I do think the rework was a success. Most of us Kat mains was really mad about ward hope removal but ot was a design choice to give her the Shunpo resets. Most competent people avoid standing near daggers to avoid the passive damage and some even position them selves in such a way that daggers dont land predictably and then dash in another direction. Iv noticed my self miss playing on a lot of situations with split thinking decision and daggers landing in off spots. Back on the rework aspect. They wanted to keep her over all feel and core game play bit aimed to make her more skill expressive but not over loaded. I think they succeeded in that regard. I remember when she was reworked and even after 4 kills she still wouldnt get her ulti back, which they fixed that same week. She does her job well in the right hands she is gated by her build aka hybrid. Imagine if she could.build full AP and have the ratios to support it she would be an insane nightmare. Riot has always had an issue with balancing reset champions and I think kat is as good of an example as it can get without making her useless or too good. Riot is to scared to touch her numbers in fear of finding them selves in another iralia pr akali or even ryze kind of state. Over all I think shes fine she does have ear weaknesses. CC tanks and she cant split push to take towers very well and does crap damage to dragon and baron even if shes fed. Her job is to count abilities go in when she can get a reset and clean house. That's basically her only job, she still needs a team to help end the game especially at high elo.

I personally don't think it's possible to avoid her damage unless the person playing against you plays Kat as well, enough to the point where they know her inside and out. She can very much adapt her approach to situations to kill her opponents no matter what they do, it's just all on the Kat player to identify their opponent's reaction(s).

: Ok as someone who has mained kata for seasons on end this was the biggest issue from last reworked kata and why they had to rework her. Her E,W combo when fed was insane she was legit whipping teams with just E,W all day long and it was insanely fast. Also old kat had really shit laning and wave clear vs like say a zed who can legit farm from miles away. Her safety net was shunpo to ward after walking into melee range to Q W wave. It was really sketchy and messy and once junglers got around this kata was an easy stomp. So this new kata aka current rework hit it slowed down her damage and made her more predictable aka daggers on ground. Her damage wasn't instant like previous E into W. In turn the dagger on ground mechanic was nice to give her a reduced cool down on E not even a complete reset even at max rank there is still windows to cc and stop her. So what this new kata aimed to solve was her crap laning phase and reduce some of her keyboard face roll with a 2 button smash, which i think it did pretty well. The rework wasn't put in to making her worst but making her better with new mechanics and a more skill expressed play style. Honestly its probably one of the best reworks riot has done to a champion. She still has the same weakness's as before aka tanks and CC and shes the only assassin that is an all in champion with no type of cc what so ever. Just my thoughts as a kata main. Take it for what you will and feel free to look me up you will see i played and mained her since season 1. Her not having mana has never been a problem since she is almost entirely melee besides her Q.

If you're good with Kat the only counterplay to her is untargetability or being in a 1v9 game. But you are right, terrible and average Kats are easy to tell apart from Kats that actually know what they're doing.

Any Fiora buffs are incredibly silly when her current kit can only be balanced to one side or the other. She doesn't have a single weak phase in the game, she's just strong throughout the course of the entire game unless she hard feeds. As for your remark about her being comparable to Nasus...no, just no. With Hydra she has monstrous waveclear, and even before her buffs she was an absolute unit at taking down towers. These two traits made her one of the single best splitpushers in the game, along with the fact that she's incredibly good at mitigating damage through usage of her W, mobility and healing. He kills well over one person when he's even semi-fed. Just watch LL Stylish or any other above average Zed player and you'll see this with your own two eyes. His purpose is to be an assassin who picks off a key target and then gets out through deception, hence why he can swap TWO TIMES before, during or after his assassination (attempt). "Then why the 1 second self stun?" HE GOES UNTARGETABLE! "Why the 3 second delay on the pop?" Because it does a ludicrous amount of damage. "To be safe? then why the 22 second cd the basic dash? Etc. That's early game, and that's because it's the only thing which gates him from spamming his full rotation from an extremely safe distance unlike other assassins. It's not a basic dash either, he can CHOOSE to swap to it, and it's that freedom of choice that makes it such a powerful gapcloser as supposed to other assassins' gapclosers.

If you want to nerf fiora, go after her insane free mobility, her healing and her damage. NOT her defensive ability. Her defensive ability is already pathetic enough as it is for a melee champion. Also, fiora counters most of the top meta champions, such as jax, kennen, mordekaiser,riven. This is just simply not true, her W is actually what makes her such a problem both in professional play and solo queue. Her insane mobility on top of her W is what tips her over the edge. She's the queen of soaking up a large amount of damage, then moving around the fight and turning the tables to favour her through usage of her passive+ult. Nerf both fronts tbh. But at the very least get rid of the feature which is just an added bonus, being her attack speed slow on W.

All hook hitboxes are bullshit. Lollipopping is the single worst "mechanic" (and I use this term loosely as it's so rubbish) to exist in the game. Thresh's is even worse, but for differing reasons. Nautilus' hook hits you when you're alone no matter what, meanwhile Thresh's hook legitimately curves in its hitbox, thus meaning it has a larger hitbox against champions than minions, allowing him to hook you "through" creep waves. tl;dr Hook champions are stupid and lollipopping 100% has to go.

I still watch the sports during group stages though...and League is a game which is apparently "growing" in numbers, thereby, more people should be watching on average than previous seasons.

Are you saying statistics aren't concrete information O. o I can clearly see the ~75k people watching on Twitch, compared to the ~82k (from memory) from last year. If I am wrong I'm willing to be the bigger man and admit it, however I well and truly doubt I am.

The AS and MS slow is to make it not useless if your opponent doesn't have hard CC or has enough of a brain to not waste it. Kinda the same reason Eve's W and Sion's Q still slow even if they don't fully charge.

: Fizz is actually awful past mid game. Malphite is good in plat and diamond, but once banshees comes out or people actually can react to his ultimate, he’s not very good. Fortunately, you play Malphite to stomp levels 6-15.
No one really builds Banshee's, that item is awful when {{item:1402}} and {{item:3285}} exist. People also can't really react to his ult, it's one of the single most toxic abilities in the game to counterplay. It's either you have a Flash or you don't, since most blinks have some delay nowadays meaning you'll still get hit by the ability. {{champion:105}} is not awful past mid-game, he still has very respectable damage and survivability.

Yi is just unhealthy by the current nature of his kit and its interactions with certain items. At this point I'd say remove the ability to proc on-hits from passive (still allow it to crit), buff Q to compensate and potentially rework W tbh. Either do all that or revert Guinsoo's back to its Surge passive state.
