a great support btw, the player has to know what they're doing with the champion though.
