: The fact that you say in your post that the ability to reduce allied basic ability cooldowns is incredibly powerful would mean that this hypothetical champion would have to have very little else to offer in their kit to balance that out. Though who knows with the more recent champs Riot has been releasing having almost everything but the kitchen sink in their kits.
Keep in mind that it doesn't reduce the cooldowns of ultimates, and this "Nano Boost" ultimate could have its own long cooldown even with CDR. Or it could have a short duration, or require a short channel, or whatnot. There's plenty of ways to give it some drawbacks.
: {{champion:26}} ? Except that he can only target himself with the CD reduction?
As you said, he can only target himself with it, so it doesn't count.

: Why do you think that?
Because triggering the execute should require some kind of real combat actions, not just laying down a trap and getting lucky while you're across the map.
: I neither agree nor disagree, but I feel like limiting certain champions and allowing others is just not a good idea. A big part of these champion's kits are their global abilities. A champion that needs to get close to you will just be straight up better with the elder dragon than champions with global/long range abilities.
Then at the very least, it needs to not work with things like Teemo shrooms or Nidalee traps unless the aforementioned Champions are within a sufficient range of the target.
: I was thinking closer to 4000 range (which means Cait R is still effective, even if opponent walks away some). 3000 would probably work too, though. Yeah, it'd require testing and seeing what range works best.
Hmm, maybe 5000 range then? That's still not cross-map capable, but encompasses things like {{champion:51}} {{champion:115}} etc.
: I think that'd probably be fair to stop global attacks from executing. Especially ones like Nidalee's traps, which aren't generally meant for damage. It'd also make more sense in terms of being something for closing out games (what Riot wants), instead of stalling by picking off some random low-health champions. What kind of range are you thinking?
Not sure what'd be best. 3000-ish distance? That's about the range of a Lux laser, IIRC. Long enough that it doesn't make it totally ineffective on Champions like {{champion:115}} {{champion:101}} {{champion:99}} , but enough that you can't instakill someone who is on the opposite side of the map. Riot should probably test to see what range would be most appropriate.

This allows players an opportunity to catch her out of it with a pick, or bait her into using it at a bad time and then capitalizing when it's down. I imagine pros will say that's impractical, though. It would be perfectly balanced as a dragon form only passive. It doesn't even have to be immunity per se, it could easily be a huge Tenacity buff or a spell shield of some kind.
I think Riot would go for a high Tenacity effect rather than complete CC immunity to avoid niche-crowding Olaf.

: As awesome as it is to hear about this (love HotS but still pissed at Blizzard), I don't really think this could work for League. HotS is a very specific MOBA that focuses on teamwork from the very beginning of the match and Deathwing is kind of an exception to being this super powerful SOLO character against the enemy but can't really benefit from the rest of the team. In League, that would mean, in the case of picking Shyvana for example, she would just be extremely powerful in lane and possibly as a jungler. Her being immune to CC would probably cost a lot of her power budget as well, if we're still counting that, and so the rest of her kit is mediocre. Not to mention that League in most normal play is all about players fending for themselves, so there isn't really that much teamwork involved to begin with. There isn't really a payoff of making a character this powerful when the game isn't fully focused around working as a team a vast majority of the time.
On Shyvana, I'd only have the CC immunity on her dragon form. This allows players an opportunity to catch her out of it with a pick, or bait her into using it at a bad time and then capitalizing when it's down. I imagine pros will say that's impractical, though.

: I don't think they ever said the upcoming series is based on Vi and Jinx. They just kinda showed jinx feet at the end of the trailer. The show as a far as I know is suppose to be sorta like a prequel to the lore of league of legends
: I'd love that direction with with. Maybe she could be second in command? That way she can focus on helping everyone while also doing her own thing if needed.
If we go by that design, the first-in-command has to be {{champion:89}} .

My mindset was of him keeping dragon "trophies" such as their scales being used for his armor, and his axes being made out of their teeth, and his helmet being made up of horns like how Rengar keeps his prey's teeth as a necklace. , while still having the metal armor. I think the glowing green eyes adds some of his nature thus being the essence of killing a green dragon, and you know how Thor in Ragnorok finds his true potential, having glowing blue eyes from the lightning. > > Is there a possibility this could be put in? Sadly these forums are just for fun, and Riot can't solicit or accept any fan-made concepts whatsoever. It's still a neat idea, though!

Yeah, but wild-wild-west Ashe sure feels like a jab at Overwatch.

Yeah, but the same thing happened for Ashe.

: To be fair, Yasuo's shield involves pretty much no gameplay. There's almost no point where someone's standing still. There are a lot of passives that involve no gameplay and invisible power.
Yeah, but Mundo's is easily the worst. He just gets free health regen based on his maximum health. There's nothing to play around. With Yasuo, you can poke him with an auto to take it down and then hit him with abilities once it's recharging.

I like how this ended, with Lux officially ditching Demacia to help out mage refugees. Now we need a comic that shows how she becomes an Elementalist. {{sticker:slayer-jinx-wink}}

: [Spoilers] Lux: Issue Nr. 4 - Feedback, Discussion and Questions
Who here wants to bet that Lux drinking a Petricite potion won't actually stop Sylas from stealing her magic? He'll probably still be able to, albeit with slightly more difficulty, and in doing so will rat Lux out as a mage in front of Garen. Given that she shot him and stabbed his foot, he has no reason to let her keep her secret, and stealing Lux's magic would be far more convincing than his words (which Garen would call a lie).
: Does she really know how to use her powers though? It seems like they’d be more useful to Sylas than to her.
I suspect that the Petricite potion won't actually stop Sylas from stealing her magic. He'll probably do this during his Round 2 with Garen, proving that Lux is a mage.
: I thought she used it so that Sylas couldn’t take her magic again?
Yeah, but that was a dumb move on her part. She'd still stand a better chance against him while having her powers.
