Average game length in season one was 38 minutes while now it is 30. It would take 20 minutes for someone to complete an item because far more people where bad at the game. People could not cs as well or play in leads correctly. Nowawdays you have people who have played thousands of games of league and through that experienced just about every conceivable situation so they understand how to react allowing them to finish games far more effectively.

Ya,i kinda feared this was going to be a problem when they started to push for a faster games a while back. as the game and a lot of the old champs/items,ect. where designed around a slower gold,exp,items. and to have champion power spikes at different points(early,mid,late) in the game. it was also meant to have things like early game champs fall off late game.but between the faster game pace and the power/snowball from objectives that dont really happen anymore. also how riot has been handling things like mobility and cc in the game have been messing things up quite a bit. riot has been phasing out point a click abiltys/cc, yes they are powerful. but if your going to add so much mobility to the game then you need to have ways to reliably counter it and point and click stuff helps a lot in that area. also of note is cc. knockups for example kinda invalidate things like tenacity,quicksilver,Cleanse. so knockups/displacments should of been much more of a rare thing for the sake of having more counter play options. i really feel the current riot balance team lacks the basic understanding of **champion power budget. ** if a champ has powerful things in the kit like for example...mobility it should have some sort of draw back like less burst or scaling then the non mobile counterparts. also things like overloaded champ kits just because it has a slightly higher skill cap/learning curve, is not good. riot has clearly taken this concept way to far. and should tone down the power difference between complex vs simple kits to a more reasonable level. this game as of late really makes me miss things like old taric/sion or items like old Guardian Angel/Banshee's Veil quite a bit.

i can almost imagine it now. shity skynet bots invade rift, players rage over bot inting. accounts are banned and replaced by even more bots so the banned players can buy lvled accounts to to replace their banned accounts. new players never properly learn the game due to only ever playing bots. more raging and inting reports and even more banned accounts..and the vicious cycle continues until only the skynet bots remain.. the future will be grim.

there is exactly only two things that riot has done in the last 7- 8 years that i actually liked 100%. 1.the hextech items. riot should add more nich active items. instead of removing them(banner, zz'rot. rip) 2.and the rotation game modes.(now long gone) a close 3rd for me is that i liked sions rework but i hate the fact the old sion got deleted...

: This finals was an amalgamation of everything that's wrong with season 9.
for years now i have felt riot has been much too heavy handed in how they enforced the meta. often times the balance changes feel very biased. the power of early game objectives and snowballing. the obvious favoritism to certain champs/early game/mobile champs. the outright ignoring of problem champs. the buffs to champs before new skins. and quick nerfs to less popular champs or champs that are not riot favorites, when they see the slightest success even when its not necessary op, maybe just unconventional. riot has forced a very quick meta that requires very sharp play early game or you get stomped due to the snowball..this is very anti fun and takes away a lot of the player choices. its almost to a point that if you dont pick,play,do and build the way that riot wants you too then its basically a very quick and forced loss.

How is blaming an entire section of the playerbase have anything to do with discussing the state of the game? So you can blame them more for it? i love having niche items even if they are badish and off meta builds in the games. sadly riot insta nerfs any off meta that gets even remotely good and has been phasing out off meta stuff and out right removing niche items over the years. riot loves forcing people to only do streamline builds. just like how the love to force interaction for objectives. or how they like make changes to force certain metas.... its feels like i get very little choice on how i get to play the game nowadays and its just basicly riot making all the choices for me by making the game pick this,buy that,go there. or auto lose game in 10-20 min.

i kinda also felt that flash should just be given default and not on summoner slot as it is basicly core to the game now.. so that the summoner slot could be opened up for other skills. maybe even they should design some new summoner skills as that is an aspect of the game that has got very little attention over the years other then things just being removed.. adding some new summoners could be rather interesting.

i cant be the only person that is seeing all this shit. people we really need to speak up if we want urf to go back to the way it was. maybe riot will notice. and do something about the objectives and snowball so we can get the mode as it was before all the snowball mechanics were added. i mean this is just not an exclusive problem in urf....its in the normal games as well..though at a much lesser extent.but if you ever take the time to time to think about league of legends over the years and ALL the changes they have done.that lead to this point.damage/snowball meta. the problem of the game becomes pretty clear.

