It sucks that violence is the outcome as I don't wish that upon anyone, but none of this is just "oops, you were gay so shit happens." There's always two sides. Where is the evidence for this? I'd like to see the statistics on violence of the LGBT community brought upon by the members of the LGBT's misconduct. I know there's a few outliers like a few LGBT members acting out in public, but I really doubt that this is the main reason why they are attacked more often than other groups. This just seems like an attempt to rationalize bigotry and brutality. Homophobia is pretty common here in the bits of rural America outside of the big cities. I think you're really just underplaying the statistics surrounding murders/assaults, and more importantly that homophobia is still a very big thing in most places of America, particularly where I am which is part of the Bible belt.

The genre just needs to die so that it can come back stronger. I mean I love the gameplay of a MOBA, but maybe instead of shitty monetization f2p p2w schemes that lock champions and at one point runes behind paywalls/huge grindwalls we could just pay a box price instead I mean Dota 2 is slightly less scummy in that at least we get all the heroes for free and there's no shitty leveling system that gates runes or whatever, but being bombarded with about fifty million paid features like battle tower levels, betting, and whatnot is obnoxious as hell.

Yes, varus cant invis/ms away but he can hit a chain of corruption and be safe. and at that point prob turn things. But she has all the tools to escape an ADC could ever ask for if she gets into a sticky situation. On top of that, a shield to boot. Varus can't survive being jumped on even with a chain of corruption. Chain of Corruption is a teamfight initiation style ability. Ashe's arrow isn't an escape tool for that reason too. He's totally reliant on having his team peel. He's not nearly the type of 1v9 champion that Kaisa can be due to the limitations of his kit and Kaisa's champino design overall. There's not really much of a tradeoff. Her lower range doesn't mean much here when she can dash in and out no problem. Not many ADCs outside of maybe Vayne can say that.
: Riven just feels like she can get 2 kills at lvl 3 and completely out scale everyone.
Yeah you can beat her, but she's a disgusting champion whether she's balanced, meta, or not. She was disgusting when she first came out and the reason why League is filled with overloaded kits is because the devs wanted to capture lightning twice, thrice, and then some. It doesn't help that she's a premier skin seller and her fanbase is so rabid that Riot refuses to nerf her or rework her in any meaningful way.

I'm not cool with .001% of the playerbase deciding the meta for us because guess what? Pro play meta and soloqueue play meta are vastly different. You could never get the same level of coordination in a soloqueue game. Balancing champions around how well they work in a coordinated setting ruins champion viability outside of that sphere where as if we were to balance around soloqueue, the pros will still manage to find champions that fit their needs. The pros will find new champions to play if certain champions get buffed or nerfed according to our needs. Meanwhile champion playerbases will dwindle and suffer if certain champions gets beaten to death with the nerf stick because they worked too well in coordinated play. I think if anything, it might spice up the picks in pro play to balance around soloqueue. Riot won't be so focused on bringing this champion or that champion back into the meta. Riot has been trying to play God for so long trying to figure out new ways to get certain champions back into the spotlight. I just think it's tasteless and it ruins the game for most of us when we're stuck with this champion that is a complete pubstomper in every game.

I'm not asking for welfare, I'm asking that Riot actually try to keep their fanbase. It just seems in poor taste to finally rework death recaps after an entire decade just to sell these things. Buying them individually for each champion just seems like a complete joke. On top of that, once Riot got all the backlash they just decided that they'd make tiers to it so that there would be a cheaper option and a more expensive one. A little bit of goodwill from Riot would go a long way right now, especially given that they've been getting flak for all types of things such as removing game modes, prestige skins, bad ranked matchmaking, and poor gameplay balancing. : Posting about balance issues won't change a thing
Riot August already admitted that they don't care about the boards because they're "big meanies". AKA this board keep it real and say what its gotta say. Truth is, Riot does not like hearing criticism, whether it's constructive or not. The moderators and Rioters browsing here are pretty much banished into the phantom zone, probably as a form of corporate hazing or punishment. They're entire job is to have a presence, give us their thoughts every once in a while, and punish those who get a little too unruly. This isn't their perfectly maintained official Reddit page where you can only say nice things about the company and talk about how cool E-sports is. People of the forums aren't a hivemind and I think that's what scares Riot. They designed these forums to be their official Reddit-like forum and they abandoned it because people are critical here. I'm not saying that this board knows how to balance champions or anything like that, but at the very least Riot could put an ear to the ground. Maybe they should honestly take a look at a certain champion if it continually shows up as a thread topic over and over again. They don't have to rush to fix it right away, but at the very least, the bare minimum if you will, just give it some thought and bring it up in a balance discussion. Maybe give some feedback here if it continues to persist like a quick little "We are looking into this". Or they can continue to ignore the forums because it's easy to write off the boards as being useless, mean, or they don't know what they're talking about. Because that's just honestly less effort on their part. They can keep this place running with a few moderators while their efforts can be spent talking to Reddit or something about how awesome e-sports is, or their favorite skins, cute little legends, really anything but actual gameplay and balance.

IMO Riot genuinely doesn't understand the genre. TFT definitely feels like a rushed product, with how many countless bugs there are. Item stacking is just too good and it doesn't make sense to leave item droprates to RNG. It's definitely fun but it's not balanced properly. Granted, this is a just a gambling simulator, but when you're also monetizing it with things like lootboxes, it's just disgusting. I cannot endorse the product until Riot readjusts their monetization and balance philoophy of the game mode. C- for the gameplay. F- See Me After Class for the gacha crap.

: "Really, Riot?" No, it's the players' fault.
If a champion is cool looking, people would want to play them. The problem is that Riot hyperfocuses on their favorites and even balances the meta around them so that they can sell more and more skins. Meanwhile you have champions with like two skins and people justify it because "it's just how the economy works supply and demand" when they fail to realize that these champions have been outright neglected for years and years. It's only when they get their reworks where they're finally able to be played again when Riot decides to make a few skins.

The problem is that "high skill champions" are naturally just on paper better overall compared to "low skill champions". That's why people play them to begin with . They want the best champions, the champions that can do the most, and "outplay" their opponents harder. There's a certain level of prestige that comes with maining a high skill champion. Hence why people watch someone like Faker or maybe Yassuo. There's an inherent bias towards high skill champs and Riot just capitalizes on it. They want "skill expression" (which is a BS term) over anything else. People don't want to see something like a Garen 1v2 outplay because people are like "Garen outplay LUL braindead champ xDD". But if it was a Yasuo or Riven people will lose their shizz and try to emulate it in their games.
