yeah and their kits synergize with each other too! ivern puts down bushes that give rengar more jumps so rly it could be open to multiple strats like the offense-defense strat u said or funnel or just gank roaming i feel like something similar could be achieved with nunu kindred

aphelios can put skill points into his ad, so every amount of lifesteal counts for more and on top of that, severum is guaranteed as one of his first guns so he for sure is going to have it in early laning where you would want sustain the most

: i have 3 problems, but they're mostly my opinion anyways so please dont take it too serious. 1: if yi moved his alpha into his ult, it'd have to do some SERIOUS damage that would 1 shot most squishies, especially when the cd is 25 seconds, which again will offset the balance. 2: yi cant be an auto attack champ if he doesnt have built in attack speed and something that applies to his atk spd like wuju style. 3: yi has no natural tank, how is he going to dive in and out without meditate's Dmg Reduction. he has no disengage if his alpha is in a long cooldown, and meditate can get interrupted by any damage. P.S: you're trying to make him assassin. if he Ults, then backs off, meditate, and ults again, he can easily invade bot since it prioritized champs.
i'm going to try to address all of your issues 1. the 25 second cd is just for level 1. i was thinking it should scale down to 18 seconds at level 16 but that's just what i propose. and on top of that, auto attacks reduce the cooldown by one second. 2. i think he can still be an auto champ without it. wuju style is nothing but an on-switch damage buff that doesn't provide much variety in terms of yi's play. i think if he still had double strike in his kit, he would do well for his on hit builds. that's also why i propose that alpha strike should do on hit effects at every target it hits. because this incentivizes master yi players to buy a hydra item. 3. you're right, yi doesn't have a natural tanking ability. but having meditate do the tanking for him is unhealthy (for lack of a better word) and boring if i'm being honest. like yes i would prefer if he fit the skirmisher role like the fioras and yasuos of the world. but even those champs have skill-shot defensive skills. i feel like yi already has enough defensive capability with his alpha strike, and i think the rest of his kit just needs to be optimized around it. i mean how much more satisfying is it to alpha out of something rather than just reduce its dmg with meditate. if he needs an actual defensive skill other than the untargetability of alpha strike, i don't think so. and just to better address the assassin thing, i feel like he already is an assassin. his ult resets his abilities for every takedown. so for how he is currently, it's not so much about going in, picking someone off, then peacing out like most assassins do. he has to go in, pick someone off, then go to the next target. and that's a problem. he's one dimensional. other assassins, and even the skirmishers have really good means for escaping.

i agree w you, i think they need to keep doing nexus blitz to actually establish it as a core part of league. also i've always seen that game mode to be parallel to dawngate, which riot should definitely take notes from.

this is actually a very good pt. the fact that range champs make the most use of it takes away from the pickpocket fantasy from the rune

because i like those things about ezreal. this is just my opinion. i understand that the double tear build was overpowered, but it doesn't stem from an abuse of mechanics, it really was just the numbers.

: Any solution that doesn't nerf either of the items would be convoluted. Really the only thing I can think of would be making the second tear cancel the mana the first one gives, or the second one stacks without giving mana. That way you get both Awes but not the massive mana pool both would make. But thats a lot of programming for one champs build. Plus no one is supposed to have two tear items, Riot just hasn't had a reason to make them exclusive before...
hoooo boy do i have a list for you a list of things riot could've done instead of keeping you from buying two tears of the goddess so im going to repeat the list and try to explain what each change can achieve 1. add serrated dirk to the manamune recipe and increasing the combine cost = having innate lethality in manamune would diversify the champion pool who would look to buy the item eg jayce, varus,... maybe yorick and urgot again who knows 2. taking away seraph embraces' shield and giving it a different mechanic = with the double tear build, ezreal has the luxury of getting the bonus mana from archangels staff and the defensive capabilities of the evolved form. if the effects where changed to benefit either offense or utility, that's less defense ezreal has AND a less niche item for mana hungry mages like ryze, karthus, and cassiopeia 3. making iceborn gauntlet melee only = i feel like a lot of people who've been building the blue items since it was made might disagree with this one since it's the main reason for going for the blue build. but iceborn gives 500 mana. that's double the amount of mana that trinity and lich bane gives. all that mana being pumped into offense for the tear items is part of what makes it so strong. and on top of that, it guarantees a slow everytime ezreal lands a q. AND ON TOP OF THAT it is double safe because it gives 65 armor. what other adc builds a tank item 2nd and gets innate synergy from it? it doesn't make any sense. 4. giving seraphs an awe passive so theres less synergy = so when i made the original post, i actually meant shock. like you give seraphs a shock passive instead of mana shield or whatever. so that way there's just that much less benefit from having the 2 tear items together. 5. increasing the evolve time for either tear item = self explanatory, you delay one or both. you delay the power growth 6. lowering the awe numbers in muramana = again, i meant shock, but yeah literally just numbers tweaks you know? lower the items' ratios and also this isn't the first time in league a champ stacked 2 tears. they pretty much just nerfed it when ryze was building 2.

: As fun as it is, no one else suffers. Except the griefers {{item:3070}} {{item:3070}} {{item:3070}} {{item:3070}} {{item:3070}} {{item:3070}} Its just a broken synergy when its viable, SOOO many stats. So instead of hurting either item (and the champs that use them) separately they jsut make it impossible. Really its one of the best decisions they've made in awhile Although they STILL need to make IBG melee only
yeah youre right about the griefers ngl im just saying instead of removing the build altogether, why not nerf it first? they waited an entire season to do anything about it and now they just completely remove it... like whyyy?? did people stop buying pfe after 9.4 or what lol

Your uncapped CDR would be the attack speed probably at a 1:1 ratio. So if you itemized for 100% CDR... youd get 60% attack speed from transcendence, instead of AD when you pop your ult. Personally id really like that, because we need LESS sources of AD in the runes. Most builds would probably cap out at 20% attack speed, which makes the biggest draw of the rune the cooldown reduction on hit.

yeah i see what you're saying. a lot of people are frustrated with it. that's why i thought this might be a good way to deal with it?? because riot didn't like it as essence flare, so they moved it into a bruiser item. which is so blatantly abuse-able by SSJ champs like jax, renek, and riven. at least if you put it in a rune, it would be filling a niche. instead of being a requirement. and even then, you would still have to cap out your cdr before you saw the effects of it.