PER dragon is a lot of power to be given free at the 10 min mark of the game. add baron on top of that then its pretty ridiculous. the objectives are turning 100% the games in to 10 min laning phase followed by a stomp and forced end at 20 or ff after dragon goes down. this is anti fun when the game is so heavily dictated from one objective at the 10 min mark. and this makes the mode a far cry of what urf used to be when they first released it. when you consider before elder was added to urf there was at least a chance for some of the games to make it past 30 min and to have to have some back and fourth fights on longer games. those were always the more fun games at least for me even if i lost.. the dragon and turrent plate is also warping the picks massively and limiting them a lot. as you need to pick strong laners so you can contest dragon get plates..people would be more willing to pick more weak lane champs/for fun picks. if the mode was a little longer or if they dident have to worry about contesting objectives or getting stomped so hard immediately once the other team gets an elder. the pick warping from the short forced snowball games due to objectives is causing a lot people to complain...but most people ever acknowledge/realize that the objectives are making the mode way worse. the sad thing is riot may even use these complaints as a reason to only do arurf from now on or worse not bring it back at all..rather then just remove the the snowballing from the objectives. in the PBE people were telling riot that elder dragon was a problem and was anti fun and the games were snowballing to hard..so i am not even sure why that was never addressed. the forced objective interactions over op objective is also encouraging people to more competitive rather then to just have fun.that is not something you want for game mode that are just meant to be fun.. there is also the problem that since the mode is call ultra rapid fire people are under the impression all the game should be super short and decisive. however i believe that the mode would benefit a lot more fun wise if the games were less decisive/snowball and aimed for the 30-40 min range and to be a bit harder to close rather then 10-20min. this could be done pretty simply by slowing gold maybe exp, removing or just delaying the snow ball objetives, and urfing up the towers(attack hp ect..) till it hits a later point in the game.THEN make the objective matter a bit more. so the game dont stall out after the 30-40 min mark. but most would probably disagree since people think it need to be fast... even though earlier versions were a lot slower then it is now..

PER dragon is a lot of power to be given free at the 10 min mark of the game. add baron on top of that then its pretty ridiculous. the objectives are turning 100% the games in to 10 min laning phase followed by a stomp and forced end at 20 or ff after dragon goes down. this is anti fun when the game is so heavily dictated from one objective at the 10 min mark. and this makes the mode a far cry of what urf used to be when they first released it. when you consider before elder was added to urf there was at least a chance for some of the games to make it past 30 min and to have to have some back and fourth fights on longer games. those were always the more fun games at least for me even if i lost.. the dragon is also warping the picks massively and limiting them a lot. as you need to pick strong laners so you can contest dragon when it comes up..people would be more willing to pick more weak lane champs/for fun picks. if the mode was a little longer or if they dident have to worry about contesting dragon or getting stomped so hard immediately once the other team gets an elder. the pick warping from the short forced snowball games and dragon is causing a lot people to complain about urf vs arurf. which riot will use that to only do arurf from now on or worse not bring it back at all.. **in the PBE people were telling riot that elder dragon was a problem and was anti fun and snowballing the games to hard..riot knew this but did not care.** the forced objective interactions over op objective is basically encouraging people to more competitive/aka tryhards rather then to just have fun.

i am not a fan of the changes on urf. i really hate the urf elder dragon they added. but outside of a very few far outliers of the weaker champs/items.they should of left it alone. the plus 10%, minus 10% shit is lame. and it semi hidden stat changes is a never good thing. i think balancing a mode that is meant to be broken is counter to the point of the mode..
: I would go so far as to say just get rid of ALL objectives for urf. No turret plating, no baron, no elder.

A {{champion:105}} dealing 3/4 my hp with a single Q on a 2 second cd, is going to win dragon or no dragon.
